Vini

If one looked inside his body using their spiritual sense, they could see that his meridians were in a complete mess. His meridian tree looked like a dry desert mountain filled with ravines. It was a extremely bizzare sight.

In this world, there are people called Sura who are said to be able to communicate with heaven and earth. Those Suras are stronger than ordinary people and also lived longer the stronger they became. It is said that there is a person people revere as 'The Sage' who has lived for over a million years. But nobody knows if that's actually true because no one has seen 'The Sage' in forever.

Vini is from a family of Suras. His family was one of the strongest Sura family in the Eastern County. His family specialised in water and healing techniques but due to some situations in his family, he was never taught any sura techniques. He did not even know how to circulate the qi through his meridian tree. This was something so basic that even some ordinary people would at least have the knowledge of the technique even if they could not actually perform it. But Vini did not.

Vini was currently facing a precarious situation but he did not know how to solve it. He knew in his heart that if he delayed any longer, the evil energy inside him would not even leave his corpse intact. So he was trying to come up with any kind of solution he could think of. The evil force just flowed along his blood vessels all around his body while only leaving destruction behind. After what felt like an eternity to Vini, the evil force finally reached his head.

Inside every Sura's head was a spiritual sea and what lied in the middle of that sea was a temple. Everyone in this world; be they beasts, devils or humans all had spiritual sea in their heads. The only matter was if they could sense and use it to communicate with heaven and earth. But the temple in the middle was unique to the Suras. The temple is built from the base by the Suras as they continue to communicate with the heaven and earth and gradually get stronger. The appearance of the temple differed from people to people and the levels on the temple determined their current strength. Vini, similarly, had the spiritual sea but there was no temple in the middle of it.

It was completely normal since he had yet to become a Sura but what was not normal was the small black dot that you would not even notice if you didn't intentionally look for it in the place where the temple is supposed to be.

After the evil force reached his spiritual sea, it seemingly looked to it's left and right before finally looking at the middle of his spiritual sea. The so called evil force just looked like a ball of red mist clumped together but it also looked like a red flame continuously burning. At this moment, there appeared an eye on the red ball of flame.

The moment the eye opened, the surrounding sea suddenly seemed to freeze in time. There was not even a ripple on the sea surface. Everything suddenly quieted down. There was nothing moving in the whole space except for the evil flame continuously flickering. It looked extremely sinister. The eye had an extremely chilly feel to it. It had a vertical slit for the pupil which was completely red in color. It seemed to instantly notice the black dot in the middle and it's eyes showed a moment of astonishment.

It slowly floated towards the middle while it's eye did not move away from the black dot for a moment. After it reached close to the black dot, it suddenly stopped moving and just floated there for a long time. It's chilly and indifferent eyes were currently showing multiple emotions. There was astonishment, there was surprise, there was anticipation, there was hesitation and finally there was ...rage.
