Preparation day

Si,Jack and Scar were walking the streets of the second wall casually looking at the different shops on the way to the forges.

Most would call it a honor to be behind the second wall, to others the wall is meant to split the poor from the rich.

Royals and nobles watched a barefoot beauty walking the streets, they couldn't help but scowl in her direction thinking she was a poor peasant that shouldn't be behind the second wall.

Nationally when royalty doesn't like something they have to act even if it's something as petty as someone not knowing their place. A rich man that was 5ft didn't like the fact Sil was walking around barefoot without a care in the world.

"I'm sorry lady but commoners and poor people are not aloud inside the Second wall, you have to leave." He declared looking around for support from the other royals, but he got nun.

Sil walked past the little man "you should tell the guard that let me in that. I don't have time for your pettiness." The man was stunned into silence before his face got as red from anger "I am the 3rd" but before he could continue Scar towered over "My master already told you she doesn't have time for you, if you have a problem I may be able to help." He said with a grin showing off his menacing teeth making the man shiver.

The man stayed quiet, So Scar turned around catching up to Sil leaving the man scowling and defeated. But then a idea came to the man so he followed Scar catching back up with Sil.

Sil stoped with a sighed before turning to the man

"What do you want" she asked showing how inpatient she was toward the man. "I'm sorry for what I said earlier, it just threw me off that a woman looking like a present was walking around with the rich. But I was mistaken you must be strong to have tamed a king tear beast." The man explained making Sil turn around walking toward the forges.

The man continued "there's a tournament coming up in a couple days and I still haven't found a fighter that suits my family's liking, I think you would be a perfect fit." Sil stoped and turned to the man once more "what's the reward for winning?" She asked with a hint of curiosity making the man smile.

"The reward is a legendary forged crystal with a skill book (mana to matter) it allows someone to turn mana into anything, with the right amount of mana of course. And the last reward is to allow a family to move up in the ranking of power right next to the sword of the kingdom Alexander himself." The man explained with enthusiasm.

"So I'm guessing all you want is the position of power?" She asked leaning down to the man making him step back "of course not we need the crystal as well we're a family of summoner after all. but can have the skill and will also give you a great sum of money, you also have to wear my family's clothing to represent us or you can't fight." He added making Sil smiled standing back upright towering over the man "When and were is this tournament."

The man started smiling hearing the answer "not so fast you have to get my family's permission first and to do that you have to come to my house and introduce yourself, but they won't be home for 2 days. Don't worry the tournament is still 4 days away so you have plenty of time to prepare."

Sil shrugged "sounds good enough for me, I'm living at the dragon fire inn you can get me when your family's back in town." The man started smiling "excellent. But please don't wear that and maybe some shoes." He said pointing at her black dress and feet. "Don't worry I'll dress properly for the occasion" she said making the man sigh in relief. " I never got your name, my name is Garrett the 3rd son to the griffin household." He stated in a uptight tone like he wasn't allowed to say it any other way.

"You can call me Sil, I have to go, you know where to find me." She said walking away from the man leaving him smiling jumping around. He finally found a fighter for his family or at least hoped so.

After walking for another 20 minutes they made it to the smoking chimneys but it was not what Sil expected. There was hundreds of people going from forge to forge looking for the perfect equipment, pushing past anyone in their way.

Sil didn't want to push through anyone so she went down a alleyway between the forges. Jack and Scar followed with confused looks on their faces.

But it was all clear soon enough when Sil found what she was looking for, it was a bunker door on the back of one of the forge buildings.

Walking up to the metal door giving it a couple loud knocks, someone immediately peeked through a sliding peephole "what do you need?" a man with a rough voice sounding like iron asked.

"I need custom made armor for this bear here and I'm always looking for better items to buy" she answered nonchalantly and the man immediately closed the sliding peephole. For a second Sil thought she messed up before the door opened showing a group of dwarfs working a forge.

"What kind of armor are you looking for?" One of the dwarfs asked standing up from the forge.

"Preferably armor that's resistant to the elements if possible. I also came here looking for a sheath for this cursed dagger." She answered showing off the dagger. The dwarf walked over to scar who was on all fours because the building was to small.

"I can do a lot of shit, but why should i? is this bear going to be able to use it properly, it seems like a waist of time and that cursed dagger can not be sheathed by something weaker then the blade so probably not." The dwarf explained shaking his head.

"Who decided that I'm unworthy of armor?" Scars asked standing on his back legs slouching making sure not to damage the building but still towering over the dwarf. "Ahh so this beast isn't stupid as it looks, he has to be at least king tear being able to speak so fluently. I can definitely make the armor knowing it will be put to good use." The dwarf said walking around Scar examining him.

"Can you at least tell me who made the blade?" Sil asked showing off the blade, The dwarf walked over to a shelf grabbing a pair of glasses that had 5 different lenses on it examining the blade from afar. "Very Interesting this blade is definitely made with with a soul of some kind but I couldn't tell you what, as for who made it… was Farkas The demon kings blacksmith.

Everyone in the room immediately looked toward Sil, wide eyed, like they seen a demon. "My I ask how you acquired a blade from one of the best blacksmiths?" The dwarf that examined the blade asked stepping away from Sil.

"How everyone else who gets something they have no idea what it is, They buy it." She said annoyed seeing how scared everyone got. Everyone in the room relaxed a little hearing the answer. "Sorry about that but the demon king is someone i rather never meet. As for the armor what would you like it to be made out of?" The dwarf asked with a smile handing Sil a book.

Sil opened the book to see a beast crystal at the top of the page and the rest of the page was what beast it came from and the pro's and con's of the crystal, as Sil read through the book while the dwarf began ranting "Its not possible for armor to have 100% Element resistance but 30% is possible the rest of the resistance is up to the material the armor is made of." As the dwarf finish Sil found what beast crystal that she wanted.

Sil pointed to the crystal she wanted making everyone look at her "Are you sure you want this crystal? It's not a bad choice in the slightest but I'm just curious why?" The dwarf asked looking at the crystal she chose.

"The centipede a beast ranged from basic to king tear having extremely tough exoskeleton and the ability to camouflage with it surroundings. Am I missing something?" Sil asked making the dwarf close the book loudly. "Im glad I gave you the book most don't read it, the armor will be done in two days and the price will be 10 gold upfront and 15 gold when you pick it up. Any questions?"

"One more. Scar let her out" Sil ordered and scar let Claire walk out the void. Every blacksmith in the room was staring at Scar like he was a mythical beast doing something impossible. "I need dragonfly scale armor for this one can you do that?"

Hearing the question the dwarf started examining Claire "she must be a burst fighter or just lacking in speed. I can make the armor but it will take a couple extra days unless I make it top priority which would cost extra." The dwarf said with a smile.

"How much extra and how much sooner." Sil asked knowing the dwarf just wanted more money.

"Dragonfly scales isn't something we have a abundance of so it will be 15 gold upfront and 15 gold at pickup and that will take 4 days making it my priority it can be done in 2 days for 10 extra gold." The dwarf explained keeping a cheeky smile.

Sil walked over to Scar putting a hand on his back, It wasn't hard to tell what she wanted, Scar let her hand sink into his body grabbing the bag of gold.

Sil pulled out 30 gold giving it to the dwarf turning his cheeky smile into a smile going from ear to ear.

"What's your name so the order doesn't get misplaced."

"Sil, what time of day do you think the armor will be done?" She asked looking around the room for something she might want. "Probably noonish, will that be all?" He asked with a smile writing something down in a notebook.

Sil turned away with a sigh "yes that will be all, I'll be back in 2 days around noonish" she waved exiting the building through the same bunker door entering the back alley.

"Impressive as always master. Without knowing anything about the kingdom you found a black market smith, guaranteeing the best grade of armor." Jack explained making Sil turn to him holding out 35 gold with a smile."What would you do with all this gold?"

Jack started smiling hearing the question " I would be able to buy top grade herbs with the right brewing stand to make the best potions." He explained with excitement.

"Brewing stand huh sounds good, lead the way." She said giving Jack the gold making him lead the way. Jack walked through the town with a smile looking for a herb shop, until he seen a familiar shop that he started running toward. Sil seen what shop he ran in so she wasn't in a hurry to catch up

to him.

Jack busted into the shop running straight to the counter ringing a bell 3 times. "Wait a minute please I'll be right out!" A voice from the back room shouted. Jack started looking through the herb shop finding what he needed, putting it on the counter waiting for the shop keeper.

When Sil entered the shop to see Jack waiting at the counter with all different type of herbs on the counter. "Shop keeper taking his time?" Sil asked walking through the shop smelling all the different herbs.

After a minute or so a woman walked out the back room making Jack turn to the counter "I'm sorry for the wait, I was finishing a order…" she said before looking confused "Jack?" She asked. Jack started smiling "the one and only" The woman walked around the corner give Jack a tight hug before stepping away.

"I thought you said you would never come back?" She said walking back behind the counter counting the herbs on the counter. "Not really my choice, enough about me I wouldn't have thought you made it behind the second wall in only 3 years that's pretty impressive." The woman finished counting then looking up at Jack.

"That will be 3 gold coins, and not your choice? who can tell Jack the Ripper what to do?" She asked with a chuckle. But Jack had a straight face placing the gold on the counter, making the woman stop giggling "Let's just say I fucked with the wrong person, I would also like a tear 3 brewing stand." The woman raised a eyebrow hearing the answer "who could stop you Jack, if you can't beat someone you were always able out run anyone. did someone actually catch you?" She asked in a worried tone.

Jack turn to look at Sil who was looking at all the different herbs in the shop then turned back to the woman "more like got my self caught. I'm serious I need that tear 3 brewing stand." He explained making the woman scowl at Jack. "One moment" she said walking to the back room. After a couple loud bangs from the back room the woman came back out holding a Machine that had 4 slots for potions with a adjustable stem going into were the potions would be. (Imagine a Minecraft brewing stand but with 4 slots and a red bowl on top)

"That will be 5 gold please. Now tell me who has you on a leash, I could help I have a lot more power then I did back then." She explained flexing one of her arms with a smile.

Jack placed the gold on the counter then let out a long sigh. "I appreciate how for you would go, but it won't do anything I'm a… slave." He said with his head down turning away. But before he could walk away the woman grabbed his hand. "Slave huh where's the brand?" She asked not believing Jack in the slightest.

Jack turn to her and started smiling "I'm a slave to a slave master, not to a slave owner. She can kill me with the snap of her fingers if she wanted to. Like I said you can't do anything, but it was nice catching up with you." He explained grabbing the brewing stand and his herbs turning around walking toward Sil. but what he didn't expect was for the woman to follow behind him.

The woman walked out in front of Jack about to slap Sil, Sil was about to cut her hand off before Jack dropped everything catching her arm pinned her to the ground while bowing. "I'm sorry master this woman doesn't know what's she's doing please forgive her." He pleaded hoping he did enough to save her.

Sil caught everything Jack dropped by surrounding the items with mana making a widow pop up giving her a new skill.

New skill granted telekinesis. telekinesis is a skill that allows you to lift anything from afar with mana. (The more mana you use the lighter the items get)

"You probably don't get it do you shop keeper? Jack here just saved you from a lot of pain, I was about to chop your hand off. You should thank him." Sil explained leaning down to the woman who was scowling up at Sil.

"Jack I have things to do, you can do whatever you want. Meet me back at the inn before nightfall because when the sun goes down we're eating with or without you." Sil added walking out the herb shop with the items floating behind her.

Jack let go of the woman letting her get up "I hope you know she wasn't kidding about cutting your hand off, she did it to a guy last night for trying to steal 26 silver." Jack said trying to break the ice but all it did was make the woman turn to him scowling.

"What happened to you Jack? You used to kill the people in power to help the people who didn't have power to fight, but now I guess your just somebody's slave." She hissed out trying to hurt Jack but all it did was make him smile.

"Do you know what type of fighter I am Elaine?" Jack asked making Elaine turn around looking confused. "Why dose that matter?" Her question made Jack smile even more turning his smile into a menacing one "I'm a endurance fighter that's why I either win or run because I usually know when I'm out matched." Elaine was starting to get even angrier "what's your point Jack!" She shouted.

"I thought I was about to have a drawn out battle that would last hours but it ended in minutes.

I used my strongest skill that allowed me to become half demon, but all she had to do was charge her endless amount of mana, she smothered me with mana making my bones scream and my blood boil. The pain was something I will never forget and the power she wields is beyond what I thought was possible." He finished walking away out the shop leaving Elaine speechless.

Sil made her way back to the first wall on the way to Fred's house before being stoped by a older shopkeeper around 40 with black hair looking kinda scrawny begging people to fill a gem he was trying to sell."Please I will give you anything!" The shop keeper begged on his knees to random aadventurers but they all pushed him away.

Sil walked up to the man with a smile "I can change the gem but I can't do it for free." The man looked up at Sil crying tears of joy "please please come into my shop I'll show you what I have to offer." He said in a soft tone with a shining smile. "Scar wait out here till I call you."

Entering the shop that was just tall enough for Sil to stand comfortably in, there was shiny enchanted armor on stands all around the room with shining enchanted weapons hanged up on the walls.

"Welcome to the my shop." He said placing one giant dim gem in the counter with 3 smaller ones next to it. Sil gave the man a soft smile before charging the gems. After a minute all four gems were shining brightly.

The shop keepers mouth was wide open watching how fast the gems were charged "sorry old timer but I only want money and by the way no one comes to help you is because you have non current?" She asked looking at the shop keeper with a serious look making him step back.

"Y..your right I have nothing to pay you with besides what you see and apparently it's not good enough for anyone." He said as he began to cry looking down at the ground.

"As you can tell old timer, I already charged your gem what are you crying about?" She asked making the old man look at the shining gems stop crying "W..why would you charge them if you knew I had no money to give?" He asked looking confused.

"Don't doge my question old man why are you crying" the old man looked back down at the gems then back up at Sil as he stoped crying he explained "I'm actually not selling the gem I have to give it away to people I owe a massive amount of money to, they don't want anything else beside to make my life harder." He added with a little anger.

"Sounds rough, what are you going to do about it? They are going to take everything from you slowly or at least the what it sounds like to me." Sil said nonchalant tone making the shopkeeper sigh.

"Your probably right about that. May I ask why you helped me? You charged my gems which usually would cost at least a gold coin and you haven't asked for a thing."

"I already told you I wouldn't charge the gems for free, but what you didn't know is the fact you gave me good information that I will now use to blackmail you. Scar!" She shouted making the shopkeeper even more confused.

Scar walked into the room walking over to Sil "what do you need master?" Sil put her hand on his back "the bag of giant coins" hearing what Sil said made the shopkeeper look at her in disbelief, that's until her hand sunk into Scars back pulling out a bag.

"How much do you owe?" Sil asked slamming the bag of coins on the counter making the shopkeeper jump "20 gold coins" hearing the amount made Sil whistle, she dug into the bag of coins pulling out 5 giant silver coins spreading them across the counter making the shopkeeper sweat.

"What do you want?" He asked in a shaky voice making Sil smile "I want you to give up this life of debt and join me, do as I say and I'll make you life a lot better then it is here." The shopkeeper was speechless hearing what Sil had to say but she continued "if I don't help you, you will die because you will never be able to pay them, if you work under me I keep what's mine so you will be safe."

The shopkeeper took a couple steps back not believing what he was hearing till he heard the shop door open and 3 bulky men walked into the room holding a small bag. Seeing the men walk into the room and Sil smiling ear to ear the shopkeeper mind went blank and he spoke without thinking. "I'll do anything please!" He pleaded falling backwards onto his ass.

When the head man of the three men seen Sil he whistle at her "hay beautiful what are you doing in a shit hole like this?" He asked getting closer to Sil before one of his buddy's grabbed his shoulder stoping him "that woman had a scary looking blade with 20 gold worth of coin on the counter you should pay attention." He said in a stern tone making the man he grabbed stop.

Sil walked over to the man who whistled giving him the 5 giant silver coins "this is the money he owes leave my shop, you have no further business here and if you have a problem bring the real boss to talk to me because I don't like talking to underlings." She demanded making the front man's eye twitch.

"Who the H.." the front man shouted before the men behind him stoped him once more "were not trying to cause any trouble with anyone throwing around that type of coin. we need to leave NOW."

The man demanded making the front man scowl at Sil before turning away leaving the shop.

"Your…Shop?" The shopkeeper asked in a shaky tone making Sil turn to him "yes everything you own is mine now so pack it all up and put into Scars void, chop chop we have places to be." Scar immediately started chucking all the enchanted items into the void while the shopkeeper watched not believing what was happening.

Sil walked over to the shopkeeper crouching down to eye level "what's your name, I can't keep calling you shopkeeper my name is Sil." The shopkeeper looked up at Sil with a blank expression "Tommy"

"We'll Tommy I need you to pack all your shit, put it all together in one place, all your shit. Understand?" She asked in a stern tone snapping Tommy out of his daze making him run up some stairs packing all his belongings.

"Do we have another new companion master?" Scar asked sitting down after collected everything in the room. "Yes we do, go upstairs and help him we need to hurry." Scar walked. More like crawled up the creaky staircase helping Tommy pack.

After 5 minutes Tommy came down stairs with Scar following him. "Alright let move." Sil said leaving the shop now empty without anything left of value behind. "May I ask why we're in such a rush" Tommy asked trying to keep pace with sil.

"We have a big mission tomorrow and we need to prepare somethings before we leave." She answered back walking into Fred's house without announcing herself.

Walking up the stairs Sil's tall finger made Fred and his mom panic for a second before they recognize it was her. "We don't have all day I'm going to try and explains as quickly and as fluently as possible so I need Fred's mom what's your name?" She asked in a impatient tone making her jump up

"My name is Trish."

"Trish meet Tommy, Tommy meet Trish. You two will be working together for now on, Trish makes the clothes and Tommy will be enchanting them, then you will sell them around the kingdom making enough money to make better quality items. Did you two get that?" She asked looking at both of their blank faces.

"It will be done" Trish answered with a slight bow, Tommy stood there for a second trying contemplating what Sil's plan was then a idea came to mind "your trying to level us up aren't you?" He asked with a smile making Sil turn to him "at least you get it, yes I need you two to level up if your going to be of any use to me in the long run." She explained making both of them smile ear to ear.

"I would like to give you two a surname if you would let me." Sil said turning there smiles into stunned expressions once more "you have the power to do that Miss Sil?" Trash asked not believing what she was hearing. "Yes I can it would be rather easy but not for you two, I promise you that it will be a painful process but you both will gain power and a longer life." She explained making both Trish and Tommy start crying kneeling to Sil.

"Trish your surname is Lucius, Fred your surname is also Lucius." She said making both of start grunting from the pain, then they started crying from the pain before they past out on the floor, Sil lifted them off the ground with telekinesis laying both of them next to scar.

"Your next Tommy are you ready?" She asked turning to the smiling Tommy. "I've always wanted a surname me and my brother always talked about how much life would be easer with one." He explained feeling nostalgia from his days with his brother. "Im going to be taking you to the inn I'm staying at same with these two it's a lot nicer then then this shit hole, so try not to panic if you wake up in a black room. You ready?" She asked making Tommy nod his head.

"Tommy your surname from this day forwarded is Thompson." The second Sil finished her sentence Tommy kneeled now to the ground grunting before passing out. "Scar it time to pack everything and everyone" she said picking up half of everything in the room with telekinesis moving everything to scar putting it all into the void.

It only took 5 minutes to put everything from the small house into the void. After everything was packed it was already getting dark so they headed back to the inn. But before they could even get 10 steps out the door the same group of men that was at Tommy's was headed their way.

The group of three men seen Sil and one of the men sighed before stepped forward "your just helping out the weak and poor today aren't you may I ask why?" The man asked in a friendly tone but his face didn't match the tone he was straight facing not showing any emotions.

"that's nun of your business underline, if your not here to take me to your boss then I need you to walk away." She demanded making a vain visible on the mans forehead. "FINE! Follow me" the man shouted walking towards the second wall,

"Scar go back to the inn, if I take too long go ahead and eat without me." She said walking away from Scar following the men. Scar wasn't worried for Sil but himself he didn't know his way around this giant kingdom! but all the sudden he smelled someone familiar but he couldn't tell who it was till he turned the corner. "Bartender!" Scar shouted charging into the man putting him into void.

"We're the hell am I?" The bartender said aloud not expecting a answer then all the sudden a screen popped up in the darkness showing everything Scar sees. "Which way to the inn? i'm new to human life." The bartender was stunned for a second before he chuckled and started giving Scar directions to the inn.

Sil on the other hand was in a fancy looking house on the outside of the second wall talking to a lizard man.

(The lizard men look identical to the one in (the amazing spider man) but they have to wear clothing)

The lizard man was wearing beast armor under his green and black attire also having black leather boots on. "I hear your taking care of my dirty work for me I would like to thank you for that, Join me in taking over the kingdom all I'll give you everything you ever wanted." The lizard man spoke like he high and mighty making Sil start chuckling everyone turn to her as she started laughing aloud making the lizard man scowl at her.

"Work under you!!!" She started laughing hysterically like it was the best joke she's ever heard. "I could kill you right now if I wanted to I have 30 men in this room all above advanced rank what do you have some daggers?" He said as he started laughing with all his buddy's joining in.

"Some daggers uh? Do you think you can even touch this blade?" She asked keeping a smile on her face making everyone stop laughing. "What can a blade do? It's just a piece of steel." He bellowed turning Sil smile into a menacing one she flipped the blade around grabbing it by the blade pointing the hilt of the dagger at the lizard man. "Take the blade then"

The lizard man looked confused before standing walking closer to the blade, As he got closer started to get the chills, getting closer his body started to shake and as he reach for the blade his body started screaming at him not to touch the blade, the lizard man put his hand down backing away from the blade.

"That blade is cursed isn't it?" The lizard man asked with his chin on his fist. Sil flipped the blade into the air keeping it there with telekinesis "what happed to being able to kill me at any time?" She asked making the blade float around the room.

The lizard man started smiling "I know when I'm out done what are your demands?" He asked watching the dagger float through the air.

"I'm no theft but I think I will be taking one of your Cyclops eyes in return I'll charge any gem you have, oh and you tell all your little friends not to fuck with me that would be nice." She said bringing the dagger back to her hand.

Everyone in the room split up going in different rooms, Sil was confused till everyone in the room was holding a gem of some kind making her sigh.

Then the lizard man stepped up up to Sil giving her a giant gem. "That's all you wanted?" The lizard man asked with suspicion.

Sil begin changing 5 gems at a time while talking

"I might need you later but right now I'm good, just stay away from my people and we won't have any problems." The lizard man turned away grabbing 3 more Cyclops eyes presenting them to sil after she charged the smaller gems.

Sil charged all 3 gems in minutes making everyone in the room go wide eye "before I go I want you to tell every low life in the kingdom not to fuck with a red haired woman named Sil or her companions or she will devour their souls." Everyone in the room kneeled to Sil watching her leave the building sighing in relief once she was gone.

Sil made it back to the inn without distractions as the sun was going down. Entering the building everyone was sitting at one table waiting for Sil's arrival. "Welcome back!" Everyone shouted at Sil as she entered.

Sil walked over to the group sitting down with a smile "Where's the food?" The bartender snapped his fingers and 4 human woman walked out the back room placing different types of food on the table. "I hope you enjoy" the woman said in unison and the group dug into the food like a pack of wild animals.

After 20 minutes of eating everyone in the group was done eating leaning back in their seats with a full belly "bartender what's the bill" sil asked walking over to the bar. "20 silver" he said pouring her a drink. Sil placed 4 giant copper coins on the counter drinking the drink in one shot "that's good get me a mug of that" the bartender raised a eyebrow but did as she said.

Sil began chugging the drink while the bartender watched with a bewildered expression "that's one of the strongest types of liquor in the kingdom you should slow down." Sil looked up at the bartender

"I don't think I ever asked for your name bar keep."

"They call me john, john sway." He said with a smile. "Alright John, I need 2 more rooms and one of them needs two beds." John turned around grabbing a piece of paper giving it to sil. Picking up the the bartender explained.

"This is the blueprints to the building, go head and pick the room you want." Sil pointed at two rooms on the second floor next to her's making John nod.

"that will be free of charge. For all your help." He said placing keys on the counter. Sil grabbed the keys giving John a nod.

Sil walked back to her table where everyone was sitting giving Trish,Fred and Tommy the keys to their rooms. "We have a job in the morning everyone go to your rooms, scar give them anything they need out the void before you go to bed. Were moving out early, get some sleep" She ordered walking up the stairs to her room with everyone spreading out going to their rooms.
