[Bonus chapter]Their life two weeks later

Despite the confusion, Lewis and the Qin family and the selected people who came to bid her farewell waited. They waited and waited and waited, getting all anxious with every passing second. Although they were glad by this sudden turn of events, none of them raised their expectations.

What if it was just another mistake? That was just akin to stabbing themselves for the second time. 

Lewis paced back and forth inside the room, where they were waiting for good news. He ran his hands through his hair, shaking his other hand. The waiting was making him very anxious, as he couldn't sit still. His heart was racing to an extent he had to catch up to his breathing.

Meanwhile, the people inside the room, the Qin brothers, Marshall, Bella, Derek, and Quentin, could only watch him. They never spoke a word, glancing at the door every once in a while.
