"Darling, what are you doing here?" Zoey almost skipped her steps as she welcomed the eye candy Matthew Xi. When she arrived in front of him, she glared at the female employee for attempting to make a move on her prey.
"I — I have to pass this to the art department, boss." The female employee coughed, before she looked away from the deadly glare from her boss and made an excuse. Without further ado, the female employee scoot away from the over-reacting Zoey.
"Anyway, how did you know I am here?" After making sure the employee was far away, Zoey's threatening aura instantly transformed into a sweet, innocent teenager. "Did you look me up, perhaps?" Fluttering her curled lashes, her lips stretched from ear to ear.
"I did." Clearing his throat, Matthew Xi pressed his lips together as he looked at her pair of twinkling eyes.
Even though he wouldn't travel his gaze, he could still feel the constant glance from the employees. Somehow, the more he dwelled on their gazes, the more discomfort he had felt.
"You did?! Gosh, you really like me that much~?" Just like a teenage girl that was blushing in front of her crush, Zoey covered her mouth by her hand. By the looks of it, the assumption which she knew deep down wasn't the case still moved her.
Meanwhile, the employees that were near them, watching their boss and Mr. Handsome Guy in the front seat could not help but scrunched their nose up, as their face slowly crumpled. They had seen the different side of Zoey, but this was their first time seeing her how to flirt.
Was their boss always like this in front of a man? Does she always act like a young girl who was experiencing love for the first time? If that was the case, no wonder she was still single until now.
Fortunately, Matthew Xi couldn't hear their thoughts or he would cast them an extremely disdainful look. After all, Zoey's first approach was akin to a dangerous temptress. She just changed to this shameless lady persona after Cora Ma apprehended her.
"About the…" Diverting her attention and attempting to talk about their first date, his words trailed off as Zoey snapped.
"Oh!" Checking her wrist watch, Zoey's eyes widened as her meeting was about to start. "Darling, I have a meeting to catch. Follow me and we'll be all lovey-dovey on the way, oki? I'll show off to my art people~!" Lifting her gaze back at him, Zoey tilted her head to the side as she gestured him to follow him.
Well, although she wanted to play with her baby darling, too bad Zoey was on her work mode. Therefore, she couldn't goof around like usual. Still, since he made an effort to visit her, Zoey dragged him with her as she only has one last meeting with her people.
After that, they could have more babe time as much as he wished.

Half an hour later…
"Boss Zhou, good choice!" After their meeting, one female employee, approached Zoey and she humored her boss.
"Well, thank you, Mel. You know me, I only like the best." Humoring back, Zoey heartily laughed which reached Matthew Xi's ear who was sitting on the corner of the meeting room.
Upon hearing Zoey's laughter, he gulped a mouthful of saliva as she sounded so evil — why? Moments ago, he could barely recognize Zoey while she oriented her team about the upcoming projects and all designs that they needed.
Matthew Xi shouldn't be surprised but, he was. Watching her work on a serious note, he didn't get bored even if he had to stay on the sidelines.
God… no one treated him like this. No one ever dared to make him wait even if someone has another arrangement. After all, who would dare make this legendary tycoon wait? Knowing his thin patience, everyone would try to appease the king.
Yet, now, he found himself enjoying Zoey make her business despite her constant harassment. He didn't even notice that he had been there for an hour and half doing nothing.
"Anyway Boss Zhou, this is the receipt for the new mechanical keyboard and monitor I bought." When Mel made sure that Zoey was in the good mood, she slid a receipt that she bought for building her work set-up.
"Pssh," Clicking her tongue, Zoey snatched the receipts on the desk and glanced at it. "Is this all?" Glancing at her chubby face, Zoey asked in a dead pan tone.
"Yes!" Mel nodded her head and answered before Zoey dismissed her with a wave of her hand.
"How cheeky," Zoey commented as she watched the cute Mel depart the meeting room.
"That's for…?" As they were alone in the meeting room, Matthew Xi slowly stood up and walked over to her side. Taking a peek on the receipt, he arched his brows before he leaned on the frosted glass wall.
"Oh, it's Mel's computer set up." Shrugging, Zoey answered without giving details why. Staring at him, she blinked her eyes multiple times as he appeared that he sought more answer aside from that.
"Err, because she used it at work so, if upgrading her set up makes her work more diligently — I don't mind." Closing some folders, Zoey slowly stood from her seat and strode towards his leaning figure.
Slowly, Zoey leaned forward, her palm slammed on his side. "I'm all yours now, Mister." The corner of her lips curled into a seductive smirk which was inviting and not at the same time.
Looking nonchalant, Matthew Xi stared at the pair of wanton eyes. His gaze slowly traveled from her upturned almond eyes down to her curved red lips. 'Such bold word from a nice lips,' his subconscious mind complimented.
