Addison's POV:

It's been a few months since my first highschool party. They stopped holding parties from September to who knows when. Until, today in the month of November.

*Earlier this morning*

BEEP BEEP BEEP!

Pretty Girl by Maggie Lindemann blares through the room after several beeps from my alarm. I turn over and stare at the time, 7:30 AM. Ughhhh! I sit up after 5 minutes.

"Ok, let's get ready and get some breakfast for them and go over to the gym with the girls." I recite to myself. I huff and get ready still letting my playlist blare. At 8, I'm all changed and ready to head to the gym.

I arrive at the gym and meet Mads and Sabrina.

"Hey girls!" I greet them.

"There you are! I missed you!" Madeline exclaimed. Sabrina and I laughed.

*After the whole workout thing and they are now in school :)*

We were chatting on and on while walking to our lockers which were all next to each other.

"Oh my gosh! Kyle on the football team is holding a part-aeee!" I heard a cheerleader say across my locker. I roll my eyes and sip my Starbucks.

"I know right?! It's been forever since they held a party. I can't wait to see them! They are probably only a party since they couldn't resist not seeing us." One of the minions to one of those snobby cheerleaders said. They squealed. The three of us finish up at the lockers and we walk out to the field.

"We have 15 minutes till we have to head to homeroom." Madeline informed us. I nod and we sit on the bleachers. I was hoping they didn't catch what those stuck-up cheerleaders said earlier by our lockers, but no luck. It was the talk of the day. I mean, ever since the first party, Ryder and Ashton haven't really been around. I heard that that they had headed back to NYC to do things but I was never sure. My last text conversation with Ashton and Ryder went like this.

Ashton 😎

Me: Hey where u been?

Me: Everyones worried about u here ur not in school either

Ashton 😎: Dont worry about me sis im fine

Me: Is Ryder w u? Hes not here too

Me: And no i wont stop worrying, ur not here, nor in school

Ashton 😎: Yes Im with him now shouldnt you be heading to school?

Me: im already here, i started waking up early

Me: plz be safe and come back

I couldn't believe that he was with Ryder and told me not to worry. He also left me on read.

"You two heard those girls talking about the party that Kyle is holding tonight?" Sabrina questioned us. I groan.

"Of course I did! They were so loud and pestering. Besides that is the talk of the day." I said annoyed. They laughed at me, but the laughter faded away quickly. I felt Madeline nudge me. I look at her with a raised eyebrow just to see her motioning behind me. I couldn't see what theywere seeing since my back was to the field while they were facing the field. I turn around.

"Kyle?" I ask in confusion. What was he doing here? I'm not even that popular.

"I know I know. It's just that I would really like if you and your friends come to my party tonight." Kyle said holding up his hands and before I could say anything he went on. "I guarantee that there will be no fighting like the incident at Tyler's party." I slowly nod. I hear Madeline and Sabrina shrieking silently. Geez.

"I'll think about it. Madeline and Sabrina most likely will go. I have to get to class. I'll let you know later." I inform him before walking down the bleachers onto the field and into the school. I throw my Starbucks out before heading inside my homeroom. My classes flew by and in every conversation it was always about the party. I decided to text Madeline and Sabrina my answer- I'm going to the party.

*Getting ready for the party*

"Gosh. Why did I say yes again? This is probably a dumb party anyways." I mutter under my breath while searching for an outfit. I figured I would get an idea from the girls.

Mads, Sab, Addi 😜💎🥺

Me: hey whatcha wearing to the party?

Me: I cant decide...

Mads: Oh ok at least ur coming 😉

Mads: (Picture of black crop top and black pants paired with black heels)

Sab: Oooo that hott

Mads: Well ofc it is it has to b

Mads: cuz this is the 2nd party their holding and the 1st after they stopped

Me: Thats amazing tho and yea

Sab: In that case Ig my outfit will b ok

Me: Wowwwwww

Sab: HAHA ik

Mad: 😎

Me: k thx and u guys can drive Im gonna drive my Jeep

Mads: U sure?

Sab: u positive?

Me: yea

Mads: Ok then... we're still here tho

Sab: Ok. and yea we're still here 4 u

Me: thx see u there

With that, I closed my phone and knew what my outfit would be.

(A/N: Not just the outfit, but the hair and nails and maybe shoes?)

I look at myself once again. I gasp in awe. I grab a bag and some things and leave my room and head downstairs. I see my mom and dad talking to each other and Lilac eating mac and cheese. I walk over to them.

"Hey Mom and Dad! Hey Lilac!" I greet them cheerily.

"Addi!" Lilac says and hugs me.

"Aww you little cutie. How's your day?" I coo sweetly. She giggles.

"Today was good." Lilac says smiling brightly. I smile and pat her head.

"Hey sunny!" Mom greets me. I hug her and Dad.

"Hey! How was your day?" I ask while eating some Sourpatch.

"Great actually. I see your heading somewhere?" Dad chimes. Mom nods.

"Yea, a party actually. I'm guessing it's really important since the host, Kyle, was practically begging and assured me it won't be like the last one." I inform my parents. They brighten. Wait, I'm confused...

"That's great. Lilac is sleeping over at her friends house down the block." The mood suddenly brightens. I feel a beep in my pocket, that must be my reminder to get to the party.

"Ok guys. I need to go." I say and give my parents each a kiss on the cheek and grab my keys and head out to Kyle's place.

"Your here!" I hear a familiar voice shout. Oh my goodness. I walk towards the figures.

"Oh my goodness." Was all that left my mouth as I walked closer to the figures. They laughed. I saw who they were. 😮😱

The first party of high school was held back in September by Kyle's friend, Tyler King. During the party, Addison's brother and his best friend (Ashton and Ryder) got into a physical fight with Tyler and Madeline and Sabrina tried to stop them only to receive bruises. James fetched Addison and she stood between the two groups ending up in Tyler's guest bed also with bruises. Ever since then, there has not been a single party and Ashton and Ryder have been disappearing more and more often after a month until they weren't at school or home for a day and on. Addison tried to contact them only Ashton replied with 2 messages and left her on red. Then one day in November, the trio friends heard the cheerleaders talking about a party that Kyle was holding. Kyle practically begs Addison to go to his party and she finally accepts. When she arrives at his house, she hears a quite familiar voice along with familiar laughs.
