Rever and Rebecca fought at least ten times before they managed to snatch an elite beast as their pet.

Rebecca caught one first and named the beast Olive.

"I really managed to tame it as Rio said. The only thing is I can't make it loyal to me as he did earlier." Rebecca Frostlight

"Have you read the description of your pet, use that as the topic and you might get it loyal to you." Rio Magus

Rebecca nodded and started brainstorming on what she's going to say.

While Rebecca is thinking, Rever managed to catch himself a wolf. A female elite at that. He then named his new pet Amaya. Unlike Rebecca, Rever managed to sweet-talk the female elite and gain a bunch of skills. Although there are fewer skills compared to what Rio got.

After Rever managed to receive Amaya's trust and loyalty, Rebecca also managed to do the same.

Although just after Rebecca managed to gain its trust, the Alpha who was silently watching them after Rio's fight suddenly moves. Its huge body made the other wolves step back as it stood on its four paws.

"Move, the Alpha is up!" Rio Magus

Rio's voice entered the duo's ear and became alert. Sweat rolls down their spine as they held their weapon, ready to confront the beast.

"Awooh!" Alpha Black Maned Wolf

The alpha beast looked up into the sky as it started howling all of a sudden. The whole pack raised their ears in sync and look ahead of them.

Their eyes were locked in Rio's group's direction. Although the thing is, their eyes were looking far ahead of their group, they are looking in the direction of the grassland — the place where Rio's group made their hideout.

Rio noticed it and decided to check his maps. The smaller map looks bugged as the yellow dots that represent the wolves turned into a green one. While the bigger map became plagued by thousands of red dots.

Rio looked behind him and he saw something frightening hundreds of meters away from them. Hundreds of Redrayot Worker were being led by tens of Redrayot Soldiers.

"I-I don't wanna die! Agh!!!" Bluch Grump

"H-hey! Fatty! Not there!" Rever Mantu

Bluch was too scared but his body is overwhelmed by his will to live and managed to run away. However, the place he ran away was the resting ground of the Black Maned Wolves. Rever Mantu tried to stop him but a hand grabbed his shoulders to stop him.

"Don't mind him and do as he did. Retreat! They won't touch us. I assure you. They are allies, remember what you read about Redrayots?" Rio Magus

"Yes— They made the whole world their enemy... The enemy of my enemy is my friend!" Rever Mantu

"Remember that senior. Right now, the biggest threat to our lives were those filthy bugs. Retreat!" Rio Magus

At this time, Rebecca, who is silently listening to what the two are talking suddenly moved before either of the guys did. She used the ability that she just received and dashed her way into the camp of the wolves. She is exhausted after her last battle making her ran for her own life.

Rever then ran along with Amaya and outrun the exhausted fatty who only managed to run halfway through before reaching his limit.

Rever, Amaya, Rebecca, and Olive reached the resting ground of the wolves and was welcomed by a few lower members of the pack to a safe area to rest. They were surprised at how they were treated.

But it was so natural for the wolves as they know the threat in front of them is larger than a couple of hairless apes who enslave their comrade.

Rio shook his head as he started walking. In front of him was the almost dead exhausted Bluch. Rio sighed as he assisted Matt Volt who was badly injured after the fight and when he just walk yet he still managed to catch up to Bluch.

"Just clear your mind and walk straight. We managed to walk for thousands of meters before but look at you. You're such a wimp. When will you grow, ha?" Rio Magus

"Ha-- Ha! Ha! I-I-I am ha! I'm tired-ah! I wannah! Rest! Ha-! Ack! Blurgh!" Bluch Grump

Rio was frustrated as he watched Bluch throw up and lose consciousness. Rio look at the injured Matt Volt and thought of making him carry Bluch but he shook his head at the thought.

Rio has no other choice but to remove his assimilation with Malphite and carry Bluch on his waist.

On his way, Rio was escorted by another Elite who led them into a humungous tree's roots that entangled against each other to create a naturally formed shelter. The shelter size is enough to fit twice the size of Matt Volk.

Rio's calmness caught the attention of few elites which made them want to fight him too. Rio saw the movements of Redrayots from their position and guessed that they are not in came after their group.

The Redrayot who was behind them did not come after them, they were scouts who had the task to look for a place where they can expand their new territory.

Just by looking at the map shown by the ward he left on the entrance he can tell that the place he made with Rever will become the newest nest of Redrayot after spotting a large dark red spot on the map.

The dark red dot is the Redrayot Princess, who is about to lay her first egg and get crowned as Queen, elevating her strength and status in Redrayots. Besides, there are tens of thousand Redrayot Soldiers and a pair of Elite Redrayot Soldiers guarding the base.

'This is dangerous. We need to leave now! Even the whole Black Maned Wolves will be left without bones if we confront them! I have to make them aware of it somehow... But how?' Rio Magus

Rever noticed that Rio is thinking about something and approached him from behind. He gently tapped his shoulder lightly then began a conversation.

"What's the problem that you look so troubled? Do you want to say something about our current predicament?" Rever Mantu

Rio furrowed his brows after hearing what Rever just said and stood up in shock; Although it did not show on his face. He just casually made a disgusted face then look Rever again.

"What is with you? Does the fear of death turn you into a retarded man? Senior, that's disgusting! Let's go, we need to find a way to make the pack retreat with us." Rio Magus

Rio quickly made his decision and left to meet the alpha. The alpha is still on alert when it noticed that Rio is approaching him. The alpha sent a death stare at telling it to stop any attempt to approach him.

"Stop with the stare buddy, I just want to ask whether you can understand my words. I guess a beast is still a beast no matter how strong they are, ha?" Rio Magus

Rever and Rebecca hid behind Rio after hearing the roar. Although there is fear on their face, they still know that Rio could handle himself.
