The Night only Began

"Rio, what exactly happened!" Rebecca asked him when they returned to Rio's room.

"Nothing much, senior sister. I've heard that bastard cooperating with another race to poison me and take all my belongings. How absurd, I've never been this mad before. Sigh!" Rio shook his head then took a bunch of new books out of his dimensional pouch. "Bluch received a cookbook earlier, right? Here, take this. These are beginner to intermediate books introducing how to cook a dish without leaking the energy inside the ingredients. If you can learn it, that'll help us greatly."

Bluch took the books out of Rio's hands carefully then look the cover silently. He put the rest of his books back to his item bo and only left the Beginner Chef in his hands.

"Senior sister, please take this as well. These are medicinal ingredients to create five kinds of liquid medicine and ten pills. We'll leave the city in two days. We won't leave the Premises of the Inn before that, so please lend a hand and do what we can." Rio said with a dishearted tone after the betrayal of Rever.

Rebecca and Bluch began reading the contents of their book while Rio stood up and leave the room. In front of him was the 3d map. A red mark was about to leave the premises of the Inn which makes it easier for Rio to hunt the person down.

The red mark belongs to the lizard-looking individual who colluded with Rever to kill him. Rio doesn't want to let a hostile individual who seeks for his death to exist in his presence which is probably going to be a problem as time goes by.

It's so dark outside and only the dim light of the Inn is allowing them to see. This allowed Rio to take advantage of his ability 'Shadow Hide'.

Rio did not kill the person on the spot and instead, he followed him and stayed twenty meters away from the target. The 'Shadow Hide' increased his attribute in the darkness as a side effect while the actual use of it hides his appearance and his presence.

With Shadow Hide, he followed the guy who left the city. Then the lizard midget went into one encampment with more than twenty red-marked individuals. To be precise, they are a group of people who is hostile to him.

Rio quickly tapped the map to spy on their conversation. There are two more lizard-looking individuals among the group, then there are four one-eyed midgets with vials of unknown liquid on their waist. Some of them walk on all four with a head filled with tens of eyes, while some of them look like a fly with a body of a human.

"Ayo! You failed! Am I right?" One of the one-eyed midgets said as soon as he saw the lizard-like individual enter the encampment. "That's why I said you can't just kill him through poisoning. A person like that will eat his own cooking than eat someone else food!"

"What bullshit are you saying? Spat!" The person said then spit on the ground. "He ate in the cafeteria of the Inn! I've tried to trick his companion to kill him but he was found out when they ate at the cafeteria! What a waste of time!"

"Oh!? That's a shame!" The one-eyed midget said then took a vial from the other one-eyed midget. "How about following the original plan? We have more than twenty on our side, we can just gank him then kill him when he left the city!"

"That's the only thing we can do to eliminate him. I've heard that man's strength is terrible, he kills class 5 beasts with ease using just a pair of self-made weapons. That's what that Rever person said." The lizard-looking man said.

"That's nothing! We can throw ten of this poison on him then he'll die leaving only his clothes behind!" The one-eyed midget said then took a reddish-purple poison on his own dimensional pouch.

The group look at the bottle of poison and made an evil grin. The one-eyed midget is actually a member of an alchemist proficient race, One-Fuel.

One-Fuel is a race that belongs to the top one hundred races millions of years ago. With the ability to create pills and potions, they made countless warriors with the use of their knowledge.

The problem is the alchemists felt so small and weak, they began to find a way for them to gain strength. Poison Master started to pop up from time to time until every member of the race seeks poison making instead of creating potions and pills that'll help their race stronger.

They quickly dropped in rank instead of increasing. They are one of the well-known fallen who resides in the top 1,000 — the One-Fuel race.

The bottle of poison that the One-Fuel representative showed was one of corrosive effect — the Corpseless.

The corpseless is a corrosive poison personally made to destroy a corpse without leaving anything but his items behind.

A drop is enough to destroy a corpse within ten seconds. But if the target is a living being, a vial will take an hour if the target did not bother to remove the poison.

"Indeed, as expected from the members of the One-Fuel race. I'll do it then, just let me have his spears once he's dead. I don't really care about anything else." The lizard-looking man said then took the bottle from the One-Fuel representative.

The other races with a long-range weapon did the same and those who are melee combatant did not bother preparing and just waited for the others to be done.

'How wary are they of me that they even prepared such tactics just to kill me? Should I kill them in return for threatening my life?' Rio sighed then rushed into the forest ahead of them. He was wielding his diamante katana this time to let it drink some blood of those who went for his head.

He also transformed into the combination of Ziggs, Fizz, Garen, Shyvana, and Sona. Rio once used Sona when he's trying out various combinations. The result is he became mute.

-Satchel Charge(Basic Skill): Fling an explosive that can be detonated in 4 seconds that deals 50% of the caster's total magic output 4 meters around the explosive and knocked the target from 5 to 10 meters away from the explosion. The caster will also be knocked away by the explosion but won't receive any damage.

-Hexplosive Minefield(Basic Skill): Scatters seven explosives in form of a hexagon; each explosive is a meter away from each other. Each explosive detonates when touched by the enemy and slowing down the enemy by 35% within 1.5 seconds after contact. The target who is within 50 centimeters around the explosive once it explodes will receive damage proportional to 45% of the caster's total magic output. Detonating multiples explosive will increase the damage output to 40%.

-Mega Inferno Bomb(Ultimate): Deploy an extremely explosive bomb to anywhere a kilometer away from the caster. The explosive will explode and causes damage proportional to 150% of the caster's total magic output to the enemy within meters away from the center of the explosion. Targets that are within 11 to 15 meters away from the center will receive 85% instead.

-Seastone Trident(Passive): Basic attack deals damage proportional to 40% of the caster's total magic output in the span of 3 seconds.

Re-casting the skill will reduce the splash effect from 2 meters to 50 centimeters without a slow effect.

If the fish haven't hit any target, the fish will flop on the ground and still attracts the shark.

-Perseverance(Passive): Within the next five seconds without suffering damage, regenerate 1.2% of total health every second.

Increase the caster's maximum speed by 30% for the next 3 seconds. The next attack deals with an additional 45% of the caster's total physical output. The target will be total silence in the next 1.5 seconds.

-Courage(Basic Skill): Reduce taken damage in the next three seconds. In the first second, the damage taken is reduced by 60% then the caster will gain 60% tenacity. In the remaining seconds, damage reduction will drop by 30%.

-Judgement(Basic Skill): Rapidly spin in a bladestorm, dealing 25% of the caster's total physical output eight times. Enemies who were at the edge of the bladestorm will be punished and receive 125% instead. Re-cast the skill will cancel the spin.

-Demacian Justice(Ultimate!): Leap into an enemy within twenty meters away from the caster, dealing 30% of the target's missing health, ignoring any defense or resistance. Enemies within two meters where skill is executed will receive 50% of the damage.

-Burnout(Basic Skill): Spread a Flame around the caster that dealt 25% of the caster's total physical output to the target 2 meters around the caster then receive 30% haste decaying over 3 seconds. Attacking will increase the duration of Burnout by extra 4 seconds. In dragon form, increase the area of the flame proportional to the increase of size after entering dragon form. Killing a wind attribute individual with dragon linage with grant the wings of the Cloud and increase the haste effect by 25% while in dragon form.

Cooldown: 13 seconds

-Flama Breathe(Basic Skill): launch a ball of flame to enemies within 50 meters from the caster, dealing 40% of the caster's total magic output. Enemy damage by the skill will be scorched. Dealing damage on a scorched enemy will deal additional magic damage by 3%. In dragon form, the fireball will increase in size, exploding in impact, and dealt 50% total physical output plus 75% total magic output to those are within the 3 meters wide explosion. The explosion will leave behind a flame for four seconds that deals 10% physical output and 20% magic output then scorch the enemy who was within the flame. Killing a flame attribute individual with dragon linage will grant the breath of the Infernal, converting damage to the scorched enemies into true damage — ignoring resistance and defense.

-Dragon's Descent(Ultimate): Generate 1 fury per second and 2 furies per attack. Dragon's Descent can be cast once the fury is 100. As the caster transform, fly up to 100 meters to the target and knock them to the caster's landing point, dealing 90% of the caster's total magic output. Gain health additional 20% health after taking dragon form. Killing water attribute individual with dragon linage will granting the life of the ocean, increasing the additional health by 40%.

Base on what skill the caster used last, the attack will gain additional effects. Hymn of Valor-staccato: Increase Magic Damage by 10%. Aria of Perseverance-Diminuendo: reduce attack power of the target by 25% plus 4% of total magic output for 3 seconds. Song of Celerity-Tempo: Slows the enemy by 40% plus 4% of total magic output for 2 seconds.
