❄Cursed Winter Souls❄

The lion said, "Wait what!? But... wait... huh?" Ice sighed and said under his breath, "Bella cursed us Red." The lion said, "I see... the witch that burned down our pride camp... anyway, it's nice to see you again Kole.

"Kole smiled widely and replied, "It's nice to see you too Red."

Red got flustered and said, "Yeah... a-anyway... let's go to town! Elder Aphrodite will be thrilled to see you!" Mr. Nafario said, "Alright. Lead the way Red." The ice around Blaze finally melted, and both of his ears lit on fire.

"Haha! I'm at full power baby!" Blaze made a fire cloud and threw a small fireball at Ice's tail. "Ouch! Aah!" Ice shouted. He put his tail in the snow and sighed in relief. "Enough of this tomfoolery. Let us go forward." Edward demanded.

Red glared at Edward and grumbled, "Right away." And Red led the group to a rustic looking town. "This place looks... ok?" Forest said. Blaze said, "Don't you get cold by just sitting in your houses? Geez." "The cold only annoys animals with no fur, or short fur. Hehe.. look Blaze! Your fur is turning white!"

Blaze looked at his paws and gasped. "No!" Blaze's fur turned white and he had red fur at the tip of his ears and tail. Kole said, "I didn't know your fur turned white! I thought you were a red fox!"

Blaze blushed a bit and he shouted, "Shut up!" Forest and Mr. Nafario started laughing. Edward and Lark looked for a place to stay, and Blacksmith was with Kole.

"Oi! Kole! Ice! Come here!" Red was walking towards a barn, and the two followed him. In the barn was a pride of lions. Red led Kole and Ice to the back of the barn. "Red? Is that... wait a sec..." An elder lioness with grey eyes and light brown fur walked up to Kole and said, "Kole...? Is that you?" Kole nodded, and the lioness smiled widely at him.

"Oh how I missed you... you were so cute when you were a cub!" The lioness said. Red sighed and said, "Elder Aphrodite. Do you mind if Kole stays here?" Aphrodite's eyes lit up and she said, "Of course he can stay! Your friends can stay here too. This barn is big enough for everyone."

That night, everyone was sleeping soundly. Then suddenly, a crying sound woke Kole up. He looked around the barn to see who it was, but it wasn't anyone from the barn. Kole walked outside and saw a semi-transparent blue colt.

Kole looked up and saw a huge full moon. "Spirits must come out on the full moon..." Kole thought. The colt whispered, "Help... us..." Kole looked around and saw more blue spirits.

In the corner of Kole's eye, he saw a shadow with glowing red eyes. The shadow looked at Kole and ran at him. Kole was frozen in fear. He has never seen anything like this. Then the shadow beast just stopped. "You shouldn't be out here on a full moon Claudius." Kole quickly looked behind and saw Mr. Nafario and Edward.

"Why are you up so late?" Edward asked. Kole looked at Edward and said, "How... did you guys know I was out here?" Mr. Nafario replied, "It's a full moon and you're a light sleeper. Spirits call out to anyone to help them. These ones are prisoner to this shadow before you."

Kole looked at the spirits and asked, "Can we help them Mr. Nafario?" He replied, "Yes we can. That's what we're supposed to do!" Mr. Nafario said, "Watch carefully Kole." He raised a paw and mumbled a few words. Soon, the shadow dissapeared, and the spirits changed back to a ghostly white color.

"Ooh... thank you for helping uss..." Then the spirits faded away. Kole said, "I have to do that... when I'm fully trained Soul Catcher...?" Mr. Nafario nodded and he said, "Don't worry. They can't hurt you unless you're in your spiritual form."

Kole nodded slowly. "I'm not sure if I can handle such a responsibility..." He thought.
