Kole's body heat was higher than before. The power he gained manifested when he was doing training in the Spirit Realm. "It's not at full power, but it should be enough for now!" Mr. Nafario shouted. Edward roared, and Kole moved out of Edward's path. In that moment, he had remembered something about Edward's special ability.

"Huh? What happened to my waterball?" A younger version of Kole asked while looking around. Edward chuckled and said, "Why, it's my ability. I can roar and cancel out another's powers for about five minutes. I never really trained, but if I did, I could cancel someone's ability for a whole day!" "Wow! You're so cool Edward!" A familiar voice shouted.

Kole screamed in horror when he heard that voice in his flashback. His flames grew hotter and he became more powerful, but tears were rushing down his face. Kole rushed to Edward the fastest he's ever gone, and pushed him into a tree. With a loud snap, Edward fell to the ground, now unable to move. Kole walked to Edward and shouted, "Why... why was he there!?"

Edward knew who he was talking about. He said, "Because I took him in. Both of you. We trained the both of you too." Kole started sobbing even more. It was like something that has been missing came back, but to Kole, it was very unexpected. Edward coughed up blood onto the ground and Kole's paws. He then said, "Blacksmith is powerful. He needs physical training, and he'll become a great fighter."

Kole looked Edward in the eye and said, "Please... don't go..." Edward said, "I'm sorry kit. I'm too old for this." Kole screamed again, and Mr. Nafario walked over saying, "You better not come back. Your mind is getting weaker, Edward." Edward just scoffed and said, "Kole'll make sure of that. He is the only one who can carry more than one soul after all. Now let me sleep."

Kole lied down and buried his face into his paws. Edward said, "Don't be like that, Claudius. You're supposed to be the hero that never cries..." Then Edward slowly closed his eyes while saying, "Stop crying..." His breath stopped, and his heart was no longer pounding. Edward is dead. Kole shouted, "I'm going to kill him! I'm going to kill Conner!"

Mr. Nafario flinched when Kole said that. Then he said, "Kole... you remember, don't you? That's why you're crying?" Kole was still crying not only over Edward's death, but what he just remembered. Kole looked over the horizon at the sun slowly fading away. Then he said, "Mr. Nafario... why is this happening? Why do I have to hurt my friends?"

Mr. Nafario sighed and said, "It's because... Kole it's because you died." Kole just stared at him in disbelief. How he was a child and all is unexplainable to him, but this is too far. Mr. Nafario said, "I... no. We need to tell you the truth. Go to the barn. I need to go out and find Milo before something gets destroyed." Mr. Nafario disappeared, and Kole slowly walked back to the barn.

He sat inside and looked down at his paws. Everyone was inside the barn except for Mr. Nafario and Milo. They weren't talking either. They were completely silent with their heads hung low. Except for Ice and Blacksmith. They had no idea about what was going on. Ice said, "Edward is dead, and the mood is just gloomy. Wasn't he the bad guy?"

Blacksmith said, "There's something we're missing, Ice. Please calm down for now." Ice was stressing out over trying to grasp the situation. Mr. Nafario came back with Milo, who was confused as well. Mr. Nafario said, "Alright. It's time to confess."
