◇A New Threat♧

At the edge of the Winter Forest border was the Savanna Lakes. Kole said, "There's a lot more water here, huh." Ice said, "Yup. It looks nothing like home, but I'm sure there's cheetahs here."

Mr. Nafario said, "Alright. Let's go and find a town." Mr. Nafario took the lead and Blaze said, "Aw, c'mon. Don't waste your time old mam. Kole, Ice. You're coming with me." Kole and Blaze made a giant Fire Nimbus so it can support the three of them, and with that, they went to search for a town.

Hours have passed, and not even a small town was in sight. Ice said, "This is strange. I was told that there are towns here. Unless they changed their ways like they did back at home-" Kole pointed down and said, "Hey! What's that?"

Blaze looked down and saw a purple barrier surrounding a giant building. Blaze flew the cloud to the ground and shouted, "Who's there!?" A purple spear flew past his face in response. Then a lynx with a black robe and a black mask appeared.

"Who are you? You three aren't from here, aren't you?" The lynx said in an annoyed tone. Blaze said, "Conner! What in the living FUCK are you doing here!?" The lynx flinched and said, "Wait... Blaze? Why are you here? And with Claudius!? Oh what a treat."

Kole whispered to Blaze, "So I look like Claudius now?" Blaze whispered back, "Yes. And this is supposed to be your Magica mentor, Conner." Then Conner shouted, "Oi! I heard that you killed Bella! Good riddance."

Blaze shouted, "Enough! You did this, didn't you!?" Conner started laughing and said, "Ha! You think I did this? No. Someone from the mountains escaped the dungeon and started a rampage. I'm trying to dispel this, but it's really strong."

Kole looked above the barrier and saw a small figure. He knew that no one else could see it but Mr. Nafario and himself, so he created a Fire Nimbus in spirit mode, and floated to the top of the barrier.

Blaze looked back and saw that Kole was missing. He looked around and shouted, "H-hey! Where did Kole go!?" Ice said, "He probably saw something in spirit mode... maybe the source of the barrier! We need to get Mr. Nafario!"

Blaze said, "Kole can handle himself! He's Claudius, remember?" Ice growled and shouted, "That doesn't mean he remembered everything just because he's an adult again!" "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Conner shouted in pure rage.

Kole floated to the very top and saw a shadow-like hyena with blazing red eyes. "Ack! Who goes- oh wait. He can't hear or see me. But he's looking right at me-" The hyena said while staying in his position.

"Oh I can see AND hear you. Now tell me-" "AAAH! A Soul Catcher! Run run ruuun!" The hyena dissapeared into thin air, and the barrier disappeared. Kole stared blankly at the spot the hyena was in and said, "That... was easier than I thought."'

Back on the ground, Conner said, "Ok... so Bella turned Claudius into a child... and took all of his memories!?" Blaze broke a rock and said, "Do we have to tell you the whole story again?" Conner said, "No no... I just can't believe this..."

A few seconds later, Kole appeared next Blaze and said, "The barrier is gone." Conner looked behind him and said, "Well would you look at that. You actually did it." Blaze said, "Now we have to go. See you around Conner." Conner's face turned into a frown and he said, "Yeah. See you."

After Kole, Ice, and Blaze found a small town, they returned to the others. Soon, they went off to the town to the west. During the trip, Mr. Nafario asked Kole, "So what happened to you today without my assistance?"

Kole knew what he was talking about, so he said, "There was shadow in the form of a hyena that used magic to surround a huge tower. Someone named Conner-" "Wait, you three saw Conner!? He was banished to the sky mountains! Blaze, is this true?"

Blaze looked back at Lark and stopped the group from moving any further. Then he said, "Yes. We saw Conner. He wasn't a threat at the time until he found out that Kole forgot his entire life." Edward's expression filled with worry. He said, "I was afraid of this. He shouldn't even be alive."

Blacksmith, Ice, and Kole watched as the five other animals talked to each other about Conner. Blacksmith whispered into Kole's ear, "This Conner character seems suspicious. It's best that you stay away from him for now on." Kole nodded in agreement and announced, "We should get going. The sun will set soon."

Mr. Nafario looked at the sun and shouted, "Ack! He's right! Let's go go go!" Finally, the group kept moving forward, and made it to the large town called Berkshire.
