51 Grand ball (part 1)

"He said, he'd like to see you at the grand ball wearing that set of jewelry he sent you."

At Merek's words, Ara was speechless. Was Hamon indirectly saying he wanted her to be the most beautiful at the grand ball?

'I don't really know how the Prince's brain works!'

Ara had no expectations for herself from the beginning and she didn't want any sort of attention on herself at the grand ball by wearing such expensive necklace!

"I hope his highness doesn't expect much from me?"

"I don't know about that." Merek replied with his usual stony expression.

Ara strode to her desk to get a pen and a paper then wrote, [ I can't keep the necklace, please take it back] she folded it , then gave it to Merek,

"Give this to His Highness."

"I'll give his highness the letter, but only when he gets back from his trip."

"Trip? Where did he go?" Ara asked with narrowed eyes.
