"Good morning." Nian Tian opened her eyes, feeling disturbed because of Mu Yuehan's intense gaze. Her voice was hoarse because of all the screaming which she did last night.

"How are you feeling?" he tucked her hair behind her ears and looked at her with gentleness.

She nudged her head against his chest and closed her eyes. Mu Yuehan took a deep breath and closed his eyes. His demon was again on the surface, ready to claim her but she needed rest.

"What's it?" she asked and raised her head from his chest.

Mu Yuehan moved. He opened the bedside drawer. He retrieved a jewellery box and placed it in front of Nian Tian's eyes.
