Why Parrot is green in color?

Long time ago, there was a parrot. It had no color. Parrot was very sad.

One day parrot flew to a very beautiful garden. He landed up near a branch of tree.

Suddenly, parrot heard a sound as if someone was calling him. Parrot looked here and there but he couldn't see anyone.

Parrot asked from where the sound was coming. It heard the sound coming from branch of tree. When parrot looked closely, it saw a chameleon sitting on a branch tree. Chameleon was brown in color same as color of the branch.

Parrot said, "Hey I couldn't see you as you look so similar to the branch".

Chameleon said, "But I was looking at you and calling you. You look sad. What happened?".

Parrot looked at chameleon as his friend as it was so concerned about parrot and parrot said, "Hey atleast you have some color, may it be brown. But I have no color. My life is so boring."

Chameleon tried to lend a helping hand and said, "Hey beautiful you, don't say like that. Can I be if any help to you?".

Parrot looked at chameleon with all its heart and said, "How can you help me?".

Chameleon said, "If I use my powers then I can give you some colors." Parrot looked happy over his new friend's reply.

Chameleon said, "Can you see there is do much greenery around us? Let me jump over the grass on the ground and then you see my magic."

As soon as chameleon jumped over grass. It started turning green in color due to its magical powers and then it called parrot on the grass. Parrot was surprised to see his new friend turning into green color. Parrot got some hope.

Chameleon on the grass hugged it's new friend parrot and parrot too started turning green in color. After sometime, parrot became green in color.

"Oh what a beautiful bird you have turned into." Chameleon said.

Parrot was so delighted to have its new friend and new green color. He thanked its friend chameleon and promised to be with him for his life.

And that's how parrot got its green color :)
