Chapter 1= Why

As I walk the halls of light and dark, I can only hope of seeing the sky clear into the night. The classrooms are magic all around with light and dark heavy and small. I'm in the middle of it all but why am I me? I went into my classroom with my bestfriends since elementary school my first friend Veronica was very gentle but also vicious like a tiger my second friend her name was Sarah a very sweet girl but like Veronica sweet but gentle. In our world you can be one of two things light or dark not in the middle. Most of my classes we're teaching us how to deal with light magic but never dark I wondered why when our world was filled with many types of magic. I wonder why when they only taught us to consider peace and Evil or war and love. Why just two magics, why do I have grey magic? I asked this question to my history of magic teacher but he said "That's impossible there is only two types of magic. If you have something thats in the middle you need to go to the ward where they deal with mistakes in the system". After he said that I put my hand down along with my head. The other students began to question me because I never shown my magic to anyone other then my family. The bell rung and I ran to my next class, Lucky my next class was science and we basically had to mix chemicals to get a reaction but when I walked into the classroom there were no chairs or desk. My teacher told us that we are going to show off our magic to the entire class. My firends were excited because they have light magic and everyone else was excited also but me. Like I said I have grey magic but my mom and dad work for the government meaning they have access to certain chemicals that can be accessed on black market. My mom and dad always knew my situation so they gave me these pills that can change my magic color to dark magic. Anyways I told my teacher I had to go to the bathroom and she told me to hurry up I ran to the bathroom and drank two pills then I went back to my classroom.
