3. In the Void

While watching his son dragging the Blood Tiger away, someone tore the space near Arthur, causing spatial fluctuations within the nearby space. If a high-level practitioner were to see this scene, they will definitely get shocked as this signifies something terrifying.

Being the current known peak strength of earth practitioner, it is by all mean a stage that only a talented few can enter. A thin hand emerged from the void tear, and gradually reveal a beautiful, thin figure with a refined, scholarly aura around her, behind her is a girl around twelve years of age, with long, luscious, wheat-blonde hair and a slanted eye with a golden pupil, small crimson red lips, a perfect face in every sense of words. Although a bit young, the girl is already developing curves in the right places. Last but not the least, the bearing carried by the girl seems as if she is an aloof goddess above everyone else, as if none was worthy of her glance.

"It's been a long while since we last met isn't it, Arty" the woman said with a cheerful tone in her voice, clearly someone who have known Arthur for a long time.

Hearing the origin as well as the tone of the voice, Arthur's hair couldn't help but stand on its very end. And for the first time in a while, the great Arthur Dragonbane revealed an emotion Grey never expected his father have.

Fear!!

Yes, the Arthur Dragonbane, literally the bane of even the titled strongest beings, the dragons, is shivering in fear as he heard the origin of that voice, and with a forced smile, along with a slightly sweating appearance, turned his head over the speaker and greeted.

"It has indeed been a while, senior sister"

The woman smiled, and her eyes turned into two slits, scaring the hell out of Arthur, those eyes, they are eyes that will oftentimes show up in his nightmares, eyes that still bring him bad feelings up to this very day, where his strength already far surpasses hers.

"Hoh, looks like this Arty is a bit scared of senior sister it makes this senior sister sad" she said as she faked some tears and weep it with her hands.

"How am I scared?! Since when was I scared of you?!" Arthur said agitatedly, and the senior sister looked at him sharply, in which he responded with straightening his back.

"Anyway, enough with the idle chit-chat, Lucia, come here and greet your uncle" the senior sister called to the little lady behind her, introducing her to Arthur.

The little lady looking as indifferent as she is from the start, walk in front and stopped, thinking that there was nothing to expect, she then proceeds to eye Arthur, and astonishment filled her eyes. She, who had been exposed to plethora of people since she was a child, had never encountered someone with such an overwhelming aura that it almost suffocates her despite the aura being suppressed. Quickly, she starts reassessing the man in front of her, someone who could be so overwhelming yet still warm and human at the same time, just what kind of existence is he?

Arthur smiled as he feels the gaze of the young lady, subsequently, he sent a mind transmission to his senior sister. 'It seems that I am being underestimated' he said with a wry smile on his face. Senior sister just shook her head and scoffed 'Well, she is the type that think she's above everyone else, so it's not really that surprising'.

"Lucia greets uncle" the little lady said.

Surprised with the greetings, Arthur just smiled and once again started talking to two of them. "This lady seems to be well mannered at the very least, and it seems you still carry on teaching someone of your lineage the proper etiquette of our school."

Senior sister just smiled while she heard her disciple being praised. They continue their idle chatter while Grey was in the forest, fending himself to survival.

"Enough with the idle chatter, I know you come here for something, or else master won't even allow you to come close to me and my son" Arthur asked as his carefree demeanor was gone in an instant, completely replaced by an unrestrained, domineering aura that completely suppressed everyone in the room. Lucia was surprised, but the senior sister still kept her cool.

"As expected from you, nothing can hide from your eyes" she smiled as she shook her head, her expression also gradually turns serious. "Five years ago, they started moving, attacking some of the forces under us" she then sighs before continuing "I actually think that they are already audacious enough to declare us as their equal, but to think that they would dare attack us". Senior sister's serious face gradually reveals a disdainful smile as she stated the latter part.

"Hoh, they are certainly audacious, but to actually dare attack us knowing that I am here, they might have certain reliance that brought them such confidence" Arthur deduced, then close his eyes for a while. After a while, he opened his eyes once again, within it shining a vicious light that will scare those familiar with him out of their wits.

"Five years, I will give them five years to prepare themselves, then I'll attack" he said as a terrifying crimson glint came from his eyes, all while revealing a ferocious smile not different from a hunter finding new prey.

'Isn't that too long of a time?" Senior sister frowned as she stared into Arthur, whom currently bear a helpless expression.

"You know that is quite impossible as of yet, the kid still needs to learn some things before I leave him" he said as he directed his gaze towards his son, his eyes possessing a complicated light.

Senior sister then looked at him, sighs and smiled before saying, "Good, leaving aside the issue of their attack, his training is also paramount since he's of your lineage, as for me, I will also train little Lucia here further" senior sister stops for a while and eyed her disciple before continuing "I am looking forward to when the two of them meet, I bet that will be quite the spectacle"

"Is he…" the senior sister stared beyond the nothingness that is the void, her vision arriving at the Azure Storm Core, right where Grey is, her face morphed into that of complete disbelief as to what she's seeing.

"He is" Arthur smiled as he looked at his senior sister's surprised face.

"Arthur, just what kind of monster have you nurtured your son into" she said in with a wry smile on her face as she watches the kid fighting peak World Core Stage beasts with one-star World Core Stage cultivation level.

Arthur just grinned widely, clearly quite proud of his son, when his eyes fell on Lucia "This little niece of mine is also not bad, reaching the Star Palace Stage at the young age of 10, and her combat prowess already seems to be approaching three stars, quite amazing" while his tone is praising, as someone whom have been with him since young, how can senior sister not know what is he really saying from those words. 'She's at the same age as my son yet she is one realm behind him, not to mention the difference in combat prowess.

"Humph!!" Senior sister just snorted while looking away.

The little lady, Lucia, starts to get confused about what the two elders are talking about.
