CHAPTER TWELVE: THE NEW CAR.

"Let's go." Assistant Zayn Hector said as he led the way and Kelly Channing followed him.

Assistant Zayn Hector led Kelly Channing to the parking lot.

Their reflections could be seen on the marble floor under them.

There were many cars parked in the parking lot.

Most of them belonged to the workers of the company.

They walked over to a car which was parked near Assistant zayn Hector's car and there she found a berry blue audi SUV car.

"Such a big car!" Kelly Channing exclaimed.

"Why? Are you shocked?" Zayn Hector asked.

The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun.

The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground.

The slanting rays of gave a warm orange tinge to the sky.

Kelly Channing was now on the road driving Xavier Nolan back to his house.

Assistant Zayn Hector had already given her the location and time taken to arrive at Xavier Nolan's house.

Kelly Channing was tired from the day's activities and decided to drive faster than usual.

She wanted to ensure she had dropped off Xavier Nolan at his house before night had fallen and drives back to her house to rest.

Because of the fast driving Xavier Nolan who was seated on the passenger's seat was uncomfortable.

He started to remember the day that the roads were slick and wet as Xavier Nolan tried to drive as fast as he could without attracting attention from the police.

The hospital was fifteen miles away and Nora Jabari closed her eyes to forget about the awfully long time it was taking to get there.

Xavier Nolan again started to cry,Kelly Channing first braked the car and started driving slowly again.

She picked up her cellphone from her purse which was in the glove compartment.

She glided her forefinger across the screen and got access to the mobile phone.

She pressed the green icon on the screen and dailed Assistant Zayn Hector's phone number on the keypad that was provided.

It actually took some minutes before Assistant Zayn Hector answered the phone call.

"Hello?" He asked on the other side of the phone waiting for Kelly Channing to talk.

"Does Xaiver Nolan usually cry when one drives the car very fast?" She asked.

"Yes,it's because he remembers the day that he drove very fast but could not save Nora Jabari's life and that's why he cries."Assistant Zayn Hector answered.

"And what do to make him to stop crying?"

"Just drive him slowly home and see to it that he is not crying by that time or you will have to be left in his house until the time he will stop crying." Assistant Zayn Hector answered and hung up on the phone.

Kelly Channing did as she was instructed by Assistant Zayn Hector but luck was still not on her side and it seemed she would have to arrive at her home late again since her boss, Xavier Nolan had not yet stopped crying.

She helped him out of the car and into his house.

His living room was luxurious with sleek living room lamps that were hanging from the ceiling.

There was a tar black sectional sofa where she first helped him to.

She poured him a glass of water from the jug containing water and glasses arranged on the glass table before her.

Next to the jug containing water there was a glass flower vase and a potrait of Xavier Nolan and Nora Jabari.

In the photo Xavier Nolan was smiling hapilly and Kelly Channing could now see his girlfriend and the main reason why he was still crying even after her death.

"Here," Kelly Channing said as she handed Xavier Nolan the glass of water but he did not seem like he wanted to drink it.

"I am not thirsty," he replied.
