CHAPTER SEVEN: NOSTALGIA

Everyone could not believe how beautiful she was dressed in a jade black sweetheart neckline off shoulder mermaid dress made of aplica wool with some glitter on it so it gleamed in the lights.

A jam red lipstick and a simple crepe pink blushes on her cheeks with fuscia pink eyeshadow,a pair of bronze glittery tassel earrings and a pair of jade black glittery stilettos.

Her hair was left to cascade freely on her back being separated,half of it lying on the left hand side of her head and the other half of lying on the right hand side of her head.

Felix Walker aporoached where Xavier Nolan was and they clinked their wine glasses.

"Are you not Xavier Nolan, the most successful young and handsome businessman in town?" Felix Walker asked.

There are so many things you do not know about me," Xavier Nolan told him. He emptied his glass.

"More wine?" Felix Walker asked.

"Well..." He said,seeming to hesitate.

"One more,perhaps," Felix Walker said smoothly.

"Why not?" Xavier Nolan said,laughing hapily.

It was almost midnight and Kelly Channing was in the tar black SUV car waiting for Xavier Nolan but she could not see any signs of him getting out of the hotel.

Some of the other invitees were leaving the hotel in their luxurious cars to their flashy homes.

Finally,Xavier Nolan came out of the room while staggering.

Kelly Channing rushed out of the car and went to where the young man was standing.

Kelly Channing took Xavier Nolan by his hand and led him to the car while he was staggering almost making Kelly Channing to loose her balance but she persevered it all.

But before they could arrive,Xavier Nolan came to a sudden halt and turned his body around.

He stared deeplt into Kelly Channing's eyes and the sudden nostalgia came back.

He remembered the time when he was with Nora Jabari near the carousel and they were taking pictures together just like he was now with the exact replica of Nora Jabari but no special memories were formed.

Xavier Nolan let out a loud scream, loud enough to awaken the dead as he thought of the day Nora Jabari was hit by a van and the last words she told him as she was bleeding perfously like a leaking pot is that she hoped he would one day find someone else like her to love him.

After saying the statement,Nora Jabari smiled at Xavier Nolan who was weeping bitterly at the time.

Nora Jabari glanced at Xavier Nolan and she felt the panic on his face as he tried to help her to her feet.

Unbeknownst to her,Nora Jabari's water had broken on the way to her car.

Her heart started racing as she could feel fear seep into her pores and she clutched her stomach which was now bleeding perfously now even more than before.

The roads were slick and wet as Xavier Nolan tried to drive as fast as he could without attracting attention from the police.

The hospital was fifteen miles away and Nora Jabari closed her eyes to forget about the awfully long time it was taking to get there.

Suddenly, tears sprang to her eyes as a searing pain hit her straight in the abdomen.

They arrived at the hospital at exactly 5:00 p.m. and Nora Jabari was carried out of the car and placed on a gurney.

Nurses tended to her as she was wheeled toward the emergency room.

Pain racked her body as she openly cried out in pain, tears running down her cheeks.

The doors to the operation room were closed by a nurse.
