CHAPTER FOURTEEN: XIENA DESIGNER.

"Do you remember about the meeting with the  Xenia Designer that I had told you about?" Xavier Nolan asked her.

Kelly Channing nodded her head in acceptance.

"We are going to discuss our terms on the cooperation tomorrow, go and read through this document, note the necessary points down and write some brief history about our company." Xaiver Nolan said. He handed Kelly Channing a booklet in which the terms and conditions of their co-operation with Xenia Designer were contained.

"Is there anything else that you would want to be done?" Asked Kelly Channing.

"No, you may leave." Said Xaiver Nolan then waved his hand to dismiss her. Kelly Channing walked to the glass doors. She pushed the doors aside and walked out of the office then closed the doors behind her as she walked to her office.

Xaiver Nolan was left to wonder how he would dress for the important meeting that was there the day after.

Kelly Channing was just from the water dispenser to get a cup of warm water. As she was walking back to her office. She saw Quetzalli Axel catwalking down the hallway to Xaiver Nolan's office.

She was dressed in a light plum plunging bishop sleeved shirt, am ivory box pleated skirt and in white d'orsay pumps. She had carried a pearl pink mini bag. A pair of diamond drop earrings hanged from her ears, a silvery necklace on her neck and a white leather wrist watch. Her hair had been tied up in a high bun.

'What a beautiful lady, such a waste that Xaiver Nolan does not show any affection to her.' Kelly Channing thought.

She disappeared into the office in front of Kelly's office.

[INSIDE XAIVER NOLAN'S OFFICE.]

"Xaiver Nolan sweetheart, I am here with a message to deliver from your mother." Quetzalli Axel said gleefully. She walked to Xaiver Nolan's desk and helped herself to a chair that was just directly opposite to his.

Xaiver Nolan had fixed his eyes on the computer that was in front of him. He was busy typing an important article that was to be published by his company at the end of each and every month.

"Why are you not talking to me? Did I annoy you somewhat?"

"Nothing. I just view you as an obstacle to my work." Xaiver Nolan replied.

Quetzalli Axel took out of her purse two tickets to a theatre and placed one in front of Xaiver Nolan.

"Your mother asked me to ask you out and if you do not attend she will punish you because she will also be there with your father." Quetzalli Axel said confidently.

"If I do not attend she will punish me? What if I attend with another lady apart from you? Will she still punish me?"  Xavier Nolan had already switched his attention to Quetzalli Axel. He had fixed his scrutinizing gaze to her.

Quetzalli Axel firstly looked at the large windows which brought larger streams of sunlight into the room then looked back at Xaiver Nolan.

"That depends on her." She replied while smiling. She knew very well that Xaiver Nolan's mother, Maeve Parker was the one who had directed Quetzalli Axel to Xaiver Nolan. It all depended on Quetzalli Axel to make Xaiver Nolan fall for her.
