CHAPTER FOUR: I DO NOT OWN A CAR.

Besides, there were two small pieces of lawson sofas that were set on the corner of the room for the guests and a coffee table placed in between them.

The lighting system was very well and there are some hidden lights that were used when Xavier Nolan watched documentaries on his computer or chat with his guests.

The CEO's office was also well decorated with some small potted plants and they raised the beauty of the room as well.

As soon as Xavier Nolan and Assistant Zayn Hector got into the room.

Kelly Channing closed the frosted glass doors behind her which had the company's name and logo written on them.

Assistant Zayn Hector placed the briefcase on table and the coat on the coat rack in the CEO's office.

Xavier Nolan sat on the chair having crossed his legs and Kelly Channing stood before him as Zayn Hector went to make a cup of Americano for the CEO.

His gaze was fixed at the monitor which was reflecting some light on his face making him appear very handsome even than before.

The young man placed the hot cup of Americano on the desk and Xavier Nolan took a sip from it.

It was fresh and creamy.

He then placed it back on the desk.

Xavier Nolan took a cerulean blue file from the pile of them on the desk,flipped through it then threw it to where Kelly Channing was standing at the end of the other table.

"According to this company as my secretary,you must fulfil those rules and regulations." He said as he swinged from side to side on his swivel chair.

Kelly Channing took the file in her owm hands and flipped through it herself to confirm whether all the rules were sensible.

"Come and pick the CEO up whenever he has gone to a party and he is drunk?" Kelly Channing read the statement aloud.

"Yes! I sometimes get drunk after partying with friends and you as my secretary should come and pick me up. Like today." He answered truthfully.

"But I do not own a car?"

"Do not worry about that, your car will be ready by tomorrow." Xavier Nolan reassured Kelly Channing of all of her doubts.

She picked the candy red caran d'Ache pen which was laying freelyon Xavier Nolan's table and signed where necessary.

After that she passed the file over to Xavier Nolan.

"Your office is next to mine, make yourself feel at home." Xavier Nolan said to Kelly Channing.

She walked out of room locking the door behind her and into her own office.

"She is a different kind not unlike the others who refuse the offer just because of the rules and regulations."

Assistant Zayn Hector said.

"Just like Nora Jabari." Assistant Zayn Hector turned and said to Xavier Nolan who also thought the same way about Kelly Channing.

The room was well ventilated with the large windows.

The whole room was particularly painted in cobalt blue.

On the middle of the large table which was cobalt blue in colour,there was a monitor.

Next to the monitor was a pile of files and two water bottles.

On the opposite of the monitor was the LED table lamp which was next to the business telephone system.

Behind Kelly Channing's desk was a filing cabinet on the left side of the table and book shelves directly behind the swivel chair.

There was a cobalt blue cotton swivel chair in the room wity two others in front of her desk meant for guests.

Kelly Channing settled in the room as soon as possible and started settling up hee computer.

Xavier Nolan was about to close his eyes and relax when he heard a knock on the door.

Xavier Nolan snapped his eyes and sat up straight while still facing the window.
