CHAPTER FIVE: COME IN.

"Come in." He said and when he saw the other person, he stiffened his shoulders and the smile disappeared on his face.

"Xavier Nolan sweetheart, I've cooked hot chiken soup for you, why don't you try it?" A girl dressed in a pure white kneated turtleneck well fitted dress and a jet black belt tied around her waist with a arctic blue cropped denim jacket with a notched collar which was decorated with rhinestones and black knee high leather buckled boots entered the room carrying a white chained minaudière on her right hand and a hot pink hot dish on her left hand.

Xavier Nolan twirled his swivel chair around and saw Quetzalli Axel, the nagging annoying girl who always tried to make him fall for her appointed by his mother to pursue him.

Quetzalli Axel closed the door behind her and walked towards Xavier Nolan's desk with a pink hot dish in her hands.

Quetzalli Axel placed the hot dish on the table and opened it up.

"Why must you always bother me?" He asked her with his gaze fixed on her eyes.

"Am I not allowed to pursue the person I love?" She enquired from him.

"Xavier Nolan sweetheart,did you just get a new secretary?" Quetzalli Axel asked as she took out a small plastic spoon wrapped in a plastic paper from her minaudière.

"If you saw a living human being in the secretary's office then why ask senseless questions and anyways I'm not your sweetheart?" Xavier Nolan asked.

Quetzalli Axel unwrapped the plastic paper on the spoon and tossed it in the dustbin.

"Here," she said as she pushed the bowl closer to where Xavier Nolan was sitted.

Suddenly her cellphone rang and she removed it from her bag.

"Let me excuse myself and pick this call I'll be back." Quetzalli Axel said as she headed towards the door.

"Why don't you go forever and never come back?" Xavier Nolan asked.

"Oh, your mother informed me that today you have to attend a party and I should pick you up."

"No need,I've already hired a secretary."

"But none of the secretaries you have ever hired before has picked you up after parties?"

"How do you know that yet it's not like you followed me there. Or did you?"

"Absolutely not,I just had a wild guess."

She opened the door and got out of the room.

After the call she came back into the room and found Xavier Nolan still not taken the congee.

"Why don't you eat it before it gets cold?" She asked him

"I'm nor hungry and besides I love eating cold things." He replied.

"Is there anything else I can do for you Xavier Nolan sweetheart?" The Quetzalli Axel inquired.

Xavier Nolan thought for a while and then said, "No,you can leave now and never come back here ever again."

Xavier Nolan browsed through the files on his desk whole-heartedly and leaned against the chair with his hands crossed on his chest.

Quetzalli Axel opened the frosted glass doors to Kelly Channing's room.

She fixed her gaze on Kelly Channing before she went and hepled herself to a chair in front of Kelly Channing's desk.

"Are you the new secretary?" Kelly Channing asked.

Kelly Channing nodded her head in acceptance because she was not in the mood to speak.

"My name is Quetzalli Axel,Xavier Nolan's sweetheart." She said as she handed out her hand had a firm handshake with Kelly Channing.

Quetzalli Axel left the room and closed the door behind her.

"Does Xavier Nolan have another sweetheart after the death of Nora Jabari named Quetzalli Axel?" Kelly Channing asked as she still looked at Quetzalli Axel who was walking down the hallway.

Kelly Channing shrugged and continued on with her work.
