Troublemakers

"What do you think?" Yor asked after they entered the headquarters, many people were coming and going, and all were wearing formal clothing.

"About?" Wu Xue asked back.

"This shit," Yor snorted.

"Bah," Wu Xue snorted back, not bothering to give a proper answer.

"Don't act like the child you were, aren't you supposed to keep it a secret?" Yor sneered and purposely spoke in a high voice.

"Aren't you supposed to hide the fact you went to a brothel with me last night?" Wu Xue narrowed his eyes and also spoke so everyone could hear.

"You!" Yor panicked and looked around, as if afraid of someone listening.

"I remember you like that girl with–" Wu Xue was about to reveal more but Yor covered his mouth in panic.

"Okay, that's enough, damned clown!" Yor cursed, "I thought you were my friend!"

Wu Xue slapped his hand away and sneered, "You two-faced bitch!"

"Damn you!" Yor was enraged, "Did your parents not teach you to respect the old?"

"So you want to have your butt beaten?" Wi Xue threatened.

Just as they were about to begin a fight, someone approached them, it was Aria, who was wearing a beautiful long red dress, it complemented her charming demeanor.

"I hope you two contain yourselves this night," she said after a short sigh, "I can't believe I invited another troublemaker, there were rumors circulating about your actions last night."

"Heh!" Wu Xue looked at Yor with a mocking expression.

"Damn, what!?" Yor panicked.

"Someone is especially murderous," Aria said with a fake smile while looking at Yor, whose face suddenly turned white.

"Ahem, I suddenly remembered I had business in the body, goodbye," Yor said and ran away.

Aria shook her head and sneered, "He will be surprised when he arrives home."

Wu Xue clicked his tongue and mourned for a split second for his friend.

"You were no better!" Aria said with a frown, "You just arrived in the academy but already possess a shady reputation."

"Look at my face," Wu Xue pointed at his indifferent face, "Look at how much I care."

Aria face-palmed and was silent.

"Hey, we meet again," Rick approached them and greeted Wu Xue, "Are you adapting to the academy?"

"No comments just yet," Wu Xue smiled and shook hands with him, "But I guess there were fun people everywhere."

The neutral faction had weekly meetings like that, so it wasn't all about Wu Xue joining them. There were other matters, but Wu Xue didn't care too much about it.

After greeting and talking with a few new faces and important members, Wu Xue bid farewell to Aria and Rick and left.

But before returning to his residence, he smirked and went to Yor's residence. Just from approaching, he could hear Yor's screams of pain and Ivy's shouting curses.

Wu Xue shook his head and clicked his tongue a few times, "Poor fellow." Although he said that, he felt it was funny and that Yor deserved that.

He returned to his residence with Yor's screams sounding clearly in his mind.

"Women are scary..." he muttered with a shudder, "They can be as possessive as men, indeed. I wonder how father managed to keep the family from being divided, could it be that mother allowed? Or did he use other means?"

He didn't sleep at all during that night and instead used the time to reflect on human relationships and his future.

Although he was a comprehension genius and also quite strong compared to some kids his age, he was ultimately an adolescent and his hormones were intact.

Before, it wasn't that he wasn't attracted to other women, but that he somehow managed to hold his feelings back with his obsession over strength. But as he grew up, his hormones and feelings intensified and his heart was slowly turning tumultuous.

When the first rays of light shone the next day, he washed his face and wore a set of sportive clothing. He left the academy and began to fly around the capital on a tree's branch, he leisurely admired the surroundings as if seeing a work of art.

Some particularly strong mages sensed his presence and actions, but no one did anything about him since he wasn't causing trouble or entering restricted territories.

He had no purpose in flying around other than calming and emptying his mind from thoughts. When he felt he was okay, he returned to his residence and took a bath, although he didn't sweat a little bit.

After wearing another set of clothes and a long coat, he left for his classes.

It was just like the day before, he taught things and was praised by everyone. Nothing new, except for the last class.

The five most prominent students all looked at him strangely during his lesson, as if they wished to talk to him, but he didn't give them the opportunity until the lesson ended.

"Speak one by one, you first," Wu Xue sat on the professor's chair and pointed to Rudd, "You look like you are about to explode, speak your piece!"

"Why are you– I mean... can you teach me what you are teaching Jasmine?" Rudd got up from his seat and asked with a fervent voice.

"Speak," Wu Xue didn't answer him and instead pointed to Gus.

"I want to learn as well," Gus said in a calm but concentrated manner.

Wu Xue then looked at the rest.

"I'm the same as them," Eliz said.

"I too," Rose giggled.

"I..." Jasmine hesitated, "I want to ask in private."

The other four looked at her with disgruntled looks, as if unsatisfied. Jasmine ignored them.

"The answer for the four is no, I do not need to add more work for myself," Wu Xue shook his head, "And the answer for Jasmine is, let's go to the experimental grounds."

"Please, teach us," Rudd suddenly kneeled, "I really want to know more."

"I already said that I will be teaching you the things I'm teaching Jasmine right now, but later," Wh Xue frowned, "Get up from the ground if you don't want to be glued to it. I mean it."

Rudd was afraid and jumped from the ground.

Wu Xue sighed and looked at the rest of the class, the rest of the students were watching the scene with mixed expressions.

"Does anyone have anything to say to me?" Wu Xue said in a high voice.

No one spoke, and thus Wu Xue left the classroom without even bothering to see if Jasmine was behind.

'This class has talents, but no fun at all,' he muttered in his heart.

On the training (experimental) grounds, Jasmine asked him, "Am I going crazy?"

"That's a fun question," Wu Xue stared in surprise, "You aren't, but you are.

"It's just a temporary state caused by intrusive thought provoked by the last information imparting," Wu Xue explained.

"You will return to normal soon, probably."

"Probably?" Jasmine's face turned dark.

"Just stay calm, even if you go crazy, I can still cure you, probably," Wu Xue waved his hands and gestured for her to sit down on the same cushion as before.

Jasmine sat down cross-legged and tried to calm her turbulent heart and mind.

"Let me teach you something valuable," Wu Xue suddenly pressed her forehead with his hand and smiled, "Chaos is not chaos, Order is the Truth."

His hand suddenly glowed with a black and white light and Jasmine felt like her turbulent thoughts began to calm down. Not only that but she also began to understand many things she was confused about her intrusive thoughts.

What she thought was just random and crazy thoughts, actually had causes to them. She began to understand both her thoughts and their origins.

When Wu Xue took his hand off her forehead, she was considerably calmed, despite not being fully okay.

"Seeing your reaction, I must commend your good disposition," Wu Xue chuckled with a hint of appreciation, "In at most two days everything will return to normal."

"I see..." Jasmine sighed in relief, but at the same time... her heart turned complex, she looked at Wu Xue and asked, "Do you really believe in those things?"

"If I doubted it, my energy would already have rioted and I would have died," Wu Xue shook his head and explained, "You must believe your path unwaveringly when cultivating your literary power, otherwise only doom will wait for you."

"But I... Don't agree with you, what must I do?" Jasmine asked with a deep frown.

"Find your inner literary path," Wu Xue smiled and flicked her forehead, "I didn't transfer a part of my knowledge and insights for you to copy me, but for them to be used as inspiration.

"If you try to follow the same path as another person, not only will you fall, but you will fall from a high height."

"I got it," Jasmine nodded, "Can I already condense my literary heart?"

"Sometimes you are dumb as a donkey," Wu Xue laughed, "Have you already forgotten everything I taught you? You are already in the process of forming it."

"Oh~" realization dawned upon Jasmine, "I get it now."

"Fortunately, otherwise I would have abandoned you for lack of enough predisposition," Wu Xue laughed.

"When you say 'predisposition,' do you mean talent?" Jasmine asked.

"Yeah, but I don't like the definition of that word," Wu Xue nodded, "Nothing we have, nothing we were born with is because we deserve it somehow.

"But because, for some reason beyond human control, we are gifted with the fate of possessing them."

"I once heard someone saying something similar," Jasmine said with light in her eyes, "I find it very interesting."

"Is it?" Wu Xue smiled strangely, "But another interesting thing is that you–

"No, never mind," Wu Xue shook his head and thought in his heart, 'Why curse another one with this damned truth? It's better to be ignorant!'

Jasmine wanted to ask more, but she saw the unwillingness in Wu Xue's face, so she stayed silent for that, and instead asked, "What should I do now?"

"Well, until you fully form your literary heart, I plan to teach you more common sense," Wu Xue said and frowned, "But I guess I will need to speak with my mouth for this since your mind is still quite unstable for me to directly transfer more knowledge."

Wu Xue then sat on the ground beside her, but he wasn't cross-legged. Instead, he took a jug of wine from his space wine and took a sip from it, "Let me begin with this, what is the limit for a literary practitioner."

From then until two hours later, Wu Xue taught a few things to Jasmine, and she attentively listened to the best of her abilities, despite her turbulent mind sometimes causing trouble.

When Wu Xue felt it was sufficient, he left for his own residence and didn't bother to accompany his student to her residence even though he was responsible for keeping her in the academy until night.

He just thought it was unnecessary based on the academy's tight security.

That night, Wu Xue left his residence and went to seek Yor and see if he was still alive.

He secretly infiltrated his residence and saw an interesting scene.

Yor was alive, but his body was full of bruises and his arm was broken, his face was black and blue and Ivy was applying medicine to his wounds.

"Ouch!" Yor almost cried after Ivy applied medicine to a sore spot.

"Shut up!" Ivy said with a cold voice.

Wu Xue almost laughed but managed to contain himself and quit Yor's residence.

"Damn it, I wanted to have some fun with that old fart, but he is there being a weak man," Wu Xue cursed and thought about what he should do.

Of course, he could focus on his cultivation, but he was more inclined to have fun in novel ways. He had ample time to cultivate, but the world around him was full of novel things.

Suddenly, he saw four figures walking by the shadowy alleys between the academy's buildings, they were familiar to him despite their disguises.

'Are they up to mischief?' Wu Xue was interested and began to follow them in secret, he found it funny how the four wore full black clothing.

'Do they really think it will help?' Wu Xue almost laughed out loud, 'Three mages were observing them right now with their magical senses.'
