Ragging

"Can't ignore big brother's lesson for a day even?" 

"No, you have lived your life as a mature girl till now, now it's time to live as my cute little sister who is only 18 gets it?"

"Yes sir!" Serene obediently shouted as a soldier.

Harry chuckled lightly and continued "Now come back if your classes are done!"

"Okay bro-" She stopped in the middle and looked up towards the group of people who were coming towards her "Why group of people are coming towards me?"

"They must be there for ragging!" Harry nonchalantly replied, like he has been through it.

"Huh! But that's not allowed!" Ragging is illegal in college. 

"Well if you can ignore it, do it.." In his college life he ignored it too, though he faced trouble for a week but later he got his way out of it.

"I will try" She wanted to avoid it too but now she wanted to do something interesting.

"Hmm okay now bye I have a meeting" Harry got her excited tone by the receiver and knew what she was going to do.

"Hello seniors how may I help you?" Serene stood up from her chair and brightly smiled.

Initially she wanted to have fun at the end of her first day in college at the least. But when she got to know that, she had to hug someone stranger she denied at once.

She doesn't like to have intimate contact with a stranger. Yet she accepted it later when seniors told her that they will not let her stay in peace if she won't agree with them. 

She wanted to have fun loving years in college life, not fighting with bullies every other day. So she just accepted it, to end it fully. It was just a hug, she can do that much at the least.

"Are you looking that boy over there?" One of the seniors said while pointing towards the man standing in the park alone, maybe waiting for someone.

Serene saw his face which looked familiar but didn't mind. "Hmm..."

"You just need to hug him" Another senior impatiently said.

"That's it?" Serene asked to make sure that they won't exaggerate things when she will be done.

All seniors looked at her like she was an idiot, some stunned, some frowned, and some speechlessly "Do you know who he is?"

"A man? Or impotent?" Serene asked immediately. If that man is impotent, it would be easy for her

"So you don't know him?" Everyone asked at once.

"Naaah" She knew she was missing something but didn't want to stick to one point for that.

"That's great, that's your only task, nothing else," One of the girls immediately said.

"Great"

Serene went towards the man who looks around her age or Harry age but not older at all. She initially doubted to do this task because she sensed that this person is not someone one must encounter easily but when she thought about the task, she didn't find that hugging someone can be a big problem.

She went forward and all the seniors were looking intensely towards her, which she could easily feel because of her senses. Even after leaving orphanage Harry and Serene both never left the martial arts school and got their admission with Henry there by paying fees and as a gratitude towards their Sensai they invested a lot in that school too.

When she reached near to him, he moved away from her, like he already knew that she was coming for him. That can only be possible if he knew Martial arts. She didn't care about that part moving forward swiftly before he could understand that she also knew martial arts, she was already standing in front of him.

"Hiiiee" Serene energetically waved her hand in front of his face, not giving him any space to leave her side.

"What do you want?" He coldly asked. He already knew that she knew martial arts too. The swift action was a proof.

"A hug" Without thinking twice she replied immediately. Well that's what she actually wants.

"Wanna die!" His tone was actually saying 'i don't mind killing you'.

Serene shivered little by his coldness but her stubbornness didn't allow her to back off. And went forward to hug him forcefully.

Man noticed her moment. He was shocked for a second that the girl didn't back off even when he emit this deathly vibe but next second he got a hold of her wrist before she could touch him.

"You dare!" He hissed.

"Well yes because I want to complete the task given by my seniors otherwise they will bully me for the rest of years"

"Get your so called excuse with you and get away from me when I am asking you nicely. Don't force me to use violence." 

"Well I don't care if you find this an excuse or not but why don't we just hug it out casually and separate. What's a big deal!" Yeah hugging is not a big deal for today's kid, why make such a big fuss.

"I don't give a fuck if you find this a big deal or not but dare to touch me and I will sue you"

Serene took a step back and tried to get her wrist out of his hold "Woah man take it easy. It's okay if you don't wanna hug. I am leaving, leave my wrist"

He pushed her away. And turned around arrogantly.

Serene also turned around to go back but stopped a little bit far away from him and did something on her phone and ran back to the man and gave him a back hug and ran back towards the seniors.

It all happened in just 5 seconds maximum. If someone was not looking at them, they would just feel like she took a U turn with the speed of light.

After reaching to the seniors Serene started laughing heartily "Puff that was great... Hahaha" She stopped when she noticed that not a single senior was as happy as her. "What happened?"

After five minutes of silence, the 3rd year senior said "You are done girl, he will definitely kill you!"
