1 Orphan's

-"You are an orphan! Behave like one!"

-"Exactly, why does she even act so high and mighty all the time!" 

-"You are no one special out there and here, we are the one who are special and important"

-"Follow what we ask you to do otherwise you can't bear the consequences"

They pushed away the girl in mud. And laughed happily on her condition. They pushed her hard to hurt her in process but not a single mud splash out of the pit. No one noticed that but if someone focused on her falling, they would notice that actually the girl let herself fall leisurely on mud with no surprise on her face like she was actually waiting for this, this whole time. It was smooth landing.

Girl who looked around thirteen to fourteen year old, in loose jeans and shirt, sat up on the ground without minding the mud all over her body and face "Why do you have to bully me every other day, don't you have anything else to do man!" 

This is not something new to her, those girls are two or more years older than her that's why they like to overpower and bully other kids but in her case, she was always opposed to their bully to others, which resulted into this condition which is worse than others.

"You think you are special in our eyes or what, you are nothing more than a bitch who seduces other men for benefits..." A girl in black skirt and cute pink top said. 

In comparison to other girls who wear torn dresses or old faded cloth standing beside her, she looks way much better than others and is a head of the group.

When they were still abusing her, a voice came from behind them which scared the other girls and led them to run away. 

"Seren!" 

A boy looked little older than her, ran towards her with worry on his face, to again found her in a vulnerable situation. This time must be the 3rd time in a consecutive week. "What happened to you?"

The Girl looks aggrieved and very pit full to him which makes his heart tremble with fury against those girls earlier.

He knew what must have happened but again he couldn't help her today. 

Girl lightly stuck out her lower lips, with the feeling of being wronged. Expecting love and comfort from him.

Before she could say anything he again opened his mouth "Don't tell me. You again let them bully you?" He asked annoyingly.

Serene didn't reply and thought 'She must have expected a lot for today'. Hmph! Seeing no ounce of consolation from him, her upper lip twitched with no expectation "Well as you can see that Harry" She spread her arms to show him fully how dirty she is now.

Harry is one year older than her, and also an orphan like her lives in the same orphanage. He always tries to protect her from those bullies in orphanages and maybe that's why those people wanted to bully Seren the most.

But she never did something to hurt them, where she could, because she never likes to use violence with the weak one moreover she is kind of lazy too.

He slapped the back of her head forcefully, he doesn't get why she never retorts to those bullies where she can beat the shit out of them.

"Ohhhh" She glared at him deathly and rubbed her head in pain.

Giving no importance to that glare he yelled again "How many times do I have to tell you that ignore them or fight back sneakily. But no, you always let them have a bigger hand. In future if I saw you like this again, the next one who will bully you physically will be me!"

She make a pout as a spoilt girl with discontent all over her face "So mean, instead of helping me out of this mud, you are yelling at me Boohoo" 

He kicked her leg instead "Get up at once."

With no choice she stood up on her own. "Humph, that's why Henry loves me the most" She scoffed and walked away from her cold hearted friend.

Harry ran fast to stop her from going back "Where are you going? Do you want to be yelled at by the warden too! You are all in dirt and we don't have water in the orphanage for you to bathe a second time. Stay like this whole day, you can't be helped with this" 

In an orphanage water is limited for everyone and the timing to use it is also mentioned so that no one messes around with water.

"I know what's new in this. This happens every week now. I was just going to the public park to get some water to wash my hand and face at the least." Without giving him a second glance she went forward in annoyance.

"Well actually you deserve this" he shouted loudly so that the person far away can hear him clearly.

"You better don't show me your face today" She yelled back and ran away.

"Whatever" Harry murmured. 

He knew he was rude to her but she needed this punishment.

But he is really angry this time. Well he should be. Serene and Harry learned Martial arts since they were 9 and 10 respectively. They didn't have money to get a coach that time but had interest in it. That's why they used to sneak into that martial art academy to learn it and practice at night. But after 1 years they were caught sneaking around by other kids but by seeing both dedication towards martial art the Sensai 'Teacher' allowed them to get in without fee. Since then they are way too good from normal other kids.

And suffering from bullying is something everyone should be embarrassed about. He also doesn't want to use his strength in front of a weak person but he can't help when he sees her in that condition. They know how to sneakily protect themselves without letting anyone know but he also know that those bullies won't be satisfied if they don't get the satisfactory result and will try more bad things to them and it's way much better than being attacked one time than a number of times in a day.

They don't want anyone from the orphanage to know about their strength. Moreover the moment she did anything against those bullies those people would complain against her. And the hatred Warden has against her will be used again to punish her. Like not giving her food or punishing her to do all those household work alone.

One of the bullies who is head of them, is actually warden's daughter so he always supports her by anyhow, which always makes things hard for Serene only. He hates this orphanage but they can't go anywhere. He, Serene and his younger brother Henry need this for livelihood.
