Decided to help her

Serene's eyes narrowed with doubt. Roya right now looked desperate and honest. Although she was more like an evil witch before, however her begging was genuine and it shows how much she must have suffered.

But the person who made her suffer was her father. Serene clearly remembers Mr. Simon. After meeting Sam, she finds it hard to believe that Riya is actually his daughter. He was too humble and kind compared to Riya. 

But now Riya is talking about him, as if he is a totally different person. Someone she never met before. It was confusing her a lot.

Serene's eyes wavered. She didn't know what to say. She is not a nun who forgives such criminals so easily. However the thought of her being as the only victim of her, Serene couldn't help but bring the thought of compromising. 

Seeing Riya suffering was a different thing. But seeing just someone suffering because of her parents was different. She couldn't bring herself to say no. 

"What about fees? It's expensive." Serene asked.
