Why am I a side character

Of all the wild things that Asura had ever expected to be true ,he certainly didn't expect for the world he was living in to be a novel, neither did he expect to find a person from another world who had read the said novel trying invade his mind one day, however the thing he expected the least was: " Why the hell am I , the prince of the greatest empire in the world, who is hailed as the greatest genius since the strongest king in the history of said empire, just a side character that didn't even make it into the original story?" Follow Asura as he uses his talents and his knowledge of the future to navigate his way to become the strongest the world has ever seen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (A/N ; This is the first story I have ever written and as such, might contain some small errors. Regardless, I promise I will try my best to minimize these errors. Please Enjoy. Btw, the harem won't be more than 6, so sorry if that's too much or too little.)

Escape

~~??~~

The shadow dungeon.

The prison that was said to be the most tightly secured in the entirety of Atsolaes. A place where mana didn't work and in which walls were too tough to be broken by only aura and a place from where there was only one recorded breakout since it had been built.

In one of the deepest cells of the dungeon---

"What the hell is going on ?"

A red-haired young boy who looked no older than 16 exclaimed as he grasped his head in pain.

A few moments ago , it felt like something had sneaked into his soul and now , his head was beginning to hurt worse than the time his instructor threw a fucking boulder on his head for the purpose of "toughening him up".Yeah, fucking psycho.

Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind. Was someone trying to....steal his body ? He had heard of techniques that allowed someone to seize someone else's body , but he thought that was just a myth.

That thought made him want to just give up and accept his fate, but he suddenly flared all his aura and decided that if he was going down, he was at least gonna go out after a fight.

As he flared his aura, his blue eyes slowly turned red, his hand turned into a claw and 2 blood red wings with a black outline sprouted from his back. After a few minutes, his headache seemed to settle down and he slowly returned to his original form. At the moment, he was very confused. Wasn't it said to be almost impossible for someone to save themselves if an expert used the body seizing technique on them ? Then, how was he still in control?

A few moments later, he realized the reason as a flood of information suddenly hit his brain. It turned out that the one who tried to take over his body wasn't some grand expert who was trying to take control of his body after fleeing with only his soul and leaving his body after a fierce battle. Nope. It was just some loser. Some loser from some other world who spent his whole life cooped up in a room watching something called anime and reading light novels every day, with no success in any field, died a pathetic loser after getting hit by something called a car, and somehow ended up getting his soul transported to another world. And to think he would have given his body to this waste of space if he gave up earlier. The thought involuntarily made him shudder.

Now, the thing that shocked him the most was not the information of a different world, he already knew that other worlds existed, nor was it the fact that a soul from said world somehow found its way into his body. No, what shocked him the most among the memories, was a book, a novel to be more precise. It took place in a place called Atsolaes, and in the book it stated that the king of Atsolaes was Abilash Alekerth and the queen was Diana Bloodfallen. At some point, it also showed the execution of the prince, Asura Bloodfallen Alekerth, alongside his mother Diana, on the first day of the year 18796.

Why did that surprise him? Well, not sure, but maybe, just maybe it was because he was Asura Bloodfallen Alekerth, the son of Abilash Fafnir and Diana Bloodfallen and tomorrow was the first day of the year 18796. How the hell does the prince of the greastest empire in the entire universe, who was also hailed as the greatest genius since the strongest king in the history of Atsolaes end up a side character that died before the original story even started in a fucking novel? The memories of the novel also gave him the reason as to why he and his mother were captured and would be executed the next day.

So, getting over his existential crisis as he was apparently a character in some novel, Asura began to search his memories for ways to escape his current predicament. Then, he finally found it. A way to escape the cell. In the novel, when the main character was put in a cell, he found that in each cell, there was a secret passage that led to a smaller world. The King put a passage to a small world in the place that people least expected them to be, the cells in the dungeon. The only problem was, each of those passages were locked and also hidden away.

He knew where the passages were because of the novel, but the novel didn't show the way to unlock the passages. He immediately went to a corner of the ceiling and lightly touched the ceiling. Then instead of the anti mana metal (Urz) that the cell was made up of, a part of the Urz near the corner of the ceiling disappeared and turned into a magic barrier.

'Now, what can I do for the magic barrier? Wait. Why the hell is the magic not being nullified by the Urz touching it ?' Asura thought

'There are only be two possibilities, either the metal near the barrier was not urz, which is most likely not true, even though urz is a rare metal, the royal family should not have any shortage of it and they would most likely not use any another metal since then, anybody would be able to escape easily by using mana or by breaking it by using aura. The second possibility would be that the barrier wasn't a magic barrier but a barrier made from something else. Something that seems similar to magic, but doesn't get nullified by urz. Spirit energy, maybe?' Asura thought

'If that's the case, shouldn't i be able to break it using enough aura? Did those idiots seriously bet on it that nobody would figure it out and just not use aura due to the fear of the counterattack from the magic barrier?'. The barrier, at first glance looked like a counterattacking barrier that would counterattack with twice the force if it was attacked with aura. But, if anyone figured out that the barrier wasn't what it looked like, they would easily get out.

Asura immediately covered his legs with aura, kicked open the barrier and went through it. As soon as he went past the barrier, Asura felt his consciousness fading away.

-After some time, in an Unknown place-

Asura slowly opened his eyes and immediately started looking around. The only thing he got was that he was probably in some smaller world and that he was lying on a bed in some room he didn't recognize. Yeah, not much information.

"Well well, It seems our little friend from Atsolaes is finally awake".
