14 They're Alive [2]

"how about we put this to a vote. We cannot stay here staring at the book for this long. Who knows if the green light means the book might even disappear? We all wouldn't want that to happen. Besides we need to do this for the people. The natural order has to be restored, otherwise, we're all dead anyway." Another suggested.

While putting everything to a vote was the noblest thing to do at the moment, they still needed to check around for any harm.

"wait, before we do anything, we need to first perform a spell to discharge any impurities that may be pr may have not been attached to the book. Eighteen years is a really long time." The other warlock claimed.

They were all right they needed to do all that but first, they needed to make sure that there was no harm surrounding the book that was supposed to make them feel better. The needed to make certain that everything would be okay if they made the ook. They were eventually going to open it. After all, the pull was so hard that they would neo resist it for that long. They needed to do this.

After what seemed like forever, they eventually agreed to open the book. This was after they had confirmed that there was nothing wrong with it. Thye had already made certain that it was safe, and even though this was a long shot, they had to do it anyway. Finally, they opened the book.

The book that had had them anxious, and unsure for what ad felt like centuries, they had finally managed o open the darn book that would hold the keys to their kingdom, and their eirs. This was the only way, and the contents of the book were proof of it.

When the book opened, the first letters they saw were her. It may have been Hera or Hermes, neither of the warlocks new, but something that was certain about was that the children had survived. That was something they would be happy about later, that was something they would appreciate when they actually met the duo.

They were wondering whether they had started exhibiting the transformation sigh. Surely they must have if they had their wolves, but that was common in the werewolf world. Each was had a wolf that would keep them sane, and seeing as the full moon was almost here the duo must have started feeling them.

Focusing on the book, they saw two dots, on something that looked like a map. From what they could see, the dots were moving in the same direction they were headed in the same direction. It looked like they were all going to the orphanage they had been dropped at.

Looking closely this was what would be happening the following day. This book was used to tell the future of the rulers, and not what they were doing at that time. If that were so, then they needed to beat the duo at the orphanage. They needed to go there before they came because that was the only way theory would confirm.

To finalize the instructions in the book, there was a green amulet inside the book. But the amulet was split in two. It would only ever be made into a whole amulet if, and only if the true leaders made contact with it, and this could only happen if the tattoos had already been completed, the tattoos were the names of the duo.

They were Hera, and Hermes, and combined, the names would transform into two halves of wolves. If Hera and Hermes were truly found, then the tattoos would merge into one at their first encounter. If that didn't happen, then they would be having incomplete tattoos, and it would all have been meaningless.

Excited for their new adventure, the high warlock and his team set out to go to st Martha's orphanage to look for their lost leaders. The rest of the warlocks had to stay and guard the empty kingdom.

It really was pitiful that what was once a home was reduced to something that neither of them could make any sense of. Either way, they were tasked with protecting the kingdom, whether or not the wolves were her. That was the company they had received from the moon guessed, and they had been taught the fro birth, and they were not going discover that today.

If the high warlock wanted, he could have just spiraled into the orphanage, but seeing as the kids would be there the following day, and at night, they had no reason to hurry, after all, thy were faster, and could make it in less than half a day, there was no need for them to make moves that fast.

They needed to be sure, and make everything okay.

The wolves were antsy. They started feeling the links to their leaders even though they had never seen them, and even if they saw them the cloaking spell that had been cast on the children would never allow them to sense it.

The spell would only be broken on their eighteenth birthdays since that was the only time that they would be able to fully transform into their true nature.

If either of the children had died during their growth, then another child would be chosen and would live in the castle with the warlocks. This was so that such phenomenons would be avoided in the future. But then that hadn't happened, and they were here the kids had survived even though they were unaware that in the next forty-eight hours their lives would change so drastically.

The next six hours were south for the warlocks, and when they reached the orphanage, they were easily recognized. Other than the aura around them, it did help that some of the workers at the orphanage werewolves.

Clearly, it would be easy for them to get in.

A wolf would always be below a warlock, and even if the natural order had been distorted, nothing would change.

Everything would stay the same.

Because after all, power, is power.
