Work! Work! Work!

The next day ~

"Ms. Julia, I need 20 photocopies for this file and also included this file to the drawer with this paper attached to the 5 photocopies, okay? Later on give me the 15 photocopies once you are done. If you don't see me on my desk, just put it on top."

Ivy said hurriedly while looking at the watch on her wrist and carrying a bunch of files on her hand, seemingly busy for the day ahead.

"Ah, okay.." Ivy didn't even had a chance to hear Lia's response when she disappeared into the elevator.

'Phew.. what a hectic day ahead.'

Lia thought to herself while walking towards the printing machine. She didn't complain though unlike others would usually do. Being an intern here is part of the training in the company. And being an intern is an important step for all rookies. So complaining would just waste one's energy. That's what Lia thought to herself.

She's smart and rational for a reason. And that is one reason why she was good in her job in the past. Uh-oh don't underestimate our lead yet. Her job wasn't simple in the past. She was also well known in the business industry. But all of that she was willing to leave behind and start anew. The reason? We all don't know.

While the printing machine is working its job, Lia sat down to her desk that is located just beside it. She turned on the computer, not used to seeing the wallpaper on the screen. She used to be very busy in front of the computer typing and reviewing files, making presentations and such but now all she could see is the blank wallpaper of the computer.

"How nostalgic..."

Lia lifted her lips up seemingly thinking about her past life. All she could remember was her working day and night, getting home, cook and eat, read some novels, sleep. That was her daily routine. She could describe her past life as a very dull life. Well, you could say its true after all she was like a robot working and working.

Looking around the office made her reminisce her workaholic past self. She had a boring life in which only circled around work and work. Although the pay was good it wasn't enough to buy her happiness.

She puts a hand on top of her eyes.

"It's fine...we are starting anew Lia, we are starting anew."

She heaved a sigh of relief and got back to her energetic self once more.

But then, a voice sounded behind her.

"Uhmmm... Lia don't be sad, it's just really Ms. Ivy's way of doing. Don't be sad or dismayed she gave you too much work, okay? Here's a juice to liven you up."

Anna spoke and gave her an orange-lemon juice. She walked off after leaving a pitiful smile on her direction.

"Wha--"

Lia doesn't know what to feel at that exact moment. She could just awkwardly give a smile as a reply.

My, my she got misunderstood....
