Dustan felt torn.

Although he was dying to find out how Litch seemed to know about him and Kari Faust, he was almost willing to let it go after this stunt. Dustan didn't know how Litch managed to do it, but he knew the man had certainly manipulated the situation to reach to this conclusion.

That slightly smug grin on his face, directed at Dustan, seemed to confirm this.

What a terrifying man. Dustan thought to himself.

Bowing his head slightly, Dustan immediately replied. "I will be honored to do so, Master."

Hund was obviously displeased with this. But as Kari had already ordained so herself, things were pretty much set on stone.
