First day of work seeing through the lies

Edward now asked Frank to take him to a gun store in midtown. He had been interrogated avisited the evidence room at the police station earlier in the morning, he noticed that the bullets were aak-5 strokes. They were specially made for only one type of fire arm. The stripshot aak-v.

There was only one gun store that sold stripshot aak-v's in Brighton as well as the bullets. And that's exactly where Edward asked to be taken. Frank delivered Edward where he wished. they eventually arrived.

"What are we doing here Edward?" Frank asked almost annoyingly. He was frustrated that Edward was keeping information to himself leaving his contemporary behind. "Searching for answers my friend." "How?" "All in due time my friend." The two men went into the store. Edward with his keen eye looked around and scoped the area. That was the moment he realized it. He had been seeing the same man all over the place. He had noticed the man as he left James' home. He knew he was being followed. Yet he decided to inconspicuously carry on as though he didn't realize.

The two gentlemen proceeded to the counter. "Morning sir, how are you?" Edward asked. "Am fine thank you, how can I help you?" The shop owner replied. "We are from the police department, we have a few questions for you. " Frank said. " Oook!" the shop owner replied rather perplexed. "Have you had a customer who bought a large number of stripshot aak-v." Frank asked. "Sorry I don't give up information about my customers. That's illegal." The shop owner replied. "We are the law enforcement sir. This is detective Edward and I am Mr. Frank. We need this information urgently sir. I advise that you cooperate." "Can I see some identification?" "Sure....Here you go." Franks said as he flashed his ID. "Fine, I have a record of everyone who buys guns here. You can use this to find who you're looking for. I hope this will be helpful." The owner said. "It will, thank you so much. Have a good day." Edward took the documents and walked out of the store. Frank shortly followed.

Edward gave Frank the chance to scrutinize all the documents he had. After a while of looking at documents, Edward asked Frank to head back to the office to file some reports and have his lunch as one o'clock was fast approaching. He also emphasized that Frank does continue searching through the documents. He on the other hand had other plans to put into motion. He set out for a local cafe to have his lunch. He sat outside with his meal besides him and yet he did not take a bit. It seemed like he was waiting for something, but what? He half an eye focused on the documents he obtained earlier that morning as well as the one he got from the gun store. He then saw something he found rather intriguing, he spotted the same man he had suspected of following him and Frank yet again. It seemed that was what he was waiting for. Then a split second of eye contact was all Edward needed to realize his suspicions were right.

The nervousness as the two exchanged eye contact and the fear in his eyes made it all too clear to Edward. The man discerning Edwards knowledge thought it best to take his leave, very hurriedly for that regard. Now the pray had become the predator.

Edward stealthily followed him at a distance insuring that he himself was not seen. The man came to rest at a restaurant in mid town. The restaurant was called Galvin's Eatery. I belonged to Chris Galvin. He was a wealth business man who owned a grand chain of restaurants, most of which were based in Switzerland.

Mr. Galvin had spent most of his life in Switzerland in spite of his English parents. He had his secondary education as well as his university education in the Switzerland. Edward hesitated to go inside but decided to stay outside. His hesitation would be validated as only a few minutes later he would see a man that looked all too familiar.

The man had with him a suit case. Edward instantly recalled that he was the same man he had seen at the train station. He was currying the exact same suit case with him. Edward had a hypothesis. He returned to his office at police headquarters and immediately asked for a meeting with the chief.

The chief let him in. "Yes detective Edward how's the first day of duty going" " Very well if I do say so myself." Edward replied. "Did you get a confession out of Zimo." the chief asked. "On the contrary, I don't believe his guilty at all." Edward replied. "But the footage Edward. Videos don't lie." The chief argued. "I examined the footage sir and would like to show you something I think you may have overlooked."

They played the video of Zimo leaving the crime scene after killing Brian. Then Edward pauses the video as Zimo leaves and zooms in on Zimo's face. "Look at the scars around his face. I met with Zimo this morning and he didn't have these. You surely won't tell me that they could have healed this soon." Edward asked. "Your right Edward that is quite strange. But it changes nothing as of now. We still have to keep him detained, a few scares aren't enough for me to release him. Sorry." The chief said

"How about Tom's case have you looked into that?" The chief asked. "No. But I have a feeling his innocent as well, the video shows scars quite similar to the ones on Zimo's video. I think we've been played sir. Regardless I will see Tom in a minute. But now I need to ask for you to sign something for me sir." Edward said. "What's that?" The chief asked. "A search warrant for Galvin's eatery." Edward said. "What! Why?" The chief asked furiously. Edward paused and looked at the chief rather oddly, as though he were looking at a suspect.

"I have a feeling we will find the answers we're looking for in there." Edward replied. "I can't write up a warrant because you have a feeling Edward. You know how these things work. His a wealthy man one mistake with him and we end up out of a job. Am sorry but I can't." "alright sir." Edward replied rather sad at the chiefs response.

The chief asked Edward to proceed out of his office and continued to do his work. Edward however returned to his office and began to contemplate the chief's responses. "I wonder." He said to himself as he pondered.

He asked Frank to organize an interrogation with Mr. Tom Jeffrey and the sat back down to contemplate once more. Something was wrong here.
