Chapter Five: Head To Head

Before I knew it my mum was back in town but not just to see me, she was also in town to battle court with my dad in order to gain full custody of me. Now in the time she and Dad were fighting a long hard court battle for custody of me whereas I just had to go about my day like any other day such as: Attending and completing my Year Seven at Chatham High School other than boring old school I would attend regular events that the Samaritan's Home held or I would be chilling at home doing homework or chilling in my little office space they set up for me or playing with my toys or writing. Anyways you pretty much get the gist of what I'm talking about. So I'll shut the fuck up and allow you to happily read on while all snuggled up in your chair with a cup of whatever the fuck your drinking!

Now the reason I was taken away from my father was because the Department of Child Protection had suspicion and good reason to believe my Dad had been sexually assaulting me and physically abusing me. Of course they are like police, they are very manipulative with the questions and circle back to the same questions until they get what they wanted. Which in this case they did get what they wanted. Me to confess what they wanted to hear. Therefore it resulted in them taking me away from my father based on what they wanted to hear. That was the main reason I was taken from his care to begin with. I had to appear in court one time, well not an actual courtroom, they set me up in this room with a microphone and computer screens. That is how they got me to confess what they wanted to hear but this time it was brought to court where I was yet again questioned. This day was over before we knew it and I had gone back to the Samaritan's Home on in Taree NSW, Australia.

***Quick Recap***

"Before I was introduced to the Samaritan's Home in NSW, I had been running around jumping from different care homes. In different suburbs of Taree NSW, Australia. The last one was in Wingham after the place in Wingham I had an interview with the place just across the road from my primary school and before I knew it I was moving in. Of course I was excited about moving in because I was tired of going from home to home constantly. I can finally rest assured that I won't be moving around any more."

And... Now we're back. Proceed.

My mum and dad went head to head in an all out court battle to win custody of me and by custody I mean full custody. It went on for days, maybe even weeks. But before I knew it, it was over and who won was quite clear. I was in class at school when my mum visited my school. I remember coming out of the classroom looking to my right and seeing my mother walking down the stairs like she owned them motherfucking stairs like the boss bitch she is. I dropped everything even though I was not holding anything but I ran until I was dizzy with open arms. And right into my mothers arms I was, she had come to tell me the exciting news. That she had won the court case and that I would be going home with her. But there was a catch... it was not right away that I was going to be going back to Adelaide with her. I had to wait until the beginning of two-thousand and fourteen to move back with her which was a long wait.

Along with the wait I just went about my days as per usual.

But...

My carers had some very exciting news, that me moving to be with my mother in Adelaide had been pushed earlier... instead of it being the beginning of two-thousand and fourteen, like we had originally planned. It has been moved up the schedule and now it is the end of December, two-thousand and thirteen which had me jumping for joy and I was so happy.

Again I went on with my days as per usual before I knew it... MOVING DAY HAD ARRIVED! I flew to Adelaide with the social worker that I had assigned to me because of course a child cannot fly solo and rules are rules so... But I had a nice room which had tiled flooring and the unit was awesome. Neighbours were good. Shops were close. And my new school was close to home. I was assigned to Year Eight at Christie's Beach High School which I started in two-thousand and fourteen, I was in the special Ed class that was caged off with gates that had a keypad code on it and just to be bluntly honest it felt like a fucking prison. All fenced off from the normal fucking children. The freaks as some would call us had our own little area while the normal fucking children an entire yard and other mainstream areas to hang out in.

Of course I had my fair share of exes too. Yes I know a little too young to be dating but you got start some-fucking-where, am I right?
