Its been 4 months since the "incident" the teachers merely brushed it off as sparing gone too far and they said there would be no further consequences i returned to my daily jobs it was very peaceful at the moment but that was probably because there was no other students however 0 was told they would arrive tomorrow he knew he couldn't show his spear as they would find something weird about it and suspect him because if students ever use weapons they only use magic swords to help project their magic.

The next morning. 0 awoke at the usual time 5 am he had to wash, dry and iron the clothes of teachers and students this would normally take him around 4 hours he then had to clean all the practice equipment this would take about 2 hours however half way through he saw the main gates open then a nearby teacher told him to get to class and that he would be at the lowest set Z 0 was there before anybody else he looked eager to learn as it would only make him stronger he was part of the 1st years but was a year older than them all but he didn't really care the whole class soon arrived and was in the middle of introductions until it was 0s turn

he could hear people whispering things like "0 what a weird name" "he must be an experiment sent by the syndicate"

and all sorts of other things. in the lesson 0 learnt that mana is a gift from the old god of light bestowed upon people randomly you could have a large capacity or a small capacity a small cap could be as small as 1 mana however if you are lucky you could get a cap as high as 300 (1 in a 1000000) teachers average around 200-300 as mana grows every time you use a spell but extremely slowly, it also regenerates at 10% an hour. Tier 1 spells cost around 3 mana in each tier it doubles however at tier ten it quadruples and it quintuples at tier 15 and continues. only the greatest magicians can cast tier 20 spells and forbidden magic however they where extremely rare only 1 exists at the moment he also learned about the planets main threat the syndicate and the kwaltans (0's race the planets are exactly the same however one was not blessed and had to resort to man made weapons guns bows swords etc. the planet that was blessed thinks they should rule supreme over both planets however when they try to invade they are always repelled by the Kwaltans with their extreme close range skill and their long range capabilities) at the end of the lesson they where escorted to the coliseum for magic practice and light duels (spar) but first they had to test their magical ailment and mana capacity most students had a capacity of around 40 - 50 there was about 7 extremely gifted "prodigys" who had a capacity of 80 - 100. 0's capacity was only 5 he knew he wanted to use magic so he was going to train as hard as he could next up was the ailments testing there was 8 total ailments you could learn all 8 however the one you are born with will be the strongest of them air, water, earth, fire, life, death, summoning, lightning the most common was the four elements, summoning was compulsory as it was a mages only way to defend ones self. 5 people awakened the life ailment 4 awakened lightning 2 awakened summoning and 0 was the only one to awaken the death ailment reducing his reputation even more within his class next up was it was time for the pupils to learn their 1st spells
