i made a few friends since the week of the i found out my ailment once was called Trick although it was probably a nickname he thought was cool, he had long black hair and a scar that started at his chest and went up to his left cheek he was a fire ailment type (which was fairly common throughout the lands) he loved making fiery clones of himself yet they almost always backed fire on him blowing up or just a small puff of smoke 0 also met Lori she had grey eyes that stood out like no other and long brunette hair that reached just below her shoulders she was rather short and didn't look like she belonged in a magic school however she acted very maturely and was the class representative after a while she revealed (only to 0 and Trick) that she was only 15 that didn't really seem to bother 0 much but Trick had fallen into a silent mutter

"age is just a number right ha ha"

"i'm only 4 years older ha"

he seemed to be on the verge of insanity then 0 and Lori both laughed and teased Trick then they eventually laughed together 0 still couldn't activate his magic after all this time most students could almost cast a tier 1 spell some of them where even on tier 2 after class, he finished his work and rushed to his dorm and instantly studied on how to gather his mana he had already read the whole book 34 times however he kept thinking that he had missed something important out and read it again. It was getting late 0 decided to take a refreshing jog to help keep a calm mind about his lack of ability in spell-casting he ran through a forest then over a meadow he had gone so far he couldn't even see the academy anymore he decided to turn back however when he did he heard a distant cry for help 0 being the hero he is completely ignored this as it would only cause him trouble however he turned and saw an icy javelin heading straight towards him impaling him to a nearby tree he then saw 4 other smaller ones 2 of them hit each arm he was too cold to dodge as the javelin seamed to freeze his insides he yelped in pain no soldier could endure being nailed to a tree he thought he would die he waited however nothing seemed to happen and the cold eventually numbed the pain blood had stopped dripping from his body his attacker must of thought 0 had died as well because he stopped with the javelins and it had been around an hour 0 grew restless and tried to desperately break free he didn't want to freeze to death but no matter how hard he tried he was stuck he waited how wasn't he dead he thought to himself when dawn approached as soon as he could move again he would go straight to sun. 0 fell asleep but was awoken by a high pitched scream it was Akea it was the first time he had seen her in a while

"h-h-h-he-y-y A-A-Ak-e-ea" he had manged to say as the icy javelin where still impaled deep within him she fell to her knees and started to weep she hadn't heard 0 and thought he had died

"why you? why did they do it? why?" she questioned

"Akea!" 0 had used all his might to shout one last time to catch her attention she didn't even hesitate and started melting the icicles with her flames 0 dropped but Akea caught him on her back she didn't care that he had a gaping hole in his chest she just wanted to save him however he was so cold it started to burn her she could feel it deep inside of her bones

"d-dr-op me" 0 said softly

"no i cant" she responded as tears trickled down her face 0 started to pull away from Akea but he had to grab her arm so hard she could feel the burning to where she was forced to drop him

"leave me to die you cant carry me all the way back" 0 could speak normally now as the fire must of lightly warmed him up he looked up and saw Akea's snake coiled around the two it was an intense heat but Akea soldiered on and laid down with 0 not speaking a word

"i'm sorry"

"for what?" she said

"at the sparing i scared you didn't i"

"shut up and rest i wasn't scared"

"i know but i'm sorry" Akea couldn't bring herself to leave 0 as her summon wouldn't be able to last long with her being to far she decided to stay and shot a massive flare like fire out in the sky 0 had seen something similar on his home planet fire works only once as the Sargent had gotten a few to congratulate him on "Graduating" it brought a tear to his eye he closed his eyes and was ready to accept any kind of fate brought towards him

i know i jump in and out of 1st and 3rd person a lot please bear with me as it depends on my mood lol
