Back to Korea

10 months later...

"Goodbye everybody!" Jin said, waving goodbye to his team. "If you guys ever need my help, don't hesitate to call me."

"Well, you too! If you need us to beat someone up, don't hesitate to call us either," his teammates joked.

"Okay, then," Jin said with a smile on his face.

"Goodbye, Jin," everyone on the team said.

"Come on, Jin, or we're going to be late for the plane," John said, looking at his watch. Jin nodded, and then he waved for the last time at the team before entering the airport with John.

After ten grueling months of non-stop missions and battling in the treacherous Underground Arena, Jin had managed to master every martial art known to man. At only 16 years old, he was already an unstoppable force, feared by all who knew of him.

Despite his incredible skills, he still couldn't manage to beat The Champion, the reigning king of the Underground Arena. The Champion's words were still an enigma to Jin, leaving him puzzled and determined to surpass him one day.

Jin and John boarded the airplane and, after 14 hours of flying, they finally arrived in Korea.

"Damn it, can't they make the seats softer? Every time we board an airplane, my butt hurts," Jin said while rubbing his behind.

"Just stop your whining and let's go," John said, rolling his eyes.

Jin and John walked out of the airport and saw that a black sedan was already waiting for them.

"Long time no see, Jin. You're already this big, huh?" the driver said. Jin looked at the man and then smiled.

"It's been a long time, Lee."

"Save the talk for later," John said, and then they all got into the car.

After about four hours of driving, they finally arrived at the mansion.

"I missed this place," Jin said, taking his bag and entering the building.

"Welcome back, Jin," everyone in the building said. Jin smiled and said, "Thank you, guys."

"Come here, let's eat first before you go to your room," someone said, handing him a cake.

After finishing the cake, Jin went to his room. After putting away all of his belongings, Jin went downstairs, where he saw Lee and the others still talking.

"Hey, Jin, come here," Lee called.

"What's up?" Jin asked.

"So, we were thinking, how strong are you right now?" Lee said, raising an eyebrow.

Jin thought for a second before saying, "Well, I can beat everybody in this room now, even the captain, I believe."

"That's some big words," Lee said.

"You don't believe me?" Jin said with a smug look on his face.

"We believe you can beat all of us, but the captain?" everyone shook their heads.

"Well, maybe later if the captain has time, we'll see if you can beat him," Lee said.

Jin nodded, and then a maid entered the building.

"Mr. Jin, you have been called to the mansion," she said.

"Okay," Jin said.

"Follow me, then," the maid said, and Jin followed her to the mansion. After they entered the mansion, the maid said, "Please enter that room over there."

"Okay," Jin said, walking toward the room and knocking on the door.

"Come in," the captain's voice said.

Jin entered the room to see the captain and the boss's daughter.

"Captain," Jin said, bowing slightly.

"Welcome back, Jin," the captain said.

"You may already know her. This is the boss's daughter, her name is Rose, you can call her Rose," the captain said, gesturing towards the young woman sitting next to him.

Jin looked at Rose and then bowed a little. "Miss Rose."

Rose then nods while blushing a little. Well, it is normal. After four years, Jin was finally becoming his customized character - perfect face with white hair and blue eyes with a tint of purple.

The captain cleared his throat, gaining Jin's attention. "Jin, you should know why you are here, right?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of authority.

Jin shook his head, unsure of what the captain was referring to. "No, sir," he replied, feeling a bit embarrassed for not knowing.

"Rose wanted to attend school, and as you may know, she is the daughter of our boss," the captain explained, his tone serious. "Therefore, you will be enrolled in the same school as Rose and become her personal bodyguard, you will both attend Jaewon High School,"

Jin's eyes widened in surprise, and he felt a rush of excitement and nervousness wash over him. "I see," he said, trying to keep his composure. "Are there any specific instructions or details I need to know about my role?"

The captain nodded, his expression softening a bit. "Yes, you will need to keep a close eye on Rose at all times and ensure her safety. You are not to leave her side unless it is absolutely necessary, and you must be prepared to handle any potential threats that may come her way."

Jin nodded, taking in the gravity of his new responsibility. "Understood, sir. I will do my best to fulfill my duties as her bodyguard."

The captain gave him a small smile. "I have no doubt about that, Jin. All of the school uniforms you need will be sent to your room later today. Is there anything else you want to ask?"

Jin thought for a moment before speaking up. "May I know which department we will be in?" he asked, curious about where they would be spending most of their time.

"Rose will be in the Beauty Department, and you will be in the Fashion Department," the captain replied.

Jin raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Is this a coincidence?" he wondered aloud.

The captain chuckled. "Perhaps it is, but I don't think it matters much. Your focus should be on protecting Rose and carrying out your duties as her bodyguard."

Jin nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of determination and excitement building within him. "Yes, sir. Thank you for the instructions. I won't let you down."

The captain nodded, signaling that their conversation was over. "Good luck, Jin. You may now leave. And don't be late for tomorrow."

Jin bowed respectfully before turning to leave, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness about what lay ahead.

Jin then went to the building. Lee, who was seeing Jin entering the building, asks, "Got a mission, kid?"

"Yes."

"What mission did you get?"

"I'm going to school."

Lee laughs for a second before asking Jin again, "Why?"

"To protect the boss's daughter. She wants to go to school."

"Okay then. Oh yeah, I have a mission to beat some thugs. Wanna come?"

"Why not?"

Jin said. Jin had nothing to do right now, so he decided to come with Lee. Jin and Lee then get in a car. After about ten minutes of driving, they went to an abandoned construction site. In there, they saw a group of thugs smoking.

"Can't you guys pick a better place to gather?"

Lee said. All of the thugs then turn their heads to Jin and Lee.

"Who the hell are you?"

"Let's just say that we're the ones who control this place."

"So what?"

"You guys were disturbing the people here. You either leave or face the consequences."

Lee said with a smile on his face. One of the thugs then rushes at Lee, trying to punch him, but Lee dodges it and then kicks the thug in the head. Seeing one of their own get beaten, all of the thugs except the leader rush at Lee, but Lee manages to take them all. The leader then gets scared and sees Jin just standing there. The leader then decides to rush at Jin.

Seeing this, Lee just shakes his head. The leader then tries to punch Jin, but Jin just dodges it and punches back. The leader then almost passes out. Jin then walks towards the leader and asks, "Why do you gather in this area anyway? You already know a group was controlling this place, right?"

Jin asks the leader. The leader then answers, "We originally settled on Han River, but now they are controlled by the big four crews."

"The big four crews?"

"It's the group that controls Han River. Every region is controlled by a crew, so we can't settle there anymore."

The leader said. Lee nods and then kicks the leader's abdomen, making him pass out.

Jin and Lee went back to the base. After arriving at the building, Jin went to his room and took a quick shower. "Tomorrow, the plot's going to start, huh? I can't wait for it,"

Jin said to himself. Jin then falls asleep.

The plot is finally starting, and although Jin is already overpowering in terms of combat, he still lacks in many aspects because he has only interacted with people from the mafia family. Thus, he will undergo character development in areas other than his fighting skills.
