"What do you want to eat,Xi Er?" my grammy's voice echoed inside a quiet room which is mine. She wakes me up gently earlier and now combing my hair while asking random things.

"I want some steak,grammy. Can the chef make some,please?" I use my sparkling and slightly moist eyes and show it to my grammy.

She laughed crisply and pinch my bulging cheeks. In Empress Dowager's mind is a dream that Bei Xi stay the way she is or she'll not think twice about stopping indulging this second generation. The Crown Prince,Feng Yi, noticed some few shadows approaching the dining table. He saw the smiling faces of the pair and the also some servants behind have a complicated look.

The only sound in the room was the grandmother-granddaughter chatter while the Crown Prince eat in silence. Quietly tasting the food and looking at the pair. Smiling to himself for their innocent conversation and silly remarks.

It scared the servants even more. These past few hours,the crown prince keeps showing some emotions.

"But Xi Er also want to be with grandma." I can't help my pout.

"You can still visit grandma. And i'm too happy to visit you too. You don't have to think to much. You are still Empress Dowager's granddaughter." she again pinch my cheeks but kiss it lightly after.

In the servants mind they can't help but be stunned. They just met and the Empress Dowager already treats her so well and even call her granddaughter and not adopted granddaughter.

The servants always feel like they might have a heart attack because of the said little girl. Better keep their distance.

On the other hand Bei Xi is joyous to be in her grammy's care.

She happily hold hand with the lady while skipping steps going to her manor. She is slightly worried for her parents' scolding but throw it in the back of her mind.

In the Prime Minister's Manor

The couple is fidgeting in their seat while waiting for their daughter's arrival. The restlessness in their eyes are evident and those big and black bags is too convincing.

They can't even have a second of sleep or rest because of their worry. They are thinking of ways how they should appease the Empress Dowager if ever their daughter offended the monarch.

But when the news of her adoption came,they are dumbfounded.

The said Crown Prince only speak a little throughout the conversations and keeps seeping at his tea quietly while his grandma converse happily at the couple.

The couple dare not to ask how their daughter meet them and just smile accepting the compliments for Bei Xi.

When the pair of monarchs about to leave,the little girl tug her grammy's sleeves. The said lady lower her body and the small one hug her tightly asking her to come back and visit her.

Empress Dowager slightly smiled and hug her back and gives her a positive response.

Bei Xi smiled brighter and pulled back. She then come in front of the Crown Prince and thank him.

Unexpectedly,the young man slightly smiled and lightly pat her head.

This shocked the little girl and not until he turn his back to them to ride the carriage did she recover.

But then she smiled more brightly and hug his thighs. This not only shocked the Crown Prince but also everyone around.

She let go and then said the exact words.

"Thank you Mr.Crown Prince! You are the most kind and handsome boy i met!" she then run back to where her parents are and wave her hands to them telling them goodbye.

Her parents is scared silly for her hugging the Crown Prince but they are spooked when she called the him a boy. This said boy is clearly a young man already.

They didn't see the Crown Prince expression since they are facing his back but the Empress Dowager and her servants saw everything as clear as the day.

They stood rooted to the ground unable to move an inch. Even the Empress Dowager's eyes are bulging.
