Demonic Princess Awakens

Raphael entered the small town and went to the closest inn he could find. There were a fair amount of people drinking, some looked like common people and others like fighters and mercenaries.

One thing in common however, was that the cultivation levels of basically everyone in his town was pathetically low. The highest cultivation in the inn was at the third level of the Nascent Profound Realm.

A power level Raphael was absolutely sure of overcoming with ease. Of course he changed his appearance before entering the town (Yun Che's memories ez, literally a plot device at this point), he had no intention of gathering any attention towards himself because of his looks and 'strong' cultivation at the age of sixteen which was a huge achievement to people in this backwater place.

The reason he was sure his looks would get him unnecessary attention was because he looked better than Yun Che on his wedding day who was numerously referred to as 'good looking' and not only that, he was better looking that any other male he saw in Floating Cloud City.

Him having good observation really gave him a decent advantage.

Currently, he looked the average thirty-year old man. Someone you would forget about in a minute.

He made his way towards the receptionist who greeted him, "Good morning, good sir! How may I help you today?" She was a pretty young lady who looked to be in her early-twenties with cultivation at the seventh level of Elementary Profound realm.

The men in the inn were taking glances at her but none made a move. Either she had a good background (probably not) or the owner of the inn was someone with decent influence.

Not that it mattered though, "Good Morning, young miss! I want a room to stay for one week. Something neat and cozy will do," Raphael replied with a big, friendly smile to which the lady responded in kind, "It will cost seven-thousand Yellow Profound coins or seventy Cyan Profound coins, but I can give you a discount and you can have the room for six-thousand Yellow Profound or sixty Cyan Profound coins."

"Thank you," he nodded with a good-natured smile, "That will be perfect," and handed her sixty Cyan Profound

She took the money and gave him the keys to the room, "Your room is on the second floor, meals will be complementary during your stay, customer." She pointed towards the stairs and he took his leave without any further delay.

He sat on a chair after he entered the room and reverted back to his original appearance before giving a sigh and thought to himself, "There's still a while before Jasmine wakes up. I'll learn some useful techniques from Yun Che's memories till then."

He closed his eyes and started going through Yun Che's memories for any useful concealing and movement techniques. Techniques that would help him hide and run from danger. Though some very excellent techniques would be served on a silver platter to him soon enough, he still wanted to squeeze out whatever useful things he could find.

He also made a mental note to write down the Divine Miracle of Life from what Yun Che had seen later. Could be potentially useful, you never know.

A week quickly passes with Raphael going through a standard routine of waking up, eating breakfast, fighting profound beasts of higher level, meditating, learning techniques, eating, sleeping and repeat. It wasn't particularly entertaining but he now had a much better grasp of his strength. He could fight a True Profound beast without much hassle using the movement and boxing techniques he learnt from Yun Che's memories.

He also learnt a sword technique since he had some of those lying around, though they weren't really needed anyway.

The backwater place didn't have any beasts powerful enough to pose a threat to him at all. So he still didn't know the true limits of his power.

The reason he still hadn't packed and left to New Moon City was because the Scarlet Mountain Range was closer to this town and he couldn't go there yet since Jasmine hasn't woken up. Though he had the Star Concealing grass and some techniques, in case somehow the dragon detects him, he's just dead meat.

It was extremely bugging and might even sound pathetic but Jasmine would be a big shelter in case any screw up happened in the early realms.

Raphael had already checked out of the inn and went to the wilderness near the waterfall where Yun Che was initially training in canon.

As he walking, a bright red light flashed out from his left palm and a figure materialized in front of him. Raphael immediately recognized her to be Jasmine.

He obviously pretended to be surprised however, "Who are you? How did you enter the Sky Poison Pearl?"

Jasmine just gave a scoff and frowned, "This princess should be asking you that question! Why does a weakling like you have the Sky Poison Pearl?! And why are you so weak when you have such a special physique?!"

"…" he didn't answer her at all and acted as if he knew nothing, just giving her a shrug.

"Not only that, instead of cultivating, which would give you much better results than anyone else in this lowly place, you're wasting your time learning pathetic excuses for fighting techniques! Are you retarded?!" she barked out, releasing a tiny wisp of her aura which immediately scared away any close by creatures while suffocating Raphael.

'Shit! Even this teeny bit of her power can affect me this much!' he thought bitterly to himself. Realizing her slip up, Jasmine immediately retracted her aura and snorted coldly.

"Now answer my questions, or this Princess will definitely slaughter you!"

"…I don't really know how I have this… Sky Poison Pearl you speak of…" he breathed out once he gathered his bearings, "I have no recollection of my memories prior to a couple of days. The only thing I remember about myself is that my name is Yun Junlin and that I was a skilled doctor. I can still perform my medical skills" he started speaking much more clearly after a moment but before he could say anything further, she stopped him:

"Whatever, this Princess doesn't care! I will give you two options: one is you obediently hand over the Sky Poison Pearl to this Princess. The other is that this Princess will take your life and the Sky Poison Pearl." Her words carrying a distinct and suffocating threat which made his head spin.

He was still able to control his facial expression and reply, "Kill me then, I won't surrender it to you!" He replied with a hoarse voice.

His level of composure surprised her but she wore her stoic mask again and said, "You think I wouldn't dare?" her voice growing a tone deeper this time while her fingers caught his neck tightly, his life was completely in her hands. At least to anyone else who witnessed this scene.

Still maintaining the same expression, "Go ahead if you dare! You were hit by a strange poison, but this poison not only poison the body, but also poison the soul! That night, your body already dissipated in my face, and you became only a soul tormented by this severe poison…. The body you have now, is only a semi-physical body born from you forcefully sucking my blood the other day, while borrowing power from the Sky Poison Pearl that was fused with me! This means that, my life, is also your life! If you had died, it wouldn't affect me in the slightest; but if I had died, you would have instantly died with me!"

"Surrendering the Sky Poison Pearl to you only equates to my death! But having you kill me means both of us die! Scream and threaten me all you want! Not only that, I can sever your connection to the Sky Poison Pearl with a mere thought! The only reason I haven't done that is because I was a doctor from whatever hazy memories I recovered and wished to save a life, but clearly someone doesn't value my efforts. If you want to keep living, you'd better give me a reason to not sever the connection right now!"

The connection part was complete bullshit he had come up with on the spot. He didn't have crippled profound veins like Yun Che did, so he needed to offer Jasmine a good enough incentive to give him the Heretic God's Profound Veins.

Jasmine's fingers immediately left his neck, which allowed him to take a deep breathe and calm himself, "Heh! You aren't as useless as you look! Alright then, name anything you want! This Princess will give it to you once she recovers. Naturally, this Princess need not lie to someone from such a lowly place like yourself!"

He shook his head however, "As someone from a lowly place like you said, I naturally cannot understand the depth of your background. What might be considered as an Earth-shattering treasure might be considered something only worth a single glance to you. So… I want something I can at least picture the depth of. Something I can understand… like a treasure similar to the Sky Poison Pearl which seems to be of great value to even someone like you… or something that can give me great strength.."

Jasmine's countenance got even colder, "You really are very smart! Very good, you really trapped this Princess using her own words! Fine then, surely you what a God means? If you agree to three conditions of mine, I will give you a set of Profound Veins with the power… of a God!!"

"Good, you understand what I'm saying," 'Yun Junlin' slipped out a small smile, "State your conditions!"

"The first condition is that you must the Sovereign Profound within the next ten years! No more!" She said with a clear voice that accepted no rebuke.

It was a shorter time limit than what she gave Yun Che, but it was definitely doable, "Okay… state your next condition" he said with no expression on his face, as if it was really trivial matter to him.

"The second condition is that you must bring me three items, namely three Profound beast cares no lower than the Sovereign Profound realm, a complete stalk of the Netherworld Udumbara Flower and… fifty kilograms of Purple Veined DIvine Crystal all within the next twenty years at most!"

He internally frowned as he noticed that the conditions were much stricter as compared to what she told Yun Che. Nevertheless, "It will be done, what's your final condition?" he asked cryptically.

"The third and final condition is that you must accept me as your Master and kowtow to me three whole times! I will impart and teach you far beyond anything this plane has to offer!" she specifically emphasized the kowtowing part.

"Done." He replied and kowtowed three times to her.

"…" she blinked a few times without saying anything. He kowtowed so easily? Doesn't he have any pride?

"Does my pride matter when I can get my hands on the power of a God? I will also squeeze out every bit of valuable knowledge from you since you are my master. Three kowtows is naturally not worth even mentioning." He gave her a reply which made her fume internally.

She really should've asked him to kowtow a hundred times!!
