"You came, I'm glad." Jayce stood up and greeted her with a smile, he pulled out a chair for her and let her sit first before going back to his seat.

"I'm not one to just run off without a word." Elizabeth replied sarcastically, she rolled her eyes and avoided making eye contact with him.

He was even more mature now and his features were well-defined compared to when he was still a teenager. His voice was low but still left one with the impression of chills even in a cosy room.

"I'll explain everything if you hear me out." Jayce put his hands together and pleadingly pressed his lips into a thin line.
