"What was that?" Arlo asked.

"The sound came from above," Lynorr claimed.

Hearing the loud smashing sound, they all turned to look at the ceiling.

"That's where Feron's chamber is," Ophni said as they all exchanged glances before hurriedly leaving the dining room.

"Your highness!" Peter and Edmund shouted as they opened the door, and seeing Lydan and Feron; they both rushed toward them.

Lydan's forehead was bleeding, and Feron was glaring at him while he was clenching a broken piece of the vase. Edmund covered Lydan's face with a piece of clean, white clothing, and Peter gingerly snatched up the glass fragment from Feron's hand and gently pressed his hand with a fabric.

Despite the chaos in the room and the scattered vase pieces, Feron continued to glare at Lydan while holding his hands in a trembling fists. Lydan was wincing in pain and staring down at the floor in confusion.

Peter and Edmund were observing the mess in the room when all of a sudden, Ophni hurriedly entered the room, followed by Arlo, Lynorr, and Ayrton.

"What just happened?" Arlo said as he and the others looked around the room.

"Your highness, we just entered and saw all of this." Edmund hurriedly exclaimed.

They all turned to face Feron. "You've woken up at last…," Arlo halted as he spoke after noticing Lydan's bleeding forehead and Feron's bleeding hands.

While Ophni and Arlo assisted Lydan, Ayrton and Lynorr sprinted over to the panting Feron and helped him stand.

"What on earth is going on here?" Ophni yelled in fury.

"Pick up these glass pieces first and call a physician straight away," Lynorr said as Peter and Edmund sprinted out of the room.

"Were you squabbling with one another?" In an alarmed manner, Arlo questioned.

Feron was sitting on his bed, and Lydan was sitting on the Chesterfield next to the window. Lydan was still looking down as Feron was glaring at him, and Feron appeared as if he couldn't feel the agony in his hands, his eyes were as if they lacked expressions and emotions except for rage.

"Will you at least speak?" Lynorr said loudly as she stared at Feron.

"Lady, tell us what occurred here?" Ophni questioned, he was crouched down in front of Lydan as he attempted to treat Lydan's injuries after examining his wounds.

Lydan remained silent as Ophni sighed and turned back to look at Feron, who appeared to be calming down. Ayrton, who was seated next to Feron, noticed that his hazel eyes were initially murkier, but that as he was calming down, they were turning hazel once again.

Ayrton attempted to treat Feron's wound Feron abruptly felt a jolt in his body as he realized what had happened.

"Lydan?" Feron muttered, sounding guilty as he fixed his gaze on Lydan, who was standing in front of him.

With a jolt, Feron bolted over to Lydan and plopped down next to him.

"Lydan… I... am..." Lydan rose up and abruptly exited the room while Feron was muttering.

"Lady!" Ophni yelled, but the room's door had already been shut.

When Feron realized everything, he struck his forehead with his palm and looked down.

Some time ago...

As soon as the glass vase broke and dispersed into numerous pieces, Lydan sprinted over to Feron. He attempted to hold Feron's hand to prevent him from stepping on the jagged glass fragments, but Feron's strength was too great.

Lydan tried to grasp Feron from behind once again since he was out of control, but it too failed, and he was shoved to the ground.

"What is going on with him?" As he saw Feron move slowly in his direction, Lydan muttered in his head.

"Why were you with that commodity?" Feron inquired.

"I have no idea what even he is saying," Lydan's conscience muttered as he was confused to the core.

"What are you referring to?" Lydan gestured as he noticed Feron's hazel eyes that began to turn black; Lydan retreated as he felt danger.

Lydan continued to slide as Feron knelt and seized one of the shattered shards of glass.

"Why don't you just let him be?" Feron charged toward Lydan while yelling as he attempted to knife him.

Lydan struggled, but the shard of broken glass pierced his forehead before he could shove Feron aside.

...

"Your highness, please don't let the water contact your wound till the scab grows over it." The old physician remarked.

"This way," Edmund said as he led the elderly doctor outside.

From the Davenport, Lydan got up and walked over to the mirror.

Lydan touched his dressed wound and looked in the mirror, thinking, "I shouldn't have raced out of the room like that."

"Your majesty?" Lydan ignored Edmund's call since he was preoccupied with his thoughts while looking in the mirror.

"Your majesty?" Lydan jerked out of his reverie when Edmund called out once more.

Lydan smiled and turned around."Yes?" He gestured.

"Are you going to have your meal here?" Edmund enquired.

"That would be better," Lydan gestured as Edmund left the room.

"What did you do?" Ophni asked, feeling a bit irritated.

"I don't know, I can't seem to align what occurred," Feron remarked.

"What had transpired for Lydan to have to leave the room so quickly?" Ayrton enquired.

"I think it all occurred as a result of a side consequence of my curse-casting ability, which I was unable to control due to illusions I saw,'' Feron answered hastily.

"Your highness, please don't touch water for a bit." The old physician said as he turned to Caspian, who had just entered the chamber.

The elderly doctor and the servants who were cleaning were led outside by Caspian.

"You should be grateful that this time's repercussions were not as severe as the past when you nearly killed your servant," Lynorr said.

Feron got up from the Davenport and said, "I'm going to apologize to Lydan," but he stopped when he heard Ayrton's voice.

"You are not leaving until you tell us everything," Ayrton remarked as Feron again sat down on the Davenport.
