Chapter 1: Hopeless One

A person living in this world is experiencing different experiences. That is mainly the reason why we are born: to live, to experience and finally die. But, there are cases where some are not able to have anything meaningful in their lifetime. Those are the unfortunate people.

At the side of the road of a unknown village, there is a begger sitting and looking at other people. He is examining people as to confirm their belongings. He is planning to beg for some help from someone who is wealthy. He looks and looks but doesn't find anyone who is willing to help him.

He is an experienced beggar, while living in poverty he has learned to differentiate between people who are kind hearted and willing to help, and those who cannot spare their time for some useless beggar.

When he is finally giving up hope, a certain old gentleman appears before him. He is tall, almost 6 feet, is wearing a expensive black suit. From appearance anyone could tell, he was wealthy. He bends his knee, lowering his upper body to the beggars level and speaks.

"Do you need help? If you do, would you like to help me?"

The beggar was surprised by the sudden approach of the gentleman. He was surprised but also pleased. Not just because someone talked to him while lowering themselves, but also because he could sense a genuine interest the gentleman had in him.

"Of course, how could this lowly beggar be of help to someone like you."

The beggar in a cheerful mood asks the gentleman. He was happy today. Not only was he able to talk to someone, he may be able to eat till he is full. That is the happiest expectation a beggar can have.

"Well, you see, I am trying to recruit household workers. I am new here, and am thinking of moving here but couldn't find anyone trust worthy. You my friend, look to be just the man, I am looking for."

The beggar who is currently in his 45th year on this earth heard the greatest news in his whole life. He was asked to work.

Living in this world as a poor person is hard. People say that,"If you are lacking in income find a job, there are a lot of them, for every level of people." They say such things in ignorance. If they knew that people are not able find jobs due to their variation of circumstances, they would not speak such nonsense.

Some people lack skills, and are not able to have a job while some are not even treated with the same level of human decency therefore not fit for a job. To give opportunities to beggars, first of all there is a need for kind people who are willing to respect every person without any prejudice.

And the beggar it seems has found such a person.

" If you're are offering me work. Then I am delighted. I am going to do my best, sir."

The beggar accepts the job offer. The gentleman was very happy by the beggars decision. You could see the old gentleman smirking due to the good news.

Both of them sit on the car, parked on the road. The beggar was dirty and smelly but the gentleman didn't mind one bit. The engine starts and they make their way toward their home.

The beggar was ecstatic, he was for the first time able to experience riding a car. The warm air inside, and the contrasting cold air outside made him tremble with excitement.

They reach their new home.

It was located deep within the jungle. The beggar recognised the jungle. It was the same jungle people were scared of roaming.

There were bad rumors surrounding this jungle. People say that a monster lives in this jungle, it abducts people and eat them.

While trying to maintain composure, the beggar asks the gentleman a question.

"Where are we, sir?"

"Oh, It seems you do not recognise this place. It is where my recently bought house is located at. Now, let's get out of the car."

After obtaining the information, the beggar calms down. He slowly walks out of the car and looks at the surrounding. It was currently 6 pm therefore making surrounding appear more frightening. Beside the car was a big house, it seemed to old. It appeared as though no one alive lives there.

The old gentleman opens his trunk, picks up the big bag and approaches his house. He also signals the beggar to follow him. He rings the doorbell. And a big man opens the door. The old gentleman enters and the beggar follows him.

The first glance of the inside of the house was enough to send shivers down to the beggar's spine.
