Author note: Since it is my first time writing I will lack in many fields, sometimes I will not be able to explain the plot properly or sometimes I will cut short it. My readers will encounter my hazardous writing that I am proud of but as the journey of both mine and the hero goes on, we will improve. So I the author will urge my viewers to give my novel a try, I am just a boy trying to bring my fantasy out to you. I will not ask for power stones nor will I enter into the contract if my readers want it but please give my chapters your honest review and tell me where I can improve. Turning the tables

Aldric tightened its grip on the sword and waited for Afeef to strike, wanting to gauge Afeef's new strength. Aldric knew better than to charge in recklessly, it is better to be aware that his opponent might have another trick up his sleeve. "I need to block his attacks first to truly understand his new power," Aldric thought. Afeef launched a barrage of attacks, and Abyss had no choice but to block them.

"Powerful," Aldric remarked. As he fought against Afeef, he overheard Torin and Sharlyn discussing. "He's a Mana Knight," Aldric thought to himself. Curious, he asked the system for an explanation.

[Mana Knight is a special class awakened by a swordsman. It requires not only talent but also hard work and a good control of mana. A Mana Knight can infuse their attacks with mana, but it puts a great toll on the user. The downside is that while using this class, the user becomes vulnerable to physical attacks,] the system explained. Aldric was taken aback, not by the information itself, but by the more human-like tone the system used. "This is not the time to get distracted," Aldric reminded himself.

According to the explanation, Afeef should be vulnerable to physical attacks. This meant Aldric needed to close the distance between them. However, Afeef's attack speed far surpassed Aldric's reaction speed, and his attack power was much greater. Aldric pondered on how to overcome this challenge and as the fight was going on Aldric activated his Battle sight skill and noticed a strange thing that when Afeef was using one of the mana attacks he needed to wait 2 seconds before doing another.

"Yes, that should do it," Aldric thought and recalled one of his skill that could get the job done, while calling up the system once again."How long will I be able to use it in my current state?" Aldric asked the system."Your understanding of Law is negligible, so at most, you will be able to use it for 13 seconds," the system replied, now with a more human-like tone.

"Heheheh," Aldric chuckled, sending shivers down Afeef's spine. Unaware of Aldric's thoughts, Afeef rushed towards him, launching a barrage of attacks at an even faster speed than before. Aldric was startled but quickly regained his composure.

"Let's use it," Aldric said to the system.

[Activating Void Body. You will be able to neglect every damage done to your body,]the system responded.

Afeef attacked Aldric, but to his shock, there was no effect. "How is this possible?" Afeef exclaimed, dumbfounded. Nevertheless, he continued his relentless assault. On the sidelines, everyone was astonished by how Afeef's attacks had no effect on Aldric. Torin, in particular, was deeply perplexed. "Why is this happening?" he wondered.

As Aldric blocked Afeef's attacks, the system warned him that he had only 5 seconds left on the Void Body. Aldric countered Afeef's attacks perfectly, using his Battle-Sight skill to push him back.

Dash!

Aldric swiftly dashed towards Afeef, Taking advantage of the cooldown. While this might not seem significant to others, it meant everything to Aldric in that moment. Afeef launched another attack, but Aldric didn't need to dodge. As soon as the cooldown for Afeef's attack began, Aldric quickly launched his own attacks on Afeef's left side, using his sword. Although Afeef managed to block the sword attack, he couldn't defend against Aldric's kick that struck him directly in the stomach.

Afeef collided with two trees in succession, one of them breaking in half, and the other bearing a dent. Splash! Cough! Cough!

Afeef coughed up a large chunk of blood, and his armor plate bore the imprint of Aldric's foot on his chest. As he lifted his head, he found Aldric's sword aimed at his neck.

"I lost," Afeef declared.

Dead silence filled the air. Just moments ago, it seemed as though Afeef had Aldric cornered, but the tables had turned completely. "The winner is Aldric," Torin announced, his voice filled with bewilderment.
