Author note: Since it is my first time writing I will lack in many fields, sometimes I will not be able to explain the plot properly or sometimes I will cut short it. My readers will encounter my hazardous writing that I am proud of but as the journey of both mine and the hero goes on, we will improve. So I the author will urge my viewers to give my novel a try, I am just a boy trying to bring my fantasy out to you. I will not ask for power stones nor will I enter into the contract if my readers want it but please give my chapters your honest review and tell me where I can improve. For now, I will hope to see you in my chapter comments. See you soon. Asura going dark......

THE NEW HERO

"Hello, kid. I am the God of Darkness, the being who rules over death and voidness, the one that showdows serve" the tall figure before me declared, his face exuding an icy coldness. His voice resonated throughout the space, carrying an air of solemn authority. The being in front of me was wearing a hood that could hide an entire the sky under it.

"Wh... Where am I?" I managed to ask, my words barely escaping my lips under the immense pressure. I attempted to move, but it was futile. It felt as if an entire mountain had been placed upon my back.

"You are foolish to think you can resist the pressure of a god," the tall being responded. "If you are a god, then am I dead?" I questioned.

To my suprise the being in front me started laughing.

"No," the being replied and continued"You are not only foolish but also ignorant. Look at your body first before speaking," G.O.D retorted. In the midst of the commotion, I had forgotten to assess my own state. Now, as I observed, I realized that my body was transparent, and I could see through it. It emitted a radiant glow.

I lost control, consumed by fury, and shouted, "You motherf****r, what have you done to my body?"

"You are in your spiritual form. If you were to enter this realm with your physical body, you would have perished the moment you arrived," G.O.D said nonchalantly.

Author's Note: From this point on, the God of Darkness will be referred to as G.O.D for my own convenience.

"What is this place, and where am I?" I inquired, seeking answers.

"This is my domain, a realm far away from Warna, where the laws of your world do not apply," G.O.D replied, his expression cold and distant. I pressed further, asking, "If you are the ruler of this place, why am I here?"

"I summoned you here," G.O.D stated simply. "But why?" I immediately questioned.

To me it doesn't make any sense for a god to summon me.

"Do you know about god heroes or war heroes?" G.O.D asked.

"Yes, aren't they the individuals tasked with defeating the Archfiend and preventing his ascension to godhood," I responded.

Everyone know about the heroes and demon king who is trying to reach ascension so it was also obvious for me to know since I travel here and there.

"Correct. Heroes are the only beings capable of slaying the Archfiend and thwarting his plans in your world. They are summoned here from different realms, representing the gods who summoned them. For instance, if the God of Fire were to summon a hero, they would be known as the Hero of Fire, specializing in fire-based abilities and magic," G.O.D explained, pausing briefly before continuing.

"And why exactly are you telling me all this stuff" I intrupted before he continued

"Because the reason you are here is that you are the next Hero of Darkness." G.O.D said.

G.O.D fell silent, allowing his words to sink in. As he revealed this information, shock coursed through my veins. The most astonishing revelation was that I was destined to become the next Hero of Darkness.

"But why me,i am so weak and don't know anything about heroes and Archfiend, I am not even religious" I said while trying to digest all the information. "It is not like I summoned you personally, for every 100 years we gods summon a new soul to make them represent us and the summoning of souls are random sometimes they are summoned from another world like the last heroen of darkness was summoned from a place called Earth but this time a inhabitant was summoned" said G.O.D.

"Last hero of darkness was a girl not a man" I inquired and before G.O.D could answer I quickly asked the another question

"No,before anything else, tell me one thing. If you are all gods, why can't you defeat the Archfiend yourselves? Why go through all this trouble?" I asked, my tone serious.

"We cannot. Even if we desired to, we are bound by the law of causality," G.O.D replied calmly.

"What is that?" I inquired further.

"It is a law that governs us gods, preventing us from interfering in matters that would alter destiny. Even if we wished to aid the heroes in slaying the Demon King, we are unable to do so. Destiny would find a way to repeat itself, and a new Demon King would emerge, perpetuating an endless cycle," G.O.D explained, with a tinge of anger in his voice.

I became silent with how things work I thought that gods could do anything but here they also need to rely on some other one.

"But what if I refuse to fulfill this role? Will I be sent back?" I questioned.

"No, you will die," G.O.D replied, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
