Author note: Since it is my first time writing I will lack in many fields, sometimes I will not be able to explain the plot properly or sometimes I will cut short it. My readers will encounter my hazardous writing that I am proud of but as the journey of both mine and the hero goes on, we will improve. So I the author will urge my viewers to give my novel a try, I am just a boy trying to bring my fantasy out to you. I will not ask for power stones nor will I enter into the contract if my readers want it but please give my chapters your honest review and tell me where I can improve. For now, I will hope to see you in my chapter comments. See you soon. Asura going dark......

Meeting Again!

Moving on to the section about monsters, Aldric thoroughly read about it. He called up the system to see if there was any better explanation, but the system said that its knowledge about monsters was the same as his. The system also mentioned that the people of Warna might have copied things from him, but Aldric knew that was impossible. Nevertheless, he still looked at the rankings of monsters and asked the system for more information.

"System, can you provide me with information on monster ranks?" Aldric asked.

[Of course,] replied the system. [Here are the ranks for monsters:

Mythical Beasts: Creatures of legend, possessing immense power and often associated with ancient myths and folklore. Examples include dragons, phoenixes, and griffins.

Legendary Creatures: Rare and powerful creatures that are renowned for their unique abilities. Examples include chimeras, manticores, and thunderbirds.

Ancient Monsters: Creatures with a long history, sometimes considered guardians of ancient places or relics. Examples include basilisks, hydras, and roc birds.

Majestic Beings: Powerful creatures that command respect in their own domains. Examples include krakens and gryphons.

Enigmatic Entities: Uncommon creatures with mysterious abilities and origins. Examples include kirins, leviathans, and kitsunes.

Formidable Monsters: Strong and dangerous monsters that pose a significant threat. Examples include wyverns, werewolves, and harpies.

Monstrous Beasts: Creatures with notable strength and ferocity but are more common than higher-ranked monsters. Examples include manticores, trolls, and minotaurs.

Common Monsters: Everyday monsters that may be encountered regularly but are still formidable. Examples include goblins, orcs, and giant spiders.

These are the general ranks for monsters, but it's important to note that within each rank, there can be variations in strength and abilities. Some monsters may even possess unique traits or abilities that set them apart from others in their rank.]

Aldric absorbed the information, realizing the vast array of challenges he could face as an adventurer. He closed the book and pondered on the knowledge he had gained. After reading about monsters, he moved on to the section about dungeons and found out that the nearest dungeon was the Graovi dungeon.

The dungeon had a total of 100 floors, each with its own climate and variety of monsters. Every 5 floors shared the same environment, and at the end of every 5th floor, there was a boss monster that served as the inhabitant of that floor and the guardian for the next floor. As Aldric looked out of his window, he realized that it was already too late. He had become too immersed in the library and had forgotten to check the time. Aldric decided to leave and make his way back to his inn.

When he arrived at the inn and ordered his dinner for the night, he heard some noises coming from outside. It sounded familiar, as if he knew whose voice it was.

"Shut the fu*k up and let me enter, hick!" a man outside the inn shouted. From his voice, it was clear that he was drunk. "Sir, you are too drunk. You can't enter," a man replied. This guy was the gatekeeper for the inn, whose job was to keep troublemakers outside.

Thud!

The drunken man was then thrown back and he landed directly on the floor. Aldric couldn't resist his curiosity and decided to check who it was. As he got outside, he saw a crowd of people gathered around. He made his way through the crowd and saw that the person causing the commotion was none other than his previous business partner, Torin. Torin was sitting on the ground, completely drunk. Aldric walked towards Torin and helped him stand up. "Get up, Sir Torin," Aldric said.

"No, I won't," replied Torin.

"Where are your party members?" Aldric asked. In response, Torin started crying. After crying for a while, Torin fainted. Aldric then picked Torin up in his arms and decided to take him to his room. As Aldric got closer to the door, he felt a hand on his shoulder trying to stop him from entering the inn. "Sir, as I said, I can't let this guy enter the inn," the gatekeeper said. "I know this guy. He won't cause you any problems, so let me handle him," Aldric said, and as he opened the inn's door, a reddish aura burst out from him, putting everyone on their knees, including the gatekeeper. Aldric then entered his room and placed Torin onto his bed.

"What could have happened? And why did he suddenly start crying when I asked him about his party?" Aldric wondered. He knew that only Torin could clear his suspicions, so he decided to wait for Torin to wake up first.
