Chapter 30

As Mysterion was waiting for death, everything happened so fast. He didn't quite understand what happened but he heard the steel smash against the wall but not him. Slowly processing his surroundings, he saw the girl that had blood red eyes and razor sharp teeth. She once had a mask but now her face reveals as a blood sucking monster. The fact she saved his life, her appearance was the last thing on his mind. The only thing was. She was the enemy, why did she help?

"Give me that antidote and get out of here." She said while taking the beaker.

"Wait, we don't have much time left."

"I said go! I will find the others, I'm much faster than you! Go!"

"I'm not leaving without my team. I'll help you find them."

She groaned as she grabbed his hand and moved in the speed of light. This was draining her ability, the faster she went but due to that fact, she found the remaining all together on the lab.

Mysterion quickly ran over to Toolshed and Canvas as they were still laying down but their eyes were open.

"Are they okay?" He asked.

"They woke up not long ago but they still can't seem to move.

"Alright. We all need to get out of here now but before we do. Everyone drink from this." The speedy woman said while handing Fright the beaker.

Everyone past it on while Reign poured the smallest bit in Canvas and Toolshed's mouth.

The only one that didn't drink from the beaker was the quick girl. "Alright everyone, hold onto eachother. Don't let go for ANYTHING!" She said while looking back at the group slowly changing back. The ship shaking while the lights flashed red and fire started erupting the lab. It was clear they were coming closer to the Earth's surface.

Everyone refused to let go while the girl used the last of her remaining power and zoomed in the speed of light to the escape pods.

"Everyone get it!" She ordered with blood seeping out from her nose.

As everyone was getting in, they looked back at her.

"Cheea, come on let's go." Reign said.

Cheea looked back at the control module as that was the button that needed to be pushed to get those remaining escape pods to launch. Looking back she flashed her sharp razor teeth.

"Be sure to tell dad I'm sorry I couldn't make it back." She said while slamming her fist in on the button.

"No GRACE!! NOOO!" Reign yelled as her pod shut and launched.

As no more pods were available. The one known as Grace, gave a small smile as a tear fell from her cheek.

"I'm sorry I couldn't go back to normal dad. I'll be sure to tell mom hi for you though. I love you and I'm sorry I'm not your daughter anymore. I'm only a monster." She said while closing her eyes and accepting her fate with the final crash and everything went white for the poor hero.
