5 Chapter 5: "A lot of luck"
*Back home*
I was in front of the bathroom mirror.
After performing my hand washing ritual and my prayers to all the gods I know, I decided to open the store.
Those fearful options were in my eyes.
[Skills]
[Statistics Improvement]
First I decided to go to the [Skills] option.
A huge list was displayed in front of me.
They were divided by the same colors as in roulette.
Out of curiosity I decided to take a look at the color option [Adamantine]
I could see a long list.
In first place was the Skill [Rinnegan] with a little sign that said "HOT"
When I saw the price I quickly changed to colors that were more accessible to me.
AND NOT! It's not because of the scary number of 5,000,000 Ikemen points. I'm scared or anything like that. It's just that I don't have much time and I have to look within my current possibilities. Yeah! Is that! Nothing about feeling completely starving when I see such a price. No!
Breaking away from my internal monologue, I kept an eye on the [Iron] skills, since my [Advanced Chanting] skill belonged to this category and was really useful to me, I decided to see what other skills I would find.
I was able to find a host of skills that would be really useful to me.
[Martial Artist - Intermediate] -> 100 Ikemen points.
[Sprinter - Intermediate] -> 85 Ikemen points.
[Bookworm] -> 80 Ikemen points.
[Charming Tone] -> 90 Ikemen points.
However, seeing that their prices were around 80 to 100 points. And looking back at my measly 26 points. I decided to leave it for a later date.
Well clearly the skills are out of my reach at the moment.
In that case let's look at the other option.
[Statistics Improvement]
Upon entering the Option a sign was displayed in front of me.
"The stat boost is set at 2 Ikemen points per 1 stat point. This will be the case until the threshold of 10 points in a statistic is exceeded. After 10 points and up to 20 points the exchange will be 3 x 1, the trend will continue with each additional 10 points. Once the stat point is chosen, it cannot be changed. Please take your precautions"
So following this logic in theory I have 13 stat points. If only I stay within the 10 point threshold. And if I want to pass a stat of 10 I could only get 4 more points.
This is a tough decision. If I want to keep my title active I would have to leave all my skills exactly the same. Which would be 8 points. Just to improve one point on each of my stats. For now I want to keep this title for future events with Komi-San. If I do, I would spend 16 points and have 10 points left. Those necessary to be able to launch another round in the [Gacha].
Well I think I'll do this.
With a heavy heart I spent the few points I had.

Wow this is great!
I don't know how I got Lady Luck's attention. But I will never deny a cake that falls from the sky.

System: "What the hell have you done, stupid soul!"
Tadano: "Huh? What is the problem?"
System: "Don't give me that! You have attracted the attention of Lady Luck. Not to mention that she has lent you her power! Know? You are currently under the Jurisdiction of the Goddess of Destiny. And she doesn't like people taking her things!"
Tadano: "This sounds very bad. What am I supposed to do now?"
System: *Sigh* "Luckily. And yes I know it sounds ironic. The goddess of Fate is Sleeping right now, after expending a large amount of her power in the creation of this System. However, she can see the past perfectly. And rest assured that she will not be at all happy that you associate with other gods that she does not authorize. Quickly press the roulette button.
When the arrow stopped, I couldn't believe it.

For a moment my mind froze.
When I recovered internally I thanked Lady Luck with all my heart, but outwardly I didn't say anything to avoid increasing the future wrath of the Goddess of Fate.
