The curse

The kingdom of Oz had just lost it King, King Pura, he was known to be a man filled with hatred and terror, and for many years he had held slaves captive, only giving them to the highest bidder. The news of how death was announced by the prime minister, who had known the king since he was little, rumours have it that the prime minister had once persuaded the king to sell his throne for more powers to the devil. the King being a wise and ruthless man, knew that he could rather sell his soul so the devil, so he could practice necromancy, having dark powers to change into anything and nobody dared to challenge him. On the day of his death, it was seen by two servant that the king was torn apart by the devil who came for his soul, leaving the pieces of King Pura, lying all over the palace. The prime minister whom eyes had always been on the throne, cast a spell on the king's only son, the heir to the throne, the next ruler of Oz, Prince Nazi. Prince Nazi was only just Nineteen years old, his mother passed away when he was only five, his father had refused to get married, as it was a part of the agreement he had with the devil, not to get married or have another child. This left Prince Nazi being a lonely child, with the old maid, who had been with his mother since she became the Queen. The maid, kimorah, took Nazi as her own child and took proper care of him, she made him aware he was to the King and that is why he has less friends, as a king should not be seen with too many people, and a king must learn to be on his own and fend for himself. This made Nazi develop an independent mind and when he learnt of the death of his father, he knew that he must ascend the throne and continue from where his father stopped.

On the day the king of Oz was buried, is the day, Prince Nazi is to be made kind before sun set. It is the tradition of the people of Oz to bury her king before the cock crows, and to crown the new king before sunset, as it is believed that if the new king is crowned early, it bring good things to the people early and when they pray to their gods, they receive an answer before sunset.

When king Pura was buried, it rained heavily, and thunder from above stricked the people who carried his body. This was a bad omen to the people, the chief priest of Oz knew of this, but the burial must be completed to give way for a new king to emerge.

Prince Nazi had to carry his father to the river bank, where rituals and rites was performed to send the King's spirit home, they made it to the palace before sunset to crown Prince Nazi, on getting to the Palace gate, men were being put to man the gate and hinder anyone from getting into the palace as the prime minister was about to be crowned the new king. This act of crowning the Prime minister the new king was foster by the witch who lives in the kingdom of harnez, the kingdom of Oz and harnez were sworn enemy. These two kingdom fought a war Hundred years ago, which the kingdom of Oz won and took about two hundred of the people of harnez, and took them as slaves, selling them to the highest bidder. For years these slaves have given birth and a formed family in the Kingdom of Oz, only to get their children continue to be slaves and concubines.

Prince Nazi did all he could to gain entrance into his Palace, he had no one on his side, as his father was only a ruthless man when he was alive. Remembering the words of the old maid, not to be a coward as a king should be fearless and brave, he fought his way into the palace and seek audience with the prime minister, who had already been crowned the king.

This brought fury to Prince Nazi, he realised that his father legacy is all gone for good, He had no one to fight for him, except the old maid who was only fragile and scared for her life. the witch from harnez learning the prince had gained entrance into the palace, boiled with fury, as she had thought the thunder she made to strike had killed the Prince. she burned with rage, and bitterness, standing close to the prince, to see his face one more time, which reminds her of his father, who had gone to war with the people of harnez and for years had made them slaves, anger consumed her, as in order to save her people from being slaves, she had learned necromancy for twenty years, hoping to revenge and fight for her people who had suffer alot. The witch being compassionate in her little ways, casted a spell on the Prince, turning him into a Dragon who could only turn back to a Human being after twenty years.

This made the prime minister angry, as he wanted the prince completely out of his life, he ventured for a sword to kill the prince who already turned to a Dragon, but was halted by the witch, who only wants the prince to suffer. With her magic she made the prince run into the forest, as Dragons should never be among humans.

The people of Oz saw their King to be, turned into a Dragon and they had no option than to bow down and accept the prime minister and the witch as their rule.

It was sun set already, the people of Oz now have a new ruler, the old maid had no other option than to leave the palace as the witch who does not want any loyal member of Pura family in the Palace.
