Sunflower : Second

Bakugou snorted. His mother could only hate him, because it is not possible for her to try to disgrace his life out of love.

His life had been fucked up lately. It was horn, he had nowhere to go and his mother did not leave him alone.

Bakugou just grunted when the flower shop, Uravity Flower Shop, arrived. It was the place that the mother always spoke for, apparently, the owners were her friends since the place opened. He snorted angrily as he remembered how his daughter was constantly compared, such a ... How was it? Ochamo? No matter, sometimes it seemed that his mother loved her more than he did, always saying how cute she was, how delicate she was and how he should be like her. The only thing I thought about this girl was, "She must be a pain in the ass."

He parked the car and got out, slamming the door again with unnecessary force. He went into the flower shop, getting angry when he heard the tinkling of the annoying bell. The place was as he always imagined. Pastel pink walls, white floor, with white and black shelves full of flowers, vases and seeds, a black shelf separated only with gardening tools. He looked around and his eyes fell right on the counter where there were two saleswomen. One of them seemed to be his mother's age, of medium height, with brown hair striking her shoulders and gentle eyes of the same color. The other one seemed to be a few years younger than him, at least two years old, she was short, had short brown hair and big bright, round eyes of the same color and ... A fucking round face with big pink cheeks.

He didn't know if he was staring at the girl for a long time, but when he realized she looked at him and they stayed in that exchange of looks for a while. She smiled briefly and left the counter, going to him.

- Good afternoon! How can I help you? - she asked sweetly

- What? A-ah ... I need six Sunflowers. - he replied, a little surprised that someone was so sweet, surely that was the girl his mother drooled over

- Six flowers of happiness?

- No, six Sunflowers.

She laughed, a nice little laugh that made Bakugou laugh out of the corner.

- That's what I said, silly. - she said, still laughing a little - The Sunflower is the flower that represents happiness and adoration, but it also represents instability, due to its frequent change of position.

- I didn't know that flowers had meanings. - Bakugou said, surprised to see that someone who was not even half his height knew so much

- They have. For example, red roses represent love and passion but their meaning is not the same as white roses, which, in turn, represent innocence and beauty. I think it is very important to know the meanings of the flowers before giving them away, so you can express yourself well. So why do you need six flowers of happiness?

- My mom made me come here to buy her something about competition, I don't know. But then, Round Face, what is the meaning of this flower here? - Bakugou said and pointed to a flower vase on a nearby shelf, liked hearing the little one talk about meanings, or just liked how her voice sounded so sweet a melody

- These flowers are Astromelia, and my name is Ochako. - Ochako, that, that was the name he hated for all his adolescence - Astromélias represent the strong connection that exists between two people and are the ideal flowers to express gratitude, friendship, thanks or longing.

- Okay, round face. - Bakugou said the nickname in a provocative way and gave a low chuckle when he saw the girl's irritated face, who was still cute even angry - And this one? - pointed to another flower pot.

- This flower is called Calla lily and can have two meanings. In decorative arrangements and bridal bouquets it represents purity and innocence, it is a joyful flower and illuminates the environment, but it can symbolize indifference.

And they spent the afternoon like this, Bakugou pointed to a flower pot and Uraraka said its meaning. When he saw it, it was already dark and the store was about to close, he bought the Sunflowers and left the store, looking through the window he saw that Ochako was waving at him, so he did the same.

When he got into the car, he placed the Sunflowers on the seat next to him carefully and then realized what he was doing. How can he spend an entire afternoon listening to a girl talk about flowers? He hated flowers! But the worst part was that he didn't regret it. Ochako seemed to be the dose of kindness and sweetness he needed to get his life on track.

Upon returning home, he only handed the Sunflowers to his mother and went to his room. He removed his jacket and tossed it on the chair, lying on his bed. He looked at the ceiling and tried to forget all that. But I couldn't. His head throbbed from the lack of Ochako's speech, from how his sweet voice spoke enthusiastically about flowers, from how at one time or another he laughed at his comment. I missed that cute, round little face, the little pout when he said the nickname he gave for her or when she smiled at him. He was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't even see his mother come and ask a question. He just answered anything, without even caring.

That night, he couldn't sleep properly. It looked like something was missing from the room, but it was just the same as always. Dark and ... Lonely. Suffocating and maddening loneliness. Something Bakugou was already used to, but this time it seemed to be real. It wasn't the first time he felt alone at two in the morning, but it was the first time he felt sad about it. He missed something he never had, and that was to tear his chest apart.

He needed Uraraka Ochako as soon as possible. Apparently, she turned her nicotine.

The next day, Bakugou was barely able to have breakfast or focus on his mother. The night had been a bad one. I couldn't sleep at all, nor did the Asmr work anymore. He felt the panic of adolescence when he had frequent cases of insomnia and anxiety.

Bakugou felt he should see Ochako as soon as possible or he would go crazy. He felt like an obsessed madman. Totally hooked. But did it matter?

There was no other. At seven in the morning he was already at the flower shop, which wasn't even open. He wanted to die when he saw that sign saying, "Sorry, we're closed." but he wouldn't give up that easily, he sat on the floor by the door and waited. He might have looked crazy, but that didn't matter anymore.

- You must like flowers very much, if you are sitting on the floor at eight in the morning on a Sunday. - That voice ...

He turned his head to the side at a humanly impossible speed, coming across Ochako Uraraka wearing a pink robe and holding a newspaper.

"And you must really like your job to come here in your bathrobe at eight o'clock on a Sunday morning." - Bakugou replied and Uraraka laughed

- I think I won this one, because I'm not here at work.

- Not? So why are you wearing pajamas? Can you explain that?

- Yes, genius, I live here. - Uraraka pointed to a small door beside the florist's window, only then that Bakugou realized that the place was a townhouse

- You live on top of your work, that's weird. What store will open at what time?

- The store does not open on Sundays.

- What the fuck ...

- Want to buy some flower? I think I can make an exception but I will want something in return ...

- What is?

- Your number, please.
