1 Tara

Tara took a deep breathe.

*inhale, hold for 8 sec, exhale*

Tara, looked up at her Boss.

"Hello Kev, did you finally read my letter of resignation?" Tara was nervous, but kept her face calm and composed.

"Yes, I did. I would like to ask if you will reconcider?" Kev sighed. "I'd really hate to lose you, your work is the best, always laid our properly, plus you have been with this compenay for almost 10 years, you hold a great benefit package as well." Kev rubbed his chin thoughtfullly.

"I am aware of how long I've been here." stated Tara alittle annoyed. she wondered why he care so much she work here since she was 19. She had no personal life, all she did was work. All she had to show for her hard work was a huge Dog named Moose, her only family. A very nice apartment paid for the next 10 years, because of the small fortune she was given when her parents died and she turned 18. so she decided to take Moose and travel for a bit. maybe the company would rehire her when she got back?

"Tara.... Earth to Tara!"

Tara attention snapped back to her Boss, "Er.. Sorry Kev. what did you ask me?"

A light blush was on Kev. face. He cleared his throat "would you consider having dinner with me? He asked about flustered, as now other employees where looking on, and whispering. He even heard someone say bet 10 buck she says 'No'.

Tara blinked. Her eye open alittle wider after the Blink. "Can I think about it?" she did not want to our right humiliate him with a 'no' seeing as people wanted to wager on his lose. Donny had been after her since day one and he was 20 year. old then her. so when she answer she started at him, then looked her boss in the eyes.

Kev sighed. not a 'No'. "Sure you let me know when." he turned to leave. the looked at Tara, the shook his head . and walk to his office.

It was 330 time for lunch for Tara, and since she lived a block away from the job she went home to walk her monster dog Moose. when she got yo her apartment, she took out her keys, put her key in the lock and felt the door shake.

"Moose get off the door so I can open." she scolded.

She felt the door loosen on it hidges and swing open . Moose Sat at 6 feet and 2in, but when he stood o. hind legs he was at least 15Ft tall. Tara only told at 5ft 5in. so she was a wee human to Moose. "time to go to the dog park, Moose you ready?" Moose had a stub tail thank the heaven else everything she owned would be on 5he floor. but the up side is he swifter the dust up . she smile at the thought, and grabbed Moose leaf our his mouth. "Good Boi, okay let's go. Wait Moose my lunch", she grabbed her brown bag out the fridge and hurried to Moose . " okay now I'm ready"
