Chapter 4:Target Locked
Swoosh.....Astria fled and was teleported near the castle walls,she was injured and her left shoulder was bleeding,the blood was little but the clothes was torn and it tainted red
"That little crazy bastar*" she mumbles with a mad look "How can he be so cruel, knowing i was a lady yet he tried to kill me does he have no mercy for women nor child,ughh tsk he's really a monster, no a devil" she said and holds her bleeding arm, she knew how powerful the emperor was and yet experiencing his strength is really different and now she's only swearing and cursing him to death since she knew she was no match for him.
"tsk if only i could kill him" she pitifully said like she lost something "ugh" and she groans again from the pain so she sigh and calm herself, she flick her hand and summon her water magic, a pile of water suddenly emerge in her hands and it slowly crawl in her shoulder to her injuries, the water seep down to the injured shoulder and it wiped off the blood, the cut cells were generated and her injuries was healed, water magic was a great source of life in earth and astria was blessed to have this power which was more helpful since her water magic seems to be imbued with a bit of divine power but it was still useless for her if she can't win over her enemies.
"The sun is still rising and im back already tsk fine if I can't beat you then I'll do some other tricks to protect my family and people" she said and smirk then she turn around to look at the capital, she uses her wind magic to vanish and went to her destination.....
Lucius was amazed more than mad at the assassin but he gave a deadly smile declaring to find her no matter what......"ackkk your majesty" evan who went back to fetch Lucius was terrified to see his blooded body standing with a creepy smile and kept looking at the sky "Holy moly what happened" he was very surprised 'i thought i saw a living dead' he thought with a scared face and came near him, Lucius glare at him and tilt his head,
"If there was an assassin is it possible to be sent by the kingdom" he coldly ask so evan who was walking suddenly stopped and stared at him with fright "there was an assassin capable of hurting you" he ask with disbelief. " yes so is it possible"Lucius replied and suddenly felt blood falling from his cheeks some of his torn clothes were also bleeding, he wiped off the blood and stared at
Evan so he flinch and answered "i-its possible considering were here to have war with them" evan replied and sigh "But first lets treat your injuries your majesty" he said and started walking again when he was near him he put his right hand near his shoulder "swoosh" a light came out from his hand and the wounds that he had started to disappear and was healed, Evan Christobal had healing magic he was supposed to be a priest if Lucius didn't hire him as his aide
"phew done how are you feeling" he asked "fine now then let's leave, the kingdom must be very eager to meet me" he said so evan sigh again "yes your majesty" he replied, Lucius walks first while evan only stared with anxious look 'how did he get hurt, was the kingdom powerful enough to send a strong assassin that can injured him, his mana is powerful enough to block any attack so how did he get hurt' he thought very deep
"Evan" a cold voice called him so he flinch and saw Lucius waiting with a cold glare "ah yes your majesty im right behind you" he replied with a sweat and followed Lucius back at their camp.
A day has passed and the Emperor and his men reached the kingdom's huge gates, outside the gate,the crown prince and some of the nobles were standing and waiting for their arrival,The emperor was pleased to see how wealthy the kingdom was and he was very astonished to be welcomed by some group of people trembling in fear, the sun was very shining and it was a great day for the emperor to start hunting for his prey that made him distracted from his thoughts of creating a pool of blood in this kingdom.
