The next day as soon as ria was transferred to the rose palace,her tutors came and sir evan introduced them.
"Greetings your majesty" they bowed and stared at ria with different thoughts in mind "Princess Astria these are your tutors they'll be responsible for your education"Evan "She is lady Joana Ferigo,your history teacher,Sir Mark Tomson your skills and combat teacher,Lady Ivy Lores,your etiquette teacher and sir Gian Dante your teacher in magic philosophy" "they are all professors at the royal academy" he added
"Astria Faith Felice, a pleasure to meet you all dear professors i hope to learn from all of you" ria gave a calm looking face with a feint of smile "oh she's really elegant and beautiful it seems like it won't be hard to teach you princess" Lady ivy smiled "is that so then would you all like to give her a test so it can be decided which subject should she learn first" Evan and Ria gave her a forced smile 'why do they have to start at once in the first day evan, wouldn't it be easy if you just pick one of them to teach me first' ria thought and Evan avoided her stare
"Ahem it was his majesty's order princess"he answered like knowing that ria was full if questions "ah i see" ria smiled "then please answer these sheets of paper that we prepared,the least scored you'll get will be the your first lesson" the old looking uncle who's sir Dante said and they all put the paper in the table
"We'll wait for an hour princess" lady joana said "no it will be finish in 15 minutes but do have a sit and drink for a cup of coffee,sir evan will entertain you while I answer" Ria had an authoritative tone that makes the professors flinch "of course princess" sir Evan answered and ordered the maids to served them, Ria was given a tranquil pen and she started answering the 4 piece of papers in her table, she was focusing and didn't notice that the professors as wel as Evan was examing her 'she's really remarkable' evan thought
'what a good composure,she suits the image of being the empress'Lady Ivy was in favor of her
'hmmp how can a country princess speak highly' sir Dante thought,he was the oldest among them since he was already in his 50's "there it's done" while they were sipping their tea and observing her they didn't realize that she had answered all of the question papers "oh that was fast princess" Evan said and came near her to take the papers "tsk just take it already" ria was annoyed by his face that she didn't even bother looking at him
Evan took the papers and gave it to the professors to be check "now let's see your intellectual capacity princess" he said while ria didn't listen and ask her maid for some tea and desserts, "h-how is this possible"lady joana ask "did you learn these lessons beforehand princess"Sir Dante was like accusing her of being a cheater and ria was mad about that
"Pardon me princess but did you perhaps learn all of the subjects before"Sir Tomson politely ask and ria sigh "I am a princess even though i lived in the borderline of the two empires i received proper education thus the Felice kingdom is a relative of the Sylvester empire so the education of the royals are high" she said 'only few people knows that the felice is related to the Sylvester and i told them like it's publicly known hah they are driving me into the corner
"What about the history of the Xaverion how did you know princess" she ask "I only knew few things about the empire thus i used common knowledge" she replied and sir Dante ask "how can it be common knowledge does magic theories easy to be guessed" he ask with a high tone of voice,Ria didn't like the old guy and as much as she want to use her magic on him she can't use it
"It would be better if you'll try to know me professor in that way you'll understand what i mean,Sir evan you should decide my first subjects already" she said and evan who was holding the papers flinch "ah yes of course princess" he said 'she got perfect scores in etiquette and magic philosophy, had five mistakes in History and Two mistakes in skills and combat this is really amazing' evan thought
"Lady Lores, you'll be first to come back tomorrow then sir Tomson, in the afternoon Lady Ferigo and Sir Dante,that includes the introduction of your tutors princess and since your resting I'll escort them back" Evan bowed and so the professors stood and bid their goodbyes though one of them had a bitter look.
"That man is one of the mages of the magic tower princess, he's good at teaching magic that's why he's famous in the academy however his Majesty is also keeping an eye in him" sir Gerald who was standing besides her along with sir Paul spoke
"Oh i see no wonder he resembles a bug" ria "sir Tomson had recognized you am i wrong sir paul" she ask "that man's father was once a knight your majesty so he must have recognize me" he said "hmm he does look like he's still in his 20s" ria "the two ladies are very well known in high society princess and they are also one of the supporters of his majesty" Sir Gerald "no wonder they seem nice however it would be better to be careful around them since we can't easily identify a rat" she said "ah yes of course your highness" sir Gerald replied "sir Gerald take your leave and fetch lord evan I want to ask something from him"Ria ordered so he bowed "yes your highness" when he went out sir Paul spoke
"Will you be able to survive in this empire princess" ask by sir paul like teasing his master, ria gave her serious sweet smile "I have to survive sir paul,but first i must blend in with the nobles especially the young ladies,the wedding will be decided after I debut two months from now so it might be three months later that I'll officially marry his majesty" ria "it's possible that you'll be staying here for more than 5 years princess or even worse forever especially when you'll be married there's no guarantee that you won't bear his majesty's child" he said like giving her a warning
"That's something i must face in the future however for now i must deal with the people in this place and i need to make connections to investigate"ria ponders "have you forgotten that i used to live here your majesty" the old man smiled but ria just sigh "yes i know but are you close with the noble ladies old man, you know i must get close with the ladies first so i can be known in the society" ria and sir paul was twitching his eyebrows
"fortunately for you little brat i have comrades who had daughters won't it be helpful" he ask then they smiled and giggled "pffttt of course i long known that your capable my dear knight" she said "I'm glad and it would be best if you have allies like Lady Scarlet so that you can rely on someone" he said "i know and I missed all of them" ria "I'm sure they all missed you as well princess" he replied and ria stared outside like feeling the air that connect her breath to her hometown.....
