When the Stars Collide

"Oh, then stay here with me." Chaesoo's mother is getting married and she told him to go live with his uncle who is the brother of his future stepfather. Despite the age gap, they seem to get along pretty well. Chaesoo found it suspicious how they all look so young, he is not the one to talk about appearances since his 27 year old self do not match his baby face. It seems like the Andreyevs have a little secret they are hiding. "I know this sounds crazy, but I am what I am. I am a..." (Underwent a lot of editing to really finalize the plot. But this time, it is good to go.) Enjoy and please leave a review!

They all headed to the kitchen. As much as Chaesoo wanted to stay inside the room he was placed to, Chaeyoung wanted them to at least have a proper meal together. Chaesoo could not resist his mother's request. Well, he is too tired and he would not like to upset her especially when her big wedding day is coming up.

"Just wait for a little while, Soo-ah. The food will be ready soon. We can catch up by ourselves later." Chaeyoung assured her son. "So Chaesoo, what do you do for a living? We are all curious about you. Well, we only saw you in pictures and now that you are here please do tell us about yourself." Theresa asked.

"I am an architect. I live at Toronto but I do plan to move. The original plan was to move back to Korea with mom. That all changed when she wanted to get married but, it's alright." There was an awkward silence that made everyone except Chaesoo, feel pressured.

There was still a part of him that did not want his mom to remarry after what happened to them. As much as he wanted to believe that his future stepfather will bring her "happiness", he begs to differ. He subtly showed his distaste about the whole fiasco he was brought into.

He sighed before trying to alleviate the tension. He flashed them one of his business smiles. "Truly, it was alright. Plans do change overtime." He added. "There was nothing much to say about myself. I don't go on parties unless I have to go. I don't like crowded places and I do love to paint and taking care of plants."

Chaeyoung knew that he would be uncomfortable with her upcoming wedding. There were still scars of the past that just won't fade away. Still, she does not regret what she was getting herself into. "About going back, we can talk about it as a family. When everything is settled dear, we can go on vacation there." She smiled sadly.

Christa added, "That would be lovely. Don't you think so, Mikaela?" Mikaela nodded. "That makes the both of you Chaesoo. Theresa hates social gatherings much more crowded places. It makes her feel nauseous." She chuckled. Theresa rolled her eyes. "It does not make me nauseous. If that would be an option to make me leave, it would gladly do it."

"Basically all of us are businesswomen, having different roles in the company. You will meet dad soon if anything changes with his schedule, he will surely be back within the week tops. Please do try and enjoy your time with us, and if your plan to move pushes through you can just contact each one of us to help settle to wherever you want to stay." Mikaela stated.

"Thank you Mikaela." He replied. "And oh, do call me Ela. Theresa prefers being called as Rese and as for Christa, she is still Christa." The last bit made Chaesoo chuckle. "Noted."
