Yvaine's POV

"Hey, goodmorning." Keiji greeted me when I left our classroom. I even took a step back because I was surprised.

Why is he showing up like this? I feel pressured.

"Goodmorning." I doubtfully answered.

"Let's grab coffee?" The asked causing my forehead to furrow. What kind of trip is this and I'm invited to coffee?

"I mean, it's just a friendly date."

"A date? Right away?" Why date right away? I didn't say I wanted to and I didn't that he's my type. Am I being defensive? No.

"No, I mean... You know what, let's just drink coffee. Casually." He answered and started walking while scratching his nape.

"If you say so." I said that I will follow. Grabbing a coffee with him won't hurt anyways. He is Eoin's cousin so it's fine. He was the one who pulled me over last Saturday just so I wouldn't get caught. I owe him for that.

"You like iced mocha?"He asked when we sat down at the cafe inside the academy. The scenery here is nice and solemn.

"How'd you know?" I asked, out of curiosity.

"I just guessed."He answered and smiled. We just waited after he ordered. I don't know why he brought me here as there are other cafes outside.

I'm not complaining, I just want to know why.

"Is it your first time here?" I asked him because he had been looking around inside.

"Yeah. I usually grab coffee on my way here. How about you? I heard you're always here."

"Well, yeah. This is actually my spot. I go here to chill and read some books on my free time."

"Now I know where to find you when you're not around."

I sat up straight at his answer.

"Why are you going to look for me?" I asked him after a while.

"Huh?"

"You said earlier that you know now where to find me. Why though?"

"Oh that... Nothing, I just want to know you. I'd rather be with you than stay at the academy's garden. It's way more beautiful here." He answered while looking into my eyes. I guess if I didn't know about how he does this in Japan, I would have fainted from excitement and for his flattery words.

"You won't get me with your compliments. Usual tricks don't work for me." I responded and gave him a faint smile which made him smile too.

Guys are guys.

"I'm not lying."

"I know." I answered before taking our order that had just arrived and drank it.

"Not to make you feel uncomfortable, but Eoin told me you haven't entertained any man."

"I don't trust men." I simply said and sip to drink while looking outside.

"But you trust your childhood bestfriends."

"Except them. My family knows me better than anyone else, so as them." I answered as I looked at him again.

"I trust them because they trust me. Does that answer your question?"

"Yes." He said and smiled.

We just passed the time while waiting for our next class.

Well, Keiji is smart, based on how he talks and how he ask questions because he's curious about things. He also knows how far he should go, especially since this is the first time we talked like this. He basically knows how to respect someone's privacy.

"I really have to look after my teammates. I'll just see you around."

We are now in the building of my next class. I don't know why our schedule is like this.

"Sure. Thank you for the treat."

"Oh no, that's not a problem." He said and smiled so I waved him goodbye before he walked away.

"On a scale of one to ten, how much do you not like?" Rigel asked who was right behind me. I was about to go in but I was surprised with this asshole.

"What? Move." I said and pushed him. I know he will follow because he will mess around.

"I thought he wasn't your type?" He asked while trying to chase me while walking and his face was still looking at me.

"The hell, Rigel!" One of our classmates shouted.

"I'm sorry. It's like it's my fault that your bag got in the way." He still answered so I just sat down.

"So... I thought he's not your type?" He asked again when he sat down and faced me.

"Are you going to stop or I will slap the hell out of you?"

"I'm just asking..."

And he was really waiting for what I had to say.

"You're so selfish." He said before turning his back on me. I knew he'll stop, he just talk too much.

"Hey Keiji, dude! What are you doing here?" He shouted so I looked at the door. "Ey~ she expected~"

"Are you stupid?" I asked him, kicking his chair.

"Look at you trying not to smile."

"Dumb."

"Don't control it, it's just us." He said that made me laugh out loud.

"I'm not thrilled. I'm laughing because you're such an ugly fool. I don't know what bad your mom ate when she was pregnant with you." I answered that's why he lost his smile.

"You have a bad attitude."

"You look worse."

"You're not invited to my birthday. Remember that."

"Gosh. I don't mind."

"You're really dull." He answered before turning away from me. He must be fed up. He will start again later, I'll just wait.

"Hey. Where are Seren?" I pushed him.

"Why are you asking me?"

"What, should I ask them? Why would they care about Seren?" I mean our classmates.

"And why would I care about them too?"

"Oh really? Huh? You dumb shit." Stella who had just entered with Seren hit him on the back of h is head.

"I'm just kidding! You get angry right away." Rigel answered while fixing her hair that was tangled because of Stella.

"Where's Eoin?" I asked.

"He's going to get something from Astro." Seren answered.

"Why do you know?"

"Because he said so."

"Why would he tell you?" Rigel joined.

"Because we were going here with him earlier?"

"And why are you with him?" Stella asked.

"What? You're with us too. You're stupid." Seren answered and just took her book from her bag so we laughed. It's already time, so our professor came in a little later. He checked the attendance so he's looking for Eoin because he's never absent.

"Where is Mr. Takahashi?"

"He have diarrhea, sir." Rigel answered so Stella and I laughed and Seren hit him.

"What? Rather than telling him where he is, he might get scolded." He even whispered to Seren in annoyance.

Where did you see a demon with good intentions?

"O-Okay. Send him my get well regards."

"Okay sir, copy."He proudly answered. Our professor then started to open a topic about our lesson today.

He's teaching history so it's boring for them to listen attentively to him, but I actually like this course. It's interesting.

After how many minutes, someone knocked on the door so our professor answered it.

"I'm sorry, I'm late." Eoin said as he opened the door.

"Are you okay?" The prof asked so we were already laughing here at the back.

"Yes sir, I'm fine." He looked confused but he answered.

"Okay then, come in." He replied so he entered the classroom. "Are you sure?" Prof asked again when Eoin passed him.

This is because of Rigel. He's silly and a dumbass.

"What's funny?" Eoin asked when he was already sitting so the three of us couldn't stop laughing and they heard us.

"What's funny there?" Our professor asked.

"A-ah... Nothing, sir. Eoin just stepped on Rigel." Seren answered. Liar.

"I did? Sorry, bro." He answered so we don't know how to breathe anymore because we can't stop laughing. Stella was still hitting and elbowing Rigel because she was whispering something else while they were trying to duck so they couldn't be seen.

Ah, I think I'm having my abs back because of laughing.

"What happened to you?" Eoin asked me when I looked at him and looked away while holding back a laugh. This is what is difficult for us, when we laugh we can no longer be quiet.

This is all because of Rigel.

I just shook my head because I didn't have the strength to answer him.

"Seren what's wrong?" He poked Seren who was next to me because he sat behind us.

"Because of these idiots." She answered so that my laughter was about to burst again.

"Have you eaten bananas yet, dude?" Rigel looked at Eoin so Stella and I burst in laugher again in surprise. Even Seren laughed. She's just holding back because she doesn't want to be scolded.

"Hudson, Davis, Carson, and Nicholson! What do you think you're doing inside my classroom? You've been laughing for a while now. Go out first and come back when you're sure you won't do it again." When he scolded us, the four of us just stood up and took our bags to go out.

"This is your fault guys." Seren said while closing the door so we laughed out loud again.Eoin was then left inside. Well, that's unfair.

"When are you going to come to your senses? I even got scolded because of you guys are naughty."

"You got scolded because you also laughed. Admit it. They won't let you out if you don't." I answered while laughing.

"Why would you even ask that, you asshole?" Stella asked.

"I'm just making sure he doesn't have diarrhea anymore."

"He's not really having diarrhea, stupid." Seren answered.

"How'd you know?"

"If I put the stone at my feet in your mouth, will you be quiet?"

"It's for me to know and for you to find out."He answered so Seren picked up the stone and Rigel ran away from him. When he was far away, he stopped and pissed Seren off so she just turned his back on him.

"Ops... Are you okay?" The guy who bumped into Seren asked when he suddenly turned around to approach us on the bench.

"Y-Yeah. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." He responded and smiled. He has a baritone voice that can capture everyone's attention. They just stood there looking at each other.

"Are they just like that?" Stella asked as she scratched her leg.

"I think they fell in love." My answer.

"Serene!" Rigel shouted back to where we were. He is now holding a piece of bread.

"I'll go ahead." The guy said and Seren smiled again before walking away.

"Hey. Why are you spacing out?" Rigel pushed him when he passed him so Seren followed him.

"What's his name?" I asked"

"What? The guy a while ago?"

"Ah, no. Him." I pointed at Rigel that is now having fight with Stella over a bread.

"How would I supposed to know." She answered me.

"He didn't even introduce himself?" Stella asked, chewing.

"Why would he introduce himself when we just bumped into each other?"

"Why not?" I asked.

"Why why, you always ask why, the fuck?" She answered so we laughed. It's really the best when she's the one who gets annoyed.

When the bell rang, we got up to go back to our respective buildings.We didn't go back to the room because we knew we would just laugh again when we entered. We didn't do anything else here other than tripping someone.

"I'll come later huh?" It's Stella.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Rigel said we'll go to the arcade. We will be dismissed early today."

"Don't you just believe that shit."

"Hey, it's true. There's a meeting today, you even made me a liar." He answered.

"I'm not making you a liar, you've been like that for a long time. Bye." I answered and started walking. If I don't come first, he will fight with his useless excuse.

"Hey! Later, huh?! Just wait in the parking lot! Hey! You look like a monkey!" He still screamed. I just ignored him and walked straight ahead.

He's the one who looks like he was conceived in the sea.
